Have used Petco for grooming services in the past without any issues. Spoke on the phone with the groomer prior to visit, and they asked about medical conditions to which I mentioned that my dogs were blind and deaf. When I arrived at the groomer with my dog, the groomer refused service because my dog takes thyroid medicine for his dry skin. They indicated only a printed vet note would suffice. They never mentioned the possibility of needing a vet note during booking or on the call. I’m all for precaution, but if there’s a chance of a vet note being required then I think that should be mentioned when I tried to schedule the appointment. The emails all mentioned vaccination records and medical records, but nothing about a vet note granting permission to be groomed. I have never had to do this for any other Petco grooming visit, and there were records of my dogs being groomed in the system. The groomer also called me by the wrong name.

Each grooming location has their thing but this Palm Harbor location seems to be the beat. Real efficient and eager to work extra hard for the perfect experience!

Love Petco, took my grandson (6 yrs) to buy a fish tank. Spent 150 dollars and he needed a restroom to go number 1 before we checked out. Asked for a restroom and was told no public access. He peed in the parkinglot and we came back in to buy the fish set up. Do better petco, chewy here we come...Seabreeze shopping center at curlew and 19 north

Drew is the best groomer ever. He is always so nice and patient, he does amazing job everytime . My puppy loves him and he puts every effort for her to look its best😊 I would recommend him to anyone.

Apparently they only care about a customers dollar amount per transaction at this location? I wait in line. Pay for my crickets but get told to stand aside while they help the other customers in line first?? So because I only bought a few dollars with of crickets in this transaction I'm forced to wait for others to pick up their online orders?? I bought our Australian white tree frog (who the crickets are for) and our Green Creek Conure from this location, among so many other things, so just because my transaction today was minimal doesn't mean my others were not substantial?! This store just lost my business. I thought that was beyond rude.

Skylar is an excellent Groomer and great with our little Doodle but prices at Petco for Grooming services have gotten ridiculously expensive and in this economy forcing me to go elsewhere.

I had my ragdoll cat groomed at Petco for the first time and I probably should have been more specific about exactly what I wanted done. The hair between his toes was not done and I'm not sure if my cat's ears where cleaned. Other than that The grooming was excellent.

They did all that I asked them to do. The whole staff was very friendly. I am only in Florida for 2 years but Petco was the best place that I took my dog to be groomed. I will go back.

I use to go to the tarpon springs store from the beginning...but that store changed understand the situation of the epidemic crisis but when your told my groomer can't lift the dogs and Don't know when I will have another groomer...but Colleen at Palm harbor was excellent above and beyond and all the employees there my business will continue there from now on
