I’ve never bothered writing a negative review on Google, but I feel this Publix is deserving. I came in to buy gift cards, because we give them out for business referrals. I was trying to buy 10-12 gift cards based on what they had available and each gift card for $25. I was questioned by one of the staff as to why I was buying these and made to feel as if I was a scammer or some kind. I was buying them on my company work card which has the company name on it. Nevertheless, a manager was called over and I don’t appreciate being made to feel so poorly. I bought $300 worth of gift cards & paid $60 to activate them. Doesn’t sound like I’m the scammer. Not to mention the fact Ive never been questioned when I have spent $300 on groceries or when my mom has to spend $400 to pick up her medications. I’ll leave the persons name out of it for privacy and I’m not for shaming, but management should consider retraining some of the their staff . I will not be giving anymore $ to this publix location and suggest you reconsider too.

Been here many times. Staff is on top and very friendly and helpful. Never had a horrible time here. It is very welcoming. Overall, really enjoyable place to go shopping for groceries due to highly positive atmosphere.Extremely Clean too!

The vegetables and fruit are very good looking but pricey. However, due to location there is another storefor comparison. If one wants to travel you have a variety if you want to commute approximate 3 to 5 miles.A bit pricey there at Publix. The Bogos are fairly Decent sometimes!!!Martin Highway in Old Palm City. The store is clean and quick to shop at !!

(As of Feb. 7th. Seems to be corrected... the Deli has changed for the better)Stood in line waiting to order a sub behind one order being processed. Dec. 28 approximately 2:50 pm. There are two sandwich stations. The one I was in front of no one was working. There were five people working in the deli, one making a sandwich for people in front of me. No one asked me if I was being helped, needed help, or could they help me. Today I just felt like the lack of respect was over the top. Went to the store manager and let her know there was a problem so they could fix it. She wanted to make me a sandwich I told her thank you but no thank you. Came down the street to the neighborhood pizza shop and I’m enjoying a nice fresh Italian sub.

Update: BOGO is a real deal. It starts on Thursdays and ends on Wednesdays. Customers should check out the deals on the store's app before leaving the house to get the best deal on groceries.The store itself is very tidy and well organized. The employees are friendly, helpful, and happy. For over 20 years, I only had one unpleasant experience at this store, a very rude employee who happened to be a supervisor or in management . When I asked for help, I got yelled at. She told me to ask someone else because she was too busy. Also, the price ranges from $$ ~$$$ especially in the meat department.

I had ordered a custom cake for my Sons 18th. I called twice to verify they had a picture of the cake and it would be ready. Upon picking it up they didn’t add any words to the cake like in the picture…I brought it to the bakery and explained the situation. A cake decorator began piping the words. Several managers overheard what happened and one of them apologized genuinely and then gave us free cupcakes for the wait. That’s called Good Customer Service. The cake turned out awesome and made my son laugh, which is what I had hoped for! Thanks Publix!

Absolutely love the store very clean and everybody for the most part is very professional. Barbara in the deli was very helpful the other day to ask Johnny I think his name was to put me some fresh chicken in he was super nice and had it for me in no time at all.The only reason I didn’t give a five star review is the cashier Elan was super super unfriendly tried speaking to him a couple times would not say a word. It’s a shame because the place is such a nice place and well organized and great staff but when you act like that kind of takes the happiness of being in there away a little bit when you leave. Great managers keep up the great work hopefully Elan will move on and be miserable somewhere else.

Two days before Thanksgiving. Parking lot packed. Store extremely busy. But every staff member was pitching in to pack bags, staff all the registers, help customers to their cars, suggest coupons and 2 for 1 sales. Answer questions, etc. -- all done with a smile. What a pleasure. Kudos to the management. Still my favorite Publix. Lots of parking. Wonderful staff.

I love this Publix, not sure about the deli, I used to have a 1 star review here because of the deli but they don't deserve that! Shout out to the morning crew for being nice so early in the morning, and the produce department for being super nice. I do miss the old sushi chef though. . . . Thank you!

This store gets five stars due to its employees. I come down here several times a year and go to this store almost every day. The cashiers are really nice and enjoyable to talk to. Everyone is helpful. I got some delicious fresh wild Dover sole today. I have not found sole in years. The man at the seafood counter was very nice to me. I really appreciated it. It is never too crowded when I go there either.

I’ve been getting the same sandwich for the past 13 years many different Publix stores always ask for the same thing and for the first time today I got someone complaining that they didn’t want to be messy with a knife and put the condiments that I want it on there or as much that I want it on there I would never ask Lady to make my sandwich. She made a simple sandwich, so disgusting. It tasted so plain. And she kept making me feel bad, so I kept apologizing. I don’t know her name, but I would never ask her to make my sandwich again.

I shop at this Publix for their Subs, Fresh Produce and I use the pharmacy. I like this Publix, always clean, everyone is nice, and no where near as crowded as the Publix on Martin Downs. Yes, the parking lot wasn’t thought out well, but that is not Publix’s fault. 10/10

I definitely prefer the Old Palm City Publix over the one located a mile or so away on Martin Downs Blvd. Easy entry/exit routes and plenty of parking and a drive-through pharmacy. The store is very clean and organized, and the staff are very professional and helpful. All departments function as a team, and I would highly recommend this location.

Even though the Publix on Martin Downs Boulevard is busier I will make sure I go there from now on. At least the people there are kind. The manager Maribel whoever she is the most nastiest wickedest person you can ever ever ever ever ever meet period all I did was try to return items with a receipt and she refused and told me to donate them. So I left her the items and I told her to donate them. I know about $10 isn't a lot of money to some people but it is me.
