Visited store today and met the new owner....The tanks are nice and clean great selection of fish and coral and anything else you can think of. The new owner is great too. He listened to what I was going for and had some great input as I was starting out on my first saltwater tank. Very knowledgeable and friendly as well. Great selection of aquatic life. I'll definitely be back! 5 stars!

Tanks are horribly dirty and full of aptasia. Being it is one of the only aquarium stores in the area if you need a fish and have a quarantine tank setup at home I guess they would do, but would not recommend them.

I'm very happy with my purchase. I had a lonely koi and now she is happy with her new companion. Price was awesome and they had a nice selection for a small store.

Incredible sea life. I found this Fu Manchu dwarf there. Very friendly, informative employees. Awesome Coral selection. Everything look health at a good price.

It's a little shop but worth a look. The owner is so sweet and helpful .I've gotten. Fish and supplies from this store with no problems and he doesn't rip you off with prices

Great place to buy anything in saltwater or fresh water just met new owners great experience today bought a cow fish from them I been going to trident over 10 years and with todays experience I have no doubt I will continue to shop there good luck with the shop

Great store. It looks closed from the street because they have white curtains covering the store front and a small open sign near the door. They have beautiful fish! They don't carry much supplies though. The guy there wasn't very personable, but he was very knowledgeable. The fish look very healthy overall. I got a zebra snail from there and he's very healthy and active! I will definitely go back! Prices are very reasonable as well.

Updated: new owner. Phil retired as of 2/23. I've been going to Phil/Matt since 2010 so it was hard seeing new owners. Codi has super energy and is super excited. He seems to prefer saltwater but is keeping freshwater for awhile. I liked them and their story. We'll see how they do. The mascot cat is still there. Drop in and say hi.

I live in Palm Bay and use Trident for all of my saltwater aquarium needs such as picking up water, fish, and fish food. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the quality of their livestock is, in my opinion the best in the area. Their prices are also better than other stores in the area in my experience. I highly recommend Trident for your freshwater and saltwater aquarium needs.

I'm a convicted fish murder. Thought I was doing everything right with my aquarium and water changes or thought I was. Well I was except for using tap water and not treating it when changing water and cleaning the tank. The gentleman there that helped me was very helpful. So lesson learned and hopefully I dont kill anymore fish. He has a large variety of both fresh and salt water fish to choose from for the size of his shop

Best place on the Space Coast for Marine and Freshwater Fish, Supplies, and Advice. I have been in the aquarium hobby for about ten years, and I completely trust Matt and Phil at Trident Pets! There prices are very reasonable and they really know their stuff!!

Spotted this place on lunch next door, I thought I had checked out every fish shop in my area but guess I was wrong, very pleased to have found this location, I know everyone expects different things when going into a store but when it comes to me personally I didn’t have any issues, since I was on lunch I had to come back and the worker gave me his word on saving me the fish I wanted. I ended up with 2 very rare Purple Spotted Morgurnda Gudgeon fish and I don’t think I would have ever gotten to keep these fish if it wasn’t for this spot. Lastly I mean no disrespect by this but I’m a white male and the Old man ignored me when I said hello as well, I don’t think it has anything to do with race, I think when you get to a certain age some of us are just done with the small talk, if you want to chat it up go to petco I’m sure they’ll give you lots of false information and be fake to your face. But anyways all in all it was a great experience and I’ll be back again and again and again!

Great store. Healthy fish!Recently been to both big-box pet stores and a different local fish store near this one.Other local store had a bad ick infection. I'm sure it happens to everyone from time to time.Lots of marked down open-box pumps and filters. Beautiful Koi Bettas, Danios.

Went there to purchase some fish, came in, stood about 10 feet from the owner who was helping someone, that's fine I can wait... 10 minutes later, still waiting, and I have looked at the owner a bunch of times. Wait around 10 more minutes as he is not even helping the other customer just basically looking at different fish with them. I left after not even being acknowledged. Mind you there was myself and the person he was "helping" in the store, so it was not busy. . . Went and spent over $400 dollars at Nahacky's Aquarium, will never go back to Trident Pets.

If you're ever in Palm Bay looking for fish, DON'T go here! My first time in was today and I was very disappointed. The whole place smells of mildew and mold. The fish tanks are all disgusting and a lot of the fish are cramped or look sick. I definitely won't be getting fish there.

I’m sorry to do this. I’m not sure if there main focus is saltwater but the freshwater section is depressing. Dead and dying fish everywhere. The puffers are sick, underfed and on the verge of death. There bodies are bent and contorted in terrible ways. An angel fish committed suicide via the filter and the body just left to rot. 2 Big beautiful goldfish dying together in a tiny dirty tank. I’ll never go back and neither should you. They need to stop selling freshwater if they don’t care about it.

I really got fish here. I will be going back for more freshwater fish. If I new more about Marine and Saltwater fish I would definitely have gotten a few. Beautiful fish

These guys know their stuff! Providing Palm Bay with Fresh water and Salt water Fish and coral for years !Centrally located between Pizza Hut and Subway on Babcock street in Palm Bay.Just today they tested my fresh water samples and instructed me on ways to maintain my fountain and my indoor 35 gallon freshwater tank. After reading a review about this place I went in to see for myself and sure enough Emily was right. I am a clean cut African American male and sure enough I tried to talk to the owner and he ignored me completely not even a hello welcome I would highly recommend staying away from this place if you are a colored person.

I think this place sucks must not like black people i was the only guy in the store waited 10 minutes and the guy. Helped the next person that came in after me with a nice greeting and answered all his question and got him what he needed got to me and rudely said no we don't sell that i asked about the fresh water fish and said over there and walked away and never came back i got so mad and just walked out

I went to this Store and the employee (ole man) i dont know if he is the owner but he never way a Word to me,he didnt say hi Or welcome, NOTHING and i feel very bad, un a spanish guy maybe he is racist, and also all the Marine fish scratching all tge time in the sand,neverback again

This place has done down hill since the last time I was there a few years ago. All the fish tanks were dirty, the shop is smaller than I remember, not alot of fish selection, It was warm inside and the staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there.
