It’s pretty cheap, I thought it was more expensive then Tractor Supply but after going to get Hay and Bedding pellets for my bunnies I realized that it’s much much Cheaper, and their quality is amazing for the prices they have!!

We go here several times a week, either to Malabar Vet or the feed store. Both have awesome employees! We have 9 rescue dogs along with chicken's & goats so we frequent them often for meds, food and hay. Love that they are close by and always can find what we need.Updated review:They recently did an addition to the building and new electronic registers to check out. I'm sure it was costly in addition to the increased prices from Bidenomics, but now they took away the veterans discount on the feed side. It also seems that there are many times we go in and what we need is not in stock. It's frustrating but sure seems that our friendly neighborhood store is in the process of changing, and not a good change. I'm sad about it.

I have 10 guinea pigs, I have bought all kinds of timothy hay from different websites and local stores. The price of the 2tie timothy hay is absolutely amazing and i have no complaints from the pigs no one turns away at all which can happen. All the staff i have interacted with so far have been knowledgeable and courteous. I am so glad i found this place

The only place I'll go for feed. They are incredibly helpful and will even load your vehicle for you. It's also great that they will keep track of previous orders so you can make sure you're getting exactly what you want!

The owners and employees are next level above larger stores!Since getting bird food there my egg production has gone from 3 eggs to 2 dozen like it was 10 months ago! I think Purina put out bad food! No worries now ! Getting quality food from malabar feed!

(Edited to add: After Nikole replied so well to my negative review, I went to talk with her. She explained the problem they are having with the supplier for the feed we need, and she went out of her way to order from two different suppliers to give us a better chance of getting what we need. She was super helpful. I've edited the two stars to five stars for their excellent response and helpfulness.)I hate to leave a negative review because the people here are great. We have been getting our feed from here recently for our dogs, rabbits, and poultry. We ran into a problem with my Chesapeake Bay Retriever having an immune system disorder, which requires her to have a low protein food. We switched her food and found the Valu-Pak 22-12 was great for her. Malabar Feed and Farm was the only place we were able to find it. We switched her gradually, and she began to get better. Much better. However, Malabar Feed and Farm quit carrying the food. I was told to come in on Thurdays when the shipments came in to get it. For two weeks, I did, and it wasn't on the truck. Now we are out of the food and scrambling to find some other food for her on short notice. That also means we won't be able to gradually change her food. Instead, she will have to switch to a new food we haven't tried yet. Her health issue makes this quite a potential problem. It's unfortunate that we have to source a new food and a new place to get it, because we really liked going here. But we need a one-stop shop for our feed needs that we can count on to have what we need from week to week.

Chris was amazing! Very nice young man with a great attitude and smile. He was very helpful and came to my assistance immediately, stopping what he was doing to do so. With a smile! I will be back because of Chris and the young lady who was in the office. She too was very pleasant and didn't mind one bit that I came in the door with a stupid question about hay vs straw. lol She must have thought I was an idiot but she never showed that to me! 😁 And I sure appreciated her for that! 🤣😂🤣 Y'all are doing a great job and have a fantastic staff. Give those folks a raise just as soon as it's possible, considering the current world climate. They deserve it! Well done Malabar Feed and Farm! 👍👏🙂

A wonderful place. My mom and I went looking for a unique product,.and we had lots of questions. The lady that helped us was clearly well educated on the products she sells. She also was so genuinely nice, and a great smiler. In conversation I had mentioned I had a dog. She excitedly said, when you come back bring your dog. Once outside my 87 year old mom, who can hardly walk said, "when you come back, bring me, I had fun." We got what we needed and left smiling and happy

We have been here many times since my original review. Our opinion just gets better each time.I agree with another reviewer who said "great place and great people." We have an aviary and several pigeons. It has been very difficult to find the appropriate seeds to feed them. Malabar Feed and Farm has a nice selection and even had some bags of seed specially formulated for pigeons. They stocked these seeds in 5 pound and 50 pound bags. On top of everything else, their prices were well below what we have been paying for feed that was intended for other bird species. We just couldn't find anything for pigeons.

What polite treatment by the store clerk, who let me use his phone when I I was lost and needed directions (being new to the area). Even basic customer service skills and politeness are a rare find in public establishments; especially in the times we're living in. So 5+ stars!

I will never go to a regular pet store again. Prices here are fantastic. They have traditional medicine and all natural. The staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It's not just for farm animals. Dog and cat supplies aplenty.
