I'm sure it's hard to find staff at these places but c'mon!Here's what happened: looked for some quick fill water balloons....they had a package of 100 for $10 which is pretty pricey. But hey! All this pool stuff in this section is buy 1 get 1 free. That makes it better. And if you are confused about what qualifies, make sure to look for the magenta square on the tag. Great! Magenta square is on the tag.Of course the balloons don't ring up on sale. The clerk....was able to look me square in the eye and say it only "applies to goggles and inflatables". When you don't have the capacity to process that balloons are inflatables....didn't even try to argue.Just walked out and vowed to not return.Everything is over priced anyway.

Plenty of beer in the fridge but no water during a major heatwave. No cashier was at the counter for several minutes even though I asked an associate where the water was.

My wife and I went in there to buy a few things. One of them was we wanted to court in a cigarettes and because we wiped out the last of a brand the manager was yelling at us that we're taking all the cigarettes and she don't get no cigarette deliveries in. I thought the store was open to make money and they were running a business. Not to mention the manager blew a cork because I refuse to let her call me honey! I corrected her and told her you will call me sir I'm a senior citizen and I want to respect. She was so mad she stormed out of the store. Corporate should know what she's doing and replace her she is a very poor representative of the company.

The staff is always friendly! You get what you pay for as far as the quality but you can find some really good buys and if your on a budget it's definitely the place to go! Great cleaning supplies!

Had a wonderful experience here both times that I came here. Staff was very nice and helpful. And although I had.coupons they were so nice and understanding. Helped me with whatever I.needed and always remained respectful. It was also a pretty clean.location. I will for sure be back.

They can't even be bothered to stay open until 10 pm as stated on the door. When I arrived about 9:45 the other night they had the doors locked and were sitting at the register on their phones. I knocked and they completely ignored me. Luckily we have Walgreens down the road that has the decency to stay open until their posted closing time. Absolute worst DG in Palm Bay.

Who would have thought that you could buy groceries, housewares, toiletries, pet supplies, etc at this store. It's just like a miniature Wal-Mart super center with similar or even lower prices. The store was clean and very well provisioned. Super easy to find what you're looking for and easy/fast checkout.

I put in digital coupons and none worked. The girl gave me slack and said well they didn't work and that's that. I showed her my phone and walked her to the isles where the signs were. She works there, she should know her store. with a huff she had to figure it out, we're talking $25 worth of coupons. Half hour later I was done. She was very snippy. She should not be in customer service!

Much better and cleaner than the location down the road on. Hwy US1. Although I can't give it 5 stars due to the lack of products. It is a very small location so they don't have everything you need like other locations do. Their staff is very friendly as well.

The new crew that the Dollar General has in the US1 location in Palm Bay is not very welcoming like the old crew was. The last crew was friendly, helpful and made me smile each time I visited the store. Made me feel welcome. Now it's totally different vibe and it feels like we are a bother to the new crew when I show up to spend my time and money at this location. 🤔

I always go through my digital coupons for DG but lots of them don't get in the DG computer, so don't expect to get all of your coupons taken off when you make purchases according to the coupons. Disappointing.However, the store is always clean and employees are very friendly. Very handy location and usually good prices.

I have yet to visit this store and it be dirty, not stocked, poor customer service! They are always helpful and courteous. Definitely an excellent store and location. 😎💪🙏

The manager was awesome so was the Male cashier, I must admit I was having a bad attitude as I tried to get info about a phone they had on sale the manager came to help me because the cashier didn't have answers about the phone i got irritated but amazingly the manager kept her friendly composure answered my questions & helped me out.. a big thumbs up to the new store manager thank u may God send Jesus to guide ur path thank u for ur kindness!!!!

I went yesterday at the early hours for Sr.Citizen and would like to thank the manager they had a case of to case paper towels hand canister for us only 1 of each but it was thoughtful her staff was great

Quick in and out. They didn't have what I was looking for (8th Dollar General I tried to find Meclizine-DG brand for motion sickness), but the clerk was wonderful. He asked to help, took me straight to the product area, and tried to find it for me. Offered a substitute (which would not work, sorry Dramamine), and was pleasant the whole time. Then he brought the same optimistic, cheerful game to the next customer as I exited. Good job, DG! A+ for your people!

Love the newer style stores prices are good easy to find what you need the lines can sometimes be a little long but it's very convenient sure beats fighting the crowds at the bigger stores
