This location is severely UNDERSTAFFED for their demand. That means customers in need of prescription medications assistance, like you and I, are severely challenged in receiving said medications and or answers to serious questions.Prepare yourself to go into the actual store to get questions answered or assistance. Calling is not an option. Forget that. You can never get anyone from the pharmacy staff on the phone - ever. I literally called 4 different days this past week, 6-8 times each day, from 10:30am to 8pm.With each call, I was placed on automated hold for 6-15 minutes, and hung up - no one answered. Finally, on the fifth day, I was forced to go in and speak with somebody in person as I was completely out of my prescription, and the filling issue/release was not resolved. My first trip to the store, the line was eight people long, and not moving. I could see the one poor technician working away like a slave, the same with the pharmacist, and the one individual working the drive-through (which was wrapped around the building). Meanwhile, the intercom kept announcing that there were calls coming in - repeatedly. No one could answer them. Now I understood. I left and went back that night at 8:45. Finally… Success! I could get the issue resolved, and finally get my prescription. While there, I could hear the same situation with the phone intercom - “you have one pharmacy call…you have 2 pharmacy calls…”CVS corporate : allow this store to hire more pharmacy staff. You’re killing them and causing major stress on folks in need of help with a prescription.I’d give it one star if it weren’t for the friendliness and patience of the pharmacy staff that are there. Also, the store staff are very nice. The store is well stocked and clean. However, the horrendous phone communication issue in the pharmacy seriously needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

They should let you give 0 stars because this is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my life. They are rude and even if you are sitting there waiting for your prescription they don’t care. My prescription was accidentally called into this location after I transferred all my scripts to another CVS and when I tried to call to let them know I was going to be there waiting to pick it up I was told I had to wait 3 hours. The pharmacist then hung up on me. If I could’ve transferred it over the phone or app I would’ve. This is only the most recent incident because I have had on going issues with them. They had me come back at 3 different times to pick up my daughter’s antibiotic when she was extremely sick and every time I came back at the time they told me it would be ready by they would give me a later time to come back. I waited hours in the parking lot and the 3rd time I came back in they then tried to tell me it wouldn’t be ready until the next day! I finally got the script right before they closed after I got mad and that was for an antibiotic for a 5 year old who was very sick so I hope if you choose to use this pharmacy it’s not for anything that the pharmacist doesn’t believe is a “necessity” because trust me you will be waiting hours/days if you are lucky to get your script at all. Stay away from this place!!!

I love this CVS. The store is very clean and well organized. Always someone to help you find what you need or answer any questions you might have. I've never had an issue with any of the cashiers, all very nice and courteous. My favorite drug store by far

Like so many establishments recently, they’re understaffed and overwhelmed with customers with attitudes, in turn everyone is upset. I’m speaking mainly about the Pharmacy. Maybe if CVS would pay there workers more $ than they could hire more people to take care of there customers… Just a thought.

Worst pharmacy ever. The employees are rude and have terrible customer service skills. I understand they are understaffed but it’s no reason to treat the customer poorly. Last time I was there they put a sign up in the drive thru stating the drive thru is down (it’s not they admit they are understaffed) however I watched her help both cars in front of me and would not help me through the drive thru after waiting over 30min in the drive thru line I walked inside to find over 10 people waiting in line.

Honestly if I could find (-) numbers I absolutely would select them regarding this associate, pharmacy, and its pharmacist. April a young pharmacy tech took care of me in Dec 2023. After she rudely verified my name, d.o.b. along w/my driver's license. She proceeded to give me someone else's pain medication and proceeded to cut me off mid-sentence to tell me "NO there are no other medications waiting for you". when I knew for a fact that I had my CHEMO meds there since I'd received text msgs and calls from CVS. I went into the pharmacy at that time furious where literally NO ONE in charge in PHARMACY apologized to me for how I was treated for such an egregious mistake, and I was taken cared of quickly by another representative and rushed out. SO, three wks later to be greeted again by this associate and to know that CVS kept her on with her behavior, lack of knowledge and bad customer service was irritating, disgusting and truly disappointing.

The man that may be the manager at this CVS pharmacy even though he appears to be polite in words is not very nice. I was having transportation issues and have lyphadema in my legs as well as neuropathy and no cartridge in my knees and was simply resting a bit in their pharmacy area when was told to leave. My father was retired Navy and witnessed his friends lose their life in the Pearl Harbour attacks. I have been living in my van for a year now and I now have no car or home. It was the cvs on Palm Bay rd and Babcock in Palm Bay, FL

You can see why they have a low rating. I usually use the CVS on Babcock and US1 but the doctor sent our prescription to the wrong one. They were very rude and very slow. I sat and waited for 10+ minutes before being acknowledged and they did not get my prescription ready in a timely manner for my sick daughter. Went home empty handed and my daughter will have to push through longer because of it. I would use any other pharmacy.

The drive through has two lanes. I’m in the outside lane waiting for 10 minutes before someone even acknowledges me. I’m told that lane doesn’t work because the drop tube can’t handle the weight. I said a note to that effect would be helpful. She said they had one but it was taken down. A cone blocking the lane would be helpful so others don’t go in it by mistake. Slowest drive through.

Yes this place is seriously understaffed but Ashley at the pharmacy really has made all the difference. She’s super sweet and somehow always remembers me. She is always smiling!

The lady gave me a attitude because she was giving my wife a attitude, excuse me but I am the customer and you don't treat you customer like that. Truly unprofessional lady deserves to be fired immediately, and I will be contacting cvs corporate.

Palm Bay and Babcock is rude and treat you like your time does not matter. I can't tell you how many times I have waited for over 5 min at the pick up watching the employees talk about life while I am waiting to be waited on. No one is in line it's just me.. I prefer Target's CVS because they are so friendly. CVS is so expensive though so I switched to Publix.

I frequently stop in to pick up personal items, and although the entire store is understaffed, slightly older registers to work at self checkout, it seems like the employees are trying very hard to help customers in a rush or waiting. Higher prices on items, but customer care card holders receive a large amount of coupons to help discount purchasesI have been very frustrated, but I have learned how to work with the way this store is being operated. Patience is most appreciated with any customers at this CVS location.

i drop my paperwork off at 9:30 am every month and i usually don't get a text to pick them until after 5pm if i get one at all. I've walked in and asked at 7 pm once and they hadn't even started filling it- they had to do it while i was there watching and it still took like 20 minutes for some reason. The store part is fine, but if you want medication from the pharmacy you looking at waiting all day. I believe they need to hire more pharmacy workers because it's always an ordeal and takes forever to get anything filled! At least they do eventually fill them... i think they need to hire more people so that the wait lines and chaos was minimized.

I have been waiting here for one hour and the lady working in the pharmacy Sarawsati , gave me a very hard time . im trying to pick up a prescription, its been 40 mins waiting dealing with her. i always use Cvs and my insurance. today she told me my insurance waa not valid. i had to go to back of line and call insurance. i call my insurance and is valid. i go to Sarawsati and she slams my medicine down when i told her i do have insurance. she asked me my insurance number again. now she asks me for a group number. luckily i have not hung up with my insurance, i asked the lady to wait because i already observed that she was being nasty with me. I gave her the group number. THEN she said I need to waitfor a pharmacist to verify and sign and that hea busy giving shots. this was for an antibiotic! never in my life have i been treated like this at a pharmacy.go sit and watch and listen at THIS PHARMACY. her and the lady answering the phone were so nasty. at one point i asked to speak to pharmacy manager and she said it was her, Sarawasti, but then the other lady said there is no manager on duty

This is the worse CVS I’ve ever been to. Specifically speaking of the pharmacy—my husband hurt his back really bad and needed pain medication. The doctor gave him his first dose and then sent the prescription to be filled while were at our doctor’s appointment. we made the mistake of not switching to a closer pharmacy….this CVS is 20 minutes away from us but I figured I could run out and get it from them anyway (although I had a husband who could barely walk for pain and a 5 month old baby). We waited to get them until the next morning to give them more time to get to our prescription. I waited in the drive through line 20 minutes behind ONE car at 10am…they looked up the prescription and told me it wasn’t ready yet. I hid my frustration at the situation and just asked when it would be ready. They said they would have it ready at 1pm. 1pm arrives…they never filled the prescription because apparently they no longer accept our insurance? So instead of telling me that when the looked at the prescription in the morning….instead of calling my husband’s cell phone number on the prescription…..they just didn’t fill it. So we wasted 40 minutes driving there and back and much more time waiting in line again. So my husband still doesn’t have his pain medication….We’ll be filling our prescriptions at Walgreens and definitely never shopping at this CVS again.

First prescription sent from my doctor they said they didn't get. Checking with my insurance company they had already billed them. Funny they were trying to bill twice. Next one I tried to get filled according to their web site and my insurance company it was filled and billed on 4/25/23. Go to pick up and they say can't fill without authorizat.ion. Come to find out trying to bill twice. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY ARE CROOKS

The person who answered the call today at the pharmacy hung up on me without finishing the conversation, in this pharmacy there is a big problem, everyone there thinks they own the business, with what authority do they do that?!! I'm not going to stop until I talk to a manager and not from that store but at higher levels.

I called the pharmacy from my business to call in a prescription for a patient and Patrick who answered the phone at the pharmacy stated just a simple “hello” so when i wanted to confirm that i called the correct number he just simply stated hello again with attitude this time. After I stated I was calling to call in prescription for a patient he stated it needed to be a written script or electronic when I told him that we have called it in before he so politely responded with “the key word in that was before and now it needs to be a written script”. When I called asking for his name he graciously gave me his name and then said bye and hung up. Don’t apply for a job if you’re just going to be miserable at it.

So slow at the pharmacy. Every time I come here, which is monthly, they got 5 people filling meds and one person at the register. The pharmacists is late all the time so they do not open at 9am. Just awful.

Listen to the reviews and have your prescription filled anywhere else. This pharmacy does not answer the phone. I had to go here 4 times before ultimately having to accept a different brand of my medication because I could not wait any longer for my medication. There was an endless amount of issues here, avoid at all costs.

While I do agree with most of the reviews stating that this CVS is very understaffed, the few staff I have spoken to while picking up my prescription are very nice just very overworked. I hope CVS works harder on getting them the help they need but please remember to be patient with the staff they have as it is not directly their fault they obviously want everything to be efficient and smooth as well.

This store is very obviously understaffed. The workers are kind but are quickly walking around doing multiple tasks at once it seems. Many shelves are disheveled, the store is dirty, and there are shipping bins everywhere. CVS, please hire more staff. The workers there appear to be doing everything they can but don't have enough employees for the workload.

Calling CVS caremark to discuss the poor customer service and rude, curt employees. My son dropped of a prescription for an antibiotic over 4 hours ago and was told it would be an hour. We have called several times and 4.5 hours later it has still not been filled because " the prescription was left by the drive thru window by another employee'. When my son questioned the employee they told him it would take an hour. He stated the obvious that it was already promised in an hour 4 plus hours ago and the employee further stated this.....'well I can put it at the beginning of the line to be filled within an hour or at the end of the line and that will be hours."That response was uncalled for and shows us how customer service is handled by employees at this location. This is not a new experience. Check other reviews. Mostly all bad. Has an overall rating of 2.2 on a scale of 5. I have seen a woman come out of the store crying before.Corporate office at CVS should make sure there is a proper amount of trained personnel at the store. There is often a lack of personnel working at this location as is evidenced by a sign on the Drive Thru window that says the window is broken and this occurs on a daily basis. The window is not broken, they just dont have adequate staffing.Corporate needs to look at the amount of prescriptions this store processes and make sure they get adequately trained staff. It is a very busy store with a high volume of customers.Corporate should start these employees out a higher rate of pay. CVS Corporate should have an employee that actually trains these people so that they know and understand the duties that the job entails. Staff turn around is very high at this CVS store.When they are adequately staffed with trained employees there are few problems. But when staff are overworked and stressed every day they stop learning how to cope with difficult situations.It is now 5:20. I have just talked with an employee and the RX has still not been filled.CVS Corporate needs to help these employees out by taking care of their staffing needs.......and soon. Please.

After seeing all these complaints about their pharmacy I now fully believe CVS as a company does not care about its customers, nor do they have any respect.The pharmacist Brian Cooper is not fit to be in a position where he deals with medical issues or care. He does not have the patience to deal with his employees or customer’s. CVS has had many complaints on this person yet nothing has happened which give this guy a sort of empowerment to continue his rude an disrespectful behavior.
