She is absolutely the most incredible veterinarian! We brought our 11-year-old dog in thinking that we were facing end of life because he would no longer eat. She addressed the root cause and with one simple switch, I have a whole new dog in one week. I’ve never seen him play or smile as much as I have in the last 48 hours! I have the utmost confidence in the staff and Dr. at Pet Diagnostics!! They CARE above everything else and the doctor explains every detail so well so you understand the treatment. My cat has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and I do believe he is getting the BEST care he has had! It’s difficult to know the difference in care until you come here! What a difference!!! I would highly recommend and feel so fortunate I found them! They answered a desperate email of mine on a Friday night at 10:30pm and then saw me and my precious baby the next day! This doctor is very intuitive and got to some very mysterious problems that my other vet was not aware of. She is a game changer for cats and dogs. She will not rest until she finds the issue and she will never leave you without your meds day or night. She has turned around my cat that had been declining for years and no one else had answers. She is turning my puppy back to being a normal dog again. She is, in fact, brilliant!

Dr. Scorteanu is a phenomenal veterinarian and a kind-hearted soul who truly cares about every animal that walks through her doors. She has a particular passion towards cat rescue-her adorable kitties playing in the window were most likely previously scheduled to be euthanized at a shelter, had prior health issues or had just been given up on. Each cat/kitten has been loved and cared for by the amazing individuals that work next to Dr. Scorteanu. She funds it out of her own pocket or incoming donations to provide them with proper care, which is a testament to her compassion and dedication to animal welfare.In addition to being passionate about animal welfare, Dr Scorteanu has truly gone above and beyond for me and my pets. I have adopted 3 kittens from Pet Diagnostics and had 2 rescues of my own. Every time my cats have needed her care, she quickly responds to my questions and concerns. She fits me into her busy schedule even for last-minute appointments when needed, which has been a lifesaver during emergency situations. Her expertise and guidance have helped me make informed decisions for my pets' healthcare that has ultimately paved the way for their optimal well-being.Dr. Scorteanu has always been incredibly caring, patient, and thorough with her examinations. Her gentle demeanor and compassionate nature allow pets, and pet parents feel safe and well-cared for during their entire visit. Her wealth of expertise and vast knowledge base set her apart from other veterinarians, and her diagnostic and treatment approaches are second to none. I particularly appreciate her out of the box thinking and treatment plans, especially when other veterinarians have essentially given me no hope or options for my ailing cat.From the moment I walk into the hospital, I feel well taken care of by the entire team. Phenomenal veterinarian, Dr. Romina, is incredible at what she does. She is kind, Compassionate & patient. Not to mention incredibly thorough !I came in with my 12 yr old ginger who wasn't eating or doing much of anything and was prepared for the worst news, I had gone to 4 different vets in the last year trying to diagnose his ailment, and knew there was more going on than the same diagnosis we kept getting. In one visit, she managed to narrow it down and tailored a treatment plan to his condition. He's doing much better and is back to himself. We can't thank you enough ! ❤️

I don't have words for how amazing Dr. Scorteanu is. She helped me with a very complicated situation with 5 kittens, (and their mom), that I had to get spayed and neutered to keep and a second group of 5 kittens that needed to be taken care of and needed homes, which she found. She truly loves the animals and will go to any length to help them, including texts to their owners ay night and answers to questions by phone, giving quick advice when you truly need it. The entire staff is so caring and knowledgeable and know how to put you at ease. She provides excellent treatment, but does not over prescribe medications or treatments, which is not always the case. If you want a very talented vet that will be there for you and your pet, even come to your home if needed , she is the vet you want.

I first became aware of Pet Diagnostics and Dr. Scorteanu when my foster kitten, Ariel, began suffering debilitating seizures. The first veterinarian the rescue had me take her to prescribed anti-seizure meds but suspected rabies, and wanted to report her to ACC. The rescue opted for an exam at Pet Diagnostics which gave her an appointment immediately. Dr. Scorteanu took her history, determined Ariel would need bloodwork and skull xrays, and provided an estimate. The rescue agreed, diagnostics were performed, Xrays read in house, bloodwork analyzed in house. By the end of Ariel's first visit she had a diagnosis, more medications, and a referral to a Facebook group expert in Ariel's disease. The idea of rabies was debunked.Throughout Ariel's treatment, which requires bloodwork at 30 day intervals, the Pet Diagnostics team has been very responsive and always available to consult. Ariel's seizures grew farther apart and less debilitating but remained a factor that caused me alert Dr Scorteanu periodically to a new seizure. Dr. Scorteanu coached me through keeping a meticulous journal to document timing and dosage of meds, describe seizures and anything else going on--information she needed to adjust meds. Ariel is still in treatment, but when she makes it through to remission I know Pet Diagnostics will still be with us every step of the way, ready to help whenever Ariel needs it.Finally, sometimes we have a long wait at Pet Diagnostics and that's OK with me. Dr. Scorteanu takes emergency cases right in. I know that if Ariel ever has to come in as an emergency, the doctor will help her asap.I’m very grateful of Dr. Scorteanu and her wonderful team.

Absolutely THE BEST bet out there…Dr. Romina is brilliant and so compassionate. She loves animals like no one I have ever met before (and I am a HUGE animal lover) but she has dedicated her whole life to their care and has nerves of steel as well with some of the emergency operations she performs.She is also full of integrity and will not lie to you or charge you for anything unnecessarily. She is the only vet I trust for all my animals and have even driven 5 hours to see her for a simple check up.I don’t know how she balances everything the way she does, but she is able to do it all at her clinic. She is so adept at handling the most difficult cases and surgical procedures, if another vet does not have the solution, head over to her and she will figure it out. Truly, she is a genius.I recommend her to everyone I know and she is one of the few people in this world whose knowledge and advice I never question, as she is spot on about everything regarding animals. I’m also glad she recommended the Purina Pro Plan food for my cats as they have been thriving on it and haven’t gotten bored of it, they love the taste and I know (thanks to her) that it is the healthiest choice for pets.Grateful for her in so many ways, she is kind, strong, compassionate, and a saver of countless animal lives!!Thank you so much for everything Dr Romina, you are truly one of a kind and a great gift to your clients!!

We adopted our two kitties from Pet Diagnostics and cannot say enough good things about Dr. Scorteanu and her team - especially Niki and Christine. Our new babies are 5 months old and were rescued from the street by Pet Diagnostics. They are the sweetest little kitties you could ever imagine which is due to the care and upbringing from these wonderful people who have so much compassion and love for animals in need. If you are thinking of adopting you could not go to a better place in the Palm Beach area.

I drive 45 minutes from Forest Hill (west) to PGA to see Dr. Scorteanu, and that says a lot about her practice. She is keeping my lymphoma cat alive for 2 years and more than one time she took time of her days off to drop meds for me at her Office because was an emergency. I have never met a vet so knowledgeable like her and she's very caring of our pets and she helps dozens of stray kittens, nurturing them back to health and having them ready for adoption. She also cares for my 20y old cat who has a very bad heart murmur, arthritis and just started with some renal problems. Wasn't for her, none of them would be alive (she was also able to find out the reason of my third cat constipation). I have nothing to say about Ped Diagnostics vet and staff, but good things and great admiration for the great professional Dr Scorteanu is! Thank God for her!

I have taken my dogs to her several times, and they were great visit specially her demonstrating great clinical skills, however the last time it was not a great experience, the unfriendliness and poor bedside manners on that visit from her, made us uneasy. Not sure what happened on that visit, it was an urgent situation, and I did not see much interest on her part for the pet's condition compared to how she has work on the previous visits. Biggest surprise was the charges at the end of the visit. I do not mind the expense if you are satisfied with the service and the outcome but in this case, we were not, for example a $48 charge for one blood pressure reading is a bit steep. We ended up taken our pet to another vet for further evaluation (did not mind paying the extra expense) and ended up with a great satisfaction and outcome. Will not return.

I feel very lucky to have a friend who told me about Dr. Romina Scorteanu at Pet Diagnostics located at 11237 US Highway 1 in North Palm Beach. My two 10-year-old cats were in need of a dental due to terrible breath, a lot of tartar and inflamed gums. Dr. Scorteanu with her fingernail was able to pluck a piece of tartar off one of my cat’s teeth and advised me they have a disease called Bartonella. She confirmed it by taking a blood test and then prescribed medicine for 21 days and a special dry food to take the tarter off their teeth. At the end of the 21 days, my cats have beautiful clean teeth, no inflamed gums, good breath, and the best part is they didn't need to be put under anesthesia for a dental. Because of her amazing knowledge, my cats were treated for the real problem that a dental would not cure, are healthier now and I didn't have to pay for expensive dentals.She truly is amazing and the name of her practice, Pet Diagnostics , is a true reflection on her ability to diagnose and fix the real problem that was wrong with my cats.Dr. Scorteanu excels in solving medical puzzles. If your pet has a condition that is not improving with current treatment, I highly recommend you get a second opinion from this Doctor. Your animal may be wrongly diagnosed, or a different course of treatment may be needed.Please let your friends and family know about Dr Romina Scorteanu and her amazing practice, Pet Diagnostics. I have over 20 years of working and volunteering in animal welfare. I have the utmost confidence and respect for the doctor, her knowledge, and her practice.

I just came back from Pet Diagnostics. I was referred to by a friend who rescues kittens. I chose a vet in Boynton initially bec I didn't want to drive very far and the other vet had good reviews. Well. I can honestly say that the Boynton vet knew NOTHING compared to Dr. Romina. Everything I heard about her and her staff was correct! Not only is she a very warm, caring vet, but she is incredibly thorough, super intelligent and did things the other vet didn't even bring up or consider! The other vet basically gave up on my cat before several other things could be tried and that is unacceptable.My cat may have something very serious and complicated and I do not know the outcome yet, but if anyone can help my cat Mickey it is Pet Diagnostics. They did the xrays and his blood work there, they did not rush through anything. I have heard great things about Dr. Romina and now I've seen them for myself. She was very patient and explained everything in detail. And there were other clients there as well who raved about her too! Her office is extremely clean, very modern and they have kittens that they help and adopt out as well.

I brought my first litter of abandoned kittens to her over 3 years ago; found in a rotting palm tree covered in bull ants at a week old, dehydrated and close to death. Dr. Romina and her wonderful staff are beyond professional, personable, and caring. I have been trusting her with my cats for years, in fact I live in Los Angeles and when I fly out here to visit family I drive 3 hours to see her as she is absolutely THE ONLY vet I trust.Beyond being an absolutely brilliant doctor (when I met her she was a specialist emergency vet and did amazingly complicated surgeries) she is also extremely honest and genuinely loves animals. I have never met a person (and not yet a vet) who has as much integrity as she does. She will never run unnecessary tests or gouge you for your money. Her life’s purpose is to save animals’ lives and with her she will fight along with you to the end to do so and never take advantage of you.I cannot recommend her enough (so much so that I brag about her brilliance to everyone with a pet!). If another vet can’t figure out what’s wrong, she can and will and not charge you an arm and a leg (a lot of vets seem to exploit this and it’s a shame). Besides a genius mind, she has the best bedside manner and my cat (who never lets hardly anyone besides me handle her) was kept calm (though grouchy) by her intuitive touch.It almost happened to me in LA, I went to 2 different vets and they scared me into thinking my cat had dangerous levels of plaque on her teeth. They were going to charge me between $700 to $1200 just to get them cleaned under anesthesia). First off I don’t trust anyone besides Dr. Romina to put my cat under, and secondly, something didn’t sit right with that amount (for a small cats teeth cleaning?? Really??)So I waited to come to Florida to visit my parents and take her in and surprise, my cat had barely any plaque, like negligible amount.Absolutely vile of those other vets (but all too common). So, so grateful there are still people and doctors like her out there, but it is a rarity.HIGHLY recommend
