over the last 2 years i have been here dozens of times. the employees have changed throughout the years but everyone is friendly and fast through the checkout process. they usually have what you're looking for. Only time they have been out of stock is when I was looking for sour cream. not sure if the bathrooms have been fixed or what but i have seen them turn customers away from using the bathroom earlier this year 2023

Too Lazy to Answer Their Phone.Come on!I know they know how to use a phone. I see the staff on their phones all the time.This store is notorious for being out of sale items such as Coca-Cola 12 packs.Of the fourteen times I went there specifically for this sale, the coke was only in stock twice!So, I figure I'll call them.But after going through their clunky service and pressing "3" to speak to a Sales Associate, I get no answer.Tofday was the 5th time I've experienced this.I live nearby. But the city has decided to tear up Port Malabar Rd and you can only travel one direction. So it would be nice to know if it's even worth the effort of navigating that mess.

As a "customer" if you ask to use the restroom they direct you to the public park across the street and the public restrooms. The employees are all commenting that they have to go over there to use the restroom as well. Apparently the restroom at this business has been broken for over a year which is a health code issue. I urge anyone not to shop there because apparently the employees that work there can't even wash their hands and they sell food in this establishment. This means that this establishment is extremely unsanitary and needs to be reported to the health department!! DON'T SHOP THERE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH!!

Can usually find anything I need, at the same price or less than the big box stores and without all the congestion. Much more convenient.

Terrible hair brushes. Don’t get. I literally brushed my hair twice with a brand new brush and the whole bristle part flew off. So rate 0/10. Wouldn’t do again. Other than that they have nice employees and some alright quality products.

Needs to be attended to better. They have what you need but yuck. I know dollar stores is lower income areas are less kept but this is a pretty big area serving a lot of people. Hire one more person.

I went to this family Dollar because it was right next to the park that I always take my son to to get drinks and a few things hopefully they fix their bathroom they said it's been broken for a week and when we asked if that was the only bathroom since I needed to change my son's diaper and go to the bathroom myself will be contacting corporate if bathroom is still broken

Since they opened they have been nothing but an annoyance. Today was another great example. I walked in theres a guy at register waiting to be checked out you had 1 employee on store phone talking to her boyfriend, another sitting there talking to a friend in store about some party then a third just walking around. I grabbed what i needed went to the line and hey dude still waiting to be checked out. Now he gets mean with lady on the phone tells her to do her job she says i am he says no you are talking to your man on company phone cash me out or go home if you dont wanna work. She blew him off continued to talk. Finally employee who was walking around came up and helped him. They were all very rude to us customers but thats nothing unusual. Owner needs to fire everyone and hire people who want to actually work. There are times ive sat for at least 10min waiting for someone to come to the register. Employees always smell like weed or alcohol, store is always nasty. Nothing is ever stocked so you literally have to walk around boxes in every isle. Family dollar just needs to shut this location down.

Many problems with prices on items I purchased compared to the sign in front of product.Asked casher about my smart coupons to on my purchased and she said she applied to my purchase when I get home my coupon was not redeemed for my purchase.Another purchased item I was double charged and am disabled and need a ride to go back.So unfortunately im out 2.25 $ now.

This is the nicest one I have been in so far this year and the girl working today was very sweet and kind. Very clean store and stoked very well. I will return to this store. Thank you Patty

My family and I love going to this store on Malabar Rd .... Roseann is so friendly and helpful. On a hot day it is always a pleasure shopping here. I do most of my shopping here now instead of traveling to walmart. Sincerely, Terri

The employees at the new Family Dollar located on Port Malabar including the Manager were extremely rude to me and my daughter a few times since they recently opened for business!!! Very bad customer service!!!! We will continue being a customer at the Babcock location, better service there! Just BEWARE!!! Port Malabar residents!

Good store. Small but has a little of everything. Never had issues with the employees since it was built. Most of the complaints are by impatient meth addicts.
