They recently remodeled this store. The new layout and look is great. They have permanently closed the pharmacy. There is no pharmacy in this store anymore. Everything else is still the same, it just looks really clean and new now. They added self checkout but there's still cashiers, also. I used to prefer Publix, even though they're more expensive. But now that this Winn Dixie has been updated, I will only go here from now on.

It's been a long while since I went to Winn-Dixie. Went there today hunting the Red lobster bran they had it someone give it a try. I don't like self checkout but the lady took me to register four and check me out thank you that was really sweet of her.

I was out with a friend shopping for some meat to put on the grill for a special occasion we had coming up for the weekend after visiting several stores looking for me we finally decided to go into Winn-Dixie to meet there was beautiful they had lean meat with great prices and then butcher came out to help us and ask us was there a special cut of meat that we were looking for the customer service there and the friendly staff that helped us make our choice after we let them know how we were looking for something really special was admirable next time I'm out shopping for me I will not waste any time because I will head straight to Winn-Dixie they are really the beef people

Well we got there at 7am bright and early. We shopped. Filled up two carts of groceries and at 8 am we were ready to check out just to find no cashiers. The lady told us there's no cashier until 9 am. And she refused to ring us up. Everyone between 7 and 9 is forced to use self check out. Self check out is not designed to ring up 2 carts of groceries. Its designed for quick check out for people with small amounts of items so they don't have to wait in long lines. These companies need boycotted. They force customers to do the work. Where's our employee discount? We are not employees so why are we forced to work and pay high prices? How are handicapped people supposed to function? Why are people so willing to except this as a norm?these companies just don't care about the local economy. Its a dumb concept. Everyone just needs to boycott the self check out. Or pay the customer a employee discount. They aren't hiring employees. So they aren't contributing to the local economy. Customers are not employees period.

It's a nice clean store but it's really busy all the time, the parking lot's full and the people aren't all that friendly and it's expensive ☹️👎

Worst fried chicken, third time purchasing and every time it's sooo well done and dry as can be. Usually pick up at the one between melrose and keystone. Delicious every time. Last time I'll get it in Palatka!!!

I am real picky about my meats but the meat manager (Roy) has never failed me. He has always picked out the best meat for me.

This store is awful. They brag about low prices - WHERE? Publix beats them on dozens of items. And has anyone else noticed a dwindling choice of selection?Not to mention, the customer service at Publix is top shelf, they fall all over themselves to help you if you ask for anything.Here, NOT.Elisia, the-bored-to-tears cashier, does not even speak to customers, just says the total and takes the payment, then starts on the next customer. If she can't handle retail she should go clean toilets.

I went on a Sunday morning about 11:30. The store was very clean. Produce was well stocked. It was a little bit crowded but most of the aisles are wide enough that it was easy shopping.

I know that Winn Dixie is a fantastic spot for savings and good deals but that last 3 times Im saying that the fruit and some veggies have been not good, I went on the 7th and I eat and fix my son fruit smoothies and I usually use them in 2-3 days but...they keep being rotten and spoil very quickly, I keep a clean fridge and the same thing for the green beans, and the dates are not old these are fresh supposedly I had 2 boxes of strawberries and only 2 I could use, so next time I hope there not rotten, the blueberries I also got this last time wrinkled the next day, I don't know if this is just me but I check my food before I buy it. Ohhh and raspberries were mushy and green spots on them and didn't look refreshing, I love shopping here but I need the produce to do better.

This supermarket has just what we need. The prices are higher than WalMart, but the quality is better than the mega store. Employees are friendly and non-intrusive on the shopping experience. Self-checkout usually works without a hitch, too.(Bathrooms are also always clean so thanks for that.)

Ordered fried chicken to be picked up in a hour when we got there they hadn't even started to cook it he said it would be another 30 minutes at least. When we asked if they got the order he said yes that he took the call but he was busy with other customers. The chicken that was available had already been sitting under the heat lamps to long and was obviously dried out.

It was Great,I go there for BOGO deals as well as Publix, you get what you pay for but trying to save a buck now is harder than ever.But I will say they have the cheapest eggs around. I buy the brown cage eggs anytime and they are 3.79 a dozenWOW can't beat that

The female pharmacist is rude, lies and totally unprofessional.I know several people who have the same experience with her.The male pharmacist has always been professional, I have no reason to ever come back to WINN-DIXIE Palatka Florida again.I would rather pay a little more for my meds than to fed her!!!!
