The grooming, product choices, and professionalism are all outstanding—everything is a perfect 10/10. My dog absolutely LOVES coming here.After trying various harnesses from Amazon and Wild One, the Italian leather one I purchased here surpasses them in both quality and aesthetics.Cornelius used to shed excessively (I had to vacuum twice a day), but their deshedding treatment worked wonders. Wonderful kennel free environment for your pooch to get washed at. I take my 5 year old golden retriever for bath's and haircuts and he always comes out looking incredible and very happy, no stress compared to other places that kennel the dogs and great pricing.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR FURY FRIEND HERE! recently took my beloved dog, Oakley, to D is for Dog for grooming, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon picking Oakley up, I was shocked to discover a significant open gash/cut under her arm, despite being assured it was a minor issue that only required neosporin. The grooming establishment attributed it to matting, but having taken Oakley to various groomers before without such incidents, I found this explanation lacking.Despite reaching out to express my concerns and provide evidence of the severity of the cut, the response I received was defensive and lacking in accountability as you can see in the text messages below. The establishment refused to take responsibility or offer any form of compensation.While they may have continued to check on Oakley, it seemed more like a token gesture to deflect blame rather than a genuine concern for her well-being. As a paying customer, I expect businesses to own up to their mistakes and take appropriate measures to rectify them. Or at the very least apologize.Ultimately, the $220 I paid for Oakley's grooming resulted in her being in worse condition than when I brought her in, which is unacceptable. Considering the average cost for grooming is $80-100. Potential customers should be aware of the adjustable prices they offer that they can merely change whenever they please and most importantly the lack of accountability and poor service at D is for Dog before entrusting their pets to their care.I firmly believe that no pet owner should have to endure such negligence and dismissive treatment from a grooming service. My hope that by sharing my experience, other pet owners can make informed decisions and avoid similar distressing situations in the future. It's essential for businesses like D is for Dog to prioritize the safety and care of the animals they serve and not blame, and no fury mom should have to go through what I experienced.

My dog Bentley is so precious to my wife and I and I would not go anywhere else for his grooming. D is for Dog is the best around. They made sure he was comfortable, well groomed, and happy. They even let me come back to say hello and show him I was there, it was such a great experience and he also loved it! You can see his before and after in the photos attached. Julie at this location is INCREDIBLE. We have a Keeshond with a lot of fur and who doesn’t enjoy being groomed! Denise is so sweet and very welcoming. I wanted to find a local business to support and D for dog was the perfect spot. It’s pretty small inside but they have a diy bath which I can’t wait to use since my apartment doesn’t have a great place for washing. I will say you need to be aware of what you are asking for because that’s when the price starts going up as you know. My dog is a 16lb mini labradoodle and it was around $100 which is what I ended up paying at chain groomers like petco. My little girl was so happy and she felt comfortable, I didn’t get the groomers name but she did a great job! Thanks again Denise!

We did a NON-Sedation Doggie Teeth Cleaning at D is for Dog. It was the greatest experience🐶 the professionals Denise brought in really knew what they were doing. Odin's mouth and teeth were so clean and no more stinky breath. I’d advise anyone who can’t clean their baby dogs teeth to look into this service. You won’t be disappointed💕. Super convenient, easy to schedule, customer experience is amazing - topped with the occasional mimosa for the humans. Hands down a quality experience. Darling Place my dog was happy to go to the groomers. I love this place! I was nervous about taking my 4 month old Goldendoodle puppy to get his first bath and trim but he had a great experience. Denise sent me pictures of him during the process, they gave him a complimentary blueberry facial, a bandana, and a wonderful Sani-cut and nail trim - I was so happy with the quality of service and she even sent us home with a cute small bag of his fur from his first cut.💕 When I went to pick my puppy up he was happy as can be and had made a new puppy friend/girlfriend during his visit.The quality of service here, the clean environment, the love and care they gave my puppy and the respect they give their clients is priceless to me. They also have high quality jerky treats that my pup will do anything for and all kinds of items for fur babies. I will be coming back every month!

Got my dogs haircut here. Quotes for $65 for small dog. Hes 7lbs. Paid $95. NOT TO MENTION my dogs ear was snipped which I was not called or informed, only just saw the dried blood and now still scabbing. He has still knots behind his ear when i got him back. I called they told me to come back. Still knots were behind his ear.

My long time & belived groomer moved out of state so I have been on the hunt for a replacement. I usually pay around $65 for a full groom and tip 20% or more. I called around and got an appointment with D is for Dog. They had good reviews. My dog is my baby and he doesn’t love going to the groomer but he behaves. When i dropped him off they were incredibly busy, there were a ton of dogs and I didn’t get much time to explain to the groomer what I wanted as far as the cut so I told the front desk person and wrote it down. The woman (I think owner) told me that he would be ready in a couple hours. About 4 hours later i called to see how much longer. The front desk woman told me that they were busier than usual and that would be about another hour. So I got there in an hour to pick him up. The groomer was gone and they were closing. At first sight it looked to be average quality but was rushed as they were closing. Once in the car i got a better look. There were razor marks, uneven spots, a cut on his chest that caused bleeding, missed spots and one of his ears was cut short and the other was left long. Not to mention the groom was &95 which about $30 more than the last couple places who did a much better job in way less time. I don’t mind paying more if it’s a great quality. I Gave the front desk women specific instructions to not cut ears, to leave legs tail and face longer. I Don’t like leaving my dog at the groomer all day because he has separation anxiety and rather be at home and really doesn’t like to be around other dogs. So the overall quality and experience was very disappointing and I will not be returning. Denise carries the best quality food and treats. Sarge loves his Fromm kibble and Stella & Chewy meal mixers. We can always find unique toys, scarfs, and accessories. Denise is a hands on owner and takes great pride in her store. We appreciate that she remembers us and makes us feel valued and cared for. I love supporting this small, local business. I could order kibble from an online source, but going in to the store and seeing what’s new has always been a positive experience.

We walked in thinking this was a pet store, surprised that there was a full grooming service and a pet bakery instead.Very thankful for taking our buddy at the last minute. The other pups looked happy and well groomed, so it was an easy decision since we are on the boat and find groomers as we can.I guess it was a little odd that (I'm guessing) the owner didn't ask the groomer if she wanted to take another dog at just past 1:30 pm. We talked openly to the groomer about what we wanted, the owner standing within earshot.I asked the cost on our way out. She said $65 unless there are mats. He was just groomed 6 weeks ago, so he was still very short and not matted.They didn't take too long on the groom either, so we took a stroll around downtown, shopped a bit and even had time for a quick bite to eat.We walked back and just a few minutes before we arrived, we got a couple of pics of our fur baby saying he was ready.Upon arrival, the groomer was no where to be found. He has his usual mohawk, poodle paws, and schnauzer face. His mohawk goes all the way down his back. That's a first.The owner charged us $95 for the cut, gave us no receipt and said, "I'll sign your receipt myself"! More than I've paid anywhere in the countless cities he's been groomed in... from LA, Houston, Denver, even more than in NYC!

The owner, Denise is very helpful and kind. I love the DIY dog bathing option where I pay to use the raised bath tub, shampoo, brushes, towels, blow dryer, etc. I bring clients dog here and recommend it to others.. They also sell high end dog food, gourmet treats and goodies. Nice local shop.
