This store is better now that they have more help at the pharmacy. They are never out of the things I need. I have never waited in line for very long at the pharmacy counter, the main checkout, or the drive thru. I did not give it 5 stars because I have to be over-the-top impressed to give a place 5 stars.

Try to call in my prescription since Walgreens said they all Macri refill prescriptions. That’s a lie. My prescriptions almost 14 days overdue. Haven’t heard nothing from Walgreens. Try to call prescription tonight. It tells me they cannot refill my order because nobody’s open in staff. That’s the most craziest thing I ever heard they won’t go out of town to have a refill prescription. They Internet really sucks Walgreens I’m moving all my stuff to another pharmacy. This is the Walgreens Done get your prescriptions filled on time or they’re always out of stock on certain items

I ordered 8 prescriptions. I waited for 4 days and called to make sure they were ALL ready. After being on hold 20 min and cut off once, on the second call I finally got a real person. I was told they were, and drove 28 miles out there only to find they were NOT READY, and my Lantus insulin was only partially filled. Now I have to make another 56 mile trip when they finally get my insulin. This has happened before. This Walgreens seems to be run by incompetent people and I would suggest to anyone to go elsewhere unless you like multiple trips to get your prescriptions filled. Being a snowbird, I must say my Walgreens in NY is fine and I never have trouble there. Corporate Walgreens needs to act immediatly to remove or retrain the pharmacy employees of their store in Palatka, FL.

If you don't absolutely need a drive-thru window, find another pharmacy. In the short period of time that I have been using this pharmacy, I have run into too many delays and confusion in getting my prescriptions refilled.Do not use the app. Do not trust the automated system. The staff behind the counter is helpful and friendly. But they seem to be frustrated with the process as well.

Horrible response from pharmacy. Can't talk to anyone. Prescriptions not ready when they say they will be. They put you on hold forever just hoping you will give up and hang up. Noy professional at all.

Spent over 30 minutes on hold with the pharmacy trying to get a prescription filled and they ended up hanging up on me. Happened twice in one day. Tried their customer service line and online service to be told the only way to get it filled was to speak with someone at the store. This has become a routine problem with them. I’m going to be forced to switch pharmacies.

They need to get rid of everybody that work in the pharmacy .. everybody is rude nobody have no type of sympathy they move slow they don't care it take you two and a half hours just to get medicine .. for no reason when you go to any other pharmacy you get your medicine fast.. you do not need people like this working for a business where people get sick need medicine and they is rude ..

My wife uses Walgreens because they are open late, being the most convenient for her schedule. With that said, she has gone to pick up orders that have been told to be ready;only for that to be a mistake, wait in lines, whether indoor/outdoor for entirely too much time. Sometimes, she waited for something with no crowds. Store inside always clean and cared for by nice people, though, so no complaints.

Walgreens needs to do something about that female pharmacist from India. Every time I go in there to do anything, whether it is personal or it is a doordash order I'm picking up, she creates a problem or creates a reason to try and send people away. Today was the last straw. She said she would not fill my prescription, that the doctor was "only a PA," that she did not see any history of me filling the script at Walgreens prior... I told her I got it there for two years straight. She dismissed what I said I doubt she even looked, and told me I "have all the red flags." And I need extra paperwork from the doctors office, a GFD whatever that is.I am clean, makeup done, overweight if anything, wearing scrubs because I work at a doctors office, no sores on my face, taking a very low dosage of adderall (20mgs a day). This woman needs to be retrained because she is out of control. I understand there are extra precautions around narcotics and policies because there is a big problem. There are electronic devices in place to manage that problem, not her deciding what a doctor can and cannot do then profiling people. This was over the top rude and ridiculous.I went right up the road and had the prescription sent elsewhere and gave them my ID and info, no problem.It only costed $5 more and it is worth it if that is what Walgreens is going to hire.

Transferred from Publix to this Walgreens, no problem with this actual location, it's with their call center and online clearing or control area. Seems everything done thru the main control area gets screwed up one way or another, us they run 24-48 hours behind in completing orders or changes. Canceled an order yet it still went thru and now I paid for meds I had plenty of. Plus they over abuse their role, these are people answering the phone and they act like they are licensed pharmacists, over stepping their bounds and knowledge. Let the local stores handle their own customers. Dump the call center and hire locally.

The girl at the pharmacy counter ignored me for 15 minutes while she texted before the nice guy Sean helped me in less than 30 seconds. Sean was great but overall service was poor, because of her. Thanks.

Highly disappointed in the Pharmacy staff. I called yesterday to ask when my prescription would be available, and I spoke to an extremely incompetent female individual. She asked me to repeat my name, address, and phone number about 4 times before finally finding it I the system. She then proceeded to tell me my prescription would be available at 6pm. I asked “will you guys be open at 6pm?” The response I got was yes. That made me assume they were open until atleast 6:30 in the pharmacy. I get to the pharmacy only to find it closed, and the hours outside of the pharmacy stating “closed at 6pm on sat”. I feel it should have been clear that they close at 6 and that if I did not get there before it was scheduled to be ready, I would not be receiving my antibiotics. I now have to wait until the pharmacy opens today to receive my prescription. Now, I need to call out of work tomorrow because I won’t have the antibiotics until today. Which means I will still be contagious. I will never be coming back to this location. Please hire more competent people in the pharmacy, this is just insane.

I have been a Walgreens client for 30+ years. Had a prescription to fill. First they said Ins issue, I called Ins and they had it has not even been submitted. So I called them on it, then the Pharmacist was on lunch, come back in an hour. Finely the truth comes out, the Pharmacist decided she knows more than my Dr and would not fill it. Told me to get a new Dr, I choose to get a new Pharmacy. I have called corp twice to complain, both times told they would call back in 24 hours, never a call. I guess my business is not important to them.

Corporate needs to send someone to assess the operations and climate of this store. As a veteran, I chose Walgreens because they normally are professional and customer service oriented. However, I’ve never seen a more poorly run Walgreens in my years of being a customer. There needs to be an assessment of the management and pharmacy, and training, restructure, or cleaning house needs to occur immediately. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK UNTIL THIS OCCURS!

Rude employees. Wouldn't talk to me kept saying my insurance wouldn't cover it.She actually printed out a paper handed it to the pharmacist, she cut a part of it off so I wouldn't see it. Handed it to me & firmly saidcall your insurance company. I did!! 3 times! They authorized it! Talk to me and stop being so hurried! After speaking with a friend whom is a pharmacist. (In Tampa) She was able to pull my records. Found the authorization & it was authorized. So i Called again. 2 times to Palatka Walgreens. Same thing. I had it filled in another County. Putnam has issues! Just go to the next Walgreens you can find and stop messing with these people whom don't know there JOBS

Please don't give this place your business! Not only are they slow and inefficient but Walgreens does not care about you or any other person they fill prescriptions for! They tried to charge me more than a thousand dollars for what Winn Dixie charges $8 for and Walmart charges $16 for! Walgreens doesn't want to take care of people in these dire economic times, they want to shake you down and rob you! They did the same thing to the guy in front of me. Do what I did and take your business elsewhere! I went straight to Walmart and they took great care of me and for reasonable prices!

I have never been to a Walgreens where the whole entire staff is rude unhappy with their jobs and must be unhappy in life because everyone. Of them are rude They never smile they never say thank you and they always look like they are having the worst day of their life

Terrible pharmacy tech. Was rude and nasty to me and my insurance providers customer service representative on the phone. Will never go there again even though the pharmacist is very professional. The pharmacy tech makes the whole store look bad and I will not be giving this store my business as long as they employ unprofessional people like that. Pharmacist gets a "B+" would be a "A" but she has terrible pharmacy tech representing her and seems to just brush it under the rug. Pharmacy tech gets a "F" hopefully for FIRED cause she is very unprofessional. The store it hardly ever has my full prescriptions if they ever have it at all. Seem to always be out of stock! I reccomend the CVS until walgreens get it act together and does a serious audit if this location.

Transferred an rx from Walgreens in Ocala to this store. Someone made a mistake by closing out the rx. No big deal, mistakes happen.But we could only find a solution to what happened from the workers in Ocala because these workers at this store, specifically Tara (sp?) was completely ill prepared to find a solution. To make matters worse, this Tara then decided to have a huge attitude with my wife, saying “I’m not talking to you” and provoking my wife. Check the tape! This happened on 1/27/2023, between 3-5PM, at this Palatka store which we are done with.

Worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with..you cant even get them to answer the phones without "accidentally hanging up" then when you do get through (& who knows how long that wait will take..im not even going to tell you how many times I just tried to call) the guy they've got answering the phones cant even answer basic questions! My 12 year old could give better customer service..talk about incompetent! I just want all my stuff transfered! I will NEVER use walgreens again!

Terrible service at the Palatka Walgreens. Automated system is evidently a joke. Expect a 2 hour wait at minimum. When you call and actually get to speak to someone, they say it's ready, yet when you get there, at least one isn't ready. They have no respect for your time whatsoever. I'm switching to CVS. They certainly can't do worse.

The pharmacist and staff have always been extremely helpful and consistently exceed my expectations!!If you’re unhappy with services here, try CVS in East Palatka and you’ll come running back. After having the worst RX experiences ever after surgery, I’ll NEVER use CVS again!Thank you Walgreens for providing competent, courteous and kind staff at your store... we really appreciate your staff and store!

Prior to moving to the Palatka area last year, I had a relatively high regards for Walgreen's. Our experience with this store has changed that. I have had numerous issues with Walgreen's and this store. Of note is being charged $38 for a prescription that usually costs less than $5 because their computer system was down prior to Hurricane Irma.On numerous occasions, we have dropped off prescriptions and were told it would be 20 minutes. Well, after 20 minutes, you wait in line again for another 15 minutes to get to the front of the line and then are told it is not ready yet and it will be another 10 minutes. This seems to occur every time we go there. It gets worse. On one recent visit, we were told 20 minutes, so we left the store to go shopping and returned 90 minutes later, waited in line for 15 minutes and were told it wasn't ready yet and would be another ten minutes.This week, i logged into the Walgreen's website to find a prescription I had requested auto refill on, was dropped. So, via the website, I requested a refill to be available at the Palatka store at 10AM the next day. At 11AM the next day, i have received no notification from Walgreens. So I login to the website again and it says to call the pharmacy. We call and they say it will be ready at 12PM. We show up at the pharmacy at 12:45PM, wait the obligatory 15 minutes to get to the front of the line, and are told the prescription isn't ready yet and it will bee another 10 minutes!People, either this store or Walgreens or both are broken! Find another drug store.

Doctor called in script at 8 am and was told by the pharmacist they had plenty. At 11:00 called to check in script pharmacist denied having got it. Doctor called again and spoke with pharmacist and was assured it would be filled. At 7 pm went to pharmacy to find out where script was and was told out of ivermectin for covid. No excuse for this rotten service by this company. The script was called in with plenty of time to fill and was assured it would be by the pharmacist. Poor excuse for a pharmacist and pharmacy. No reason for them to sit on this script order for that many hours without filling.

Worst Walgreens pharmacy that I've ever been to. Always backed up and in 4 or 5 visits prescriptions have NEVER been ready on time. I fill my prescriptions via email using Walgreens email service which reminds me when scripts are due for refill. The last time I emailed at 8:30 am requesting a noon pickup....plenty of time, right? Wrong! Prescription wasn't ready at 4pm and I had to stand in a line which took about 1/2 an hour to be told...then had to sit another 20 minutes while they finally worked on it. And the drive through....forget it. Lines clear out to the street and moving just as slowly. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, or at least choose another Walgreens. I'll be going to Gainesville from now on since I'm about half way between the two. Have always had good service there.

If I could give this store 5 negative stars, I would. Worst customer service I think I've ever had at a walgreens. Waited 2+ weeks for medication, for my son,, that they just couldn't get in (without letting me know they couldn't get it in) then when they did get it in, it was given to someone else. Waited on hold 4 times for about 20 min each and got hung up on....4 times. Waited in the line for over 40 min to get a rx that when I got up to the window, they asked me to pull around again. Worst worst worst pharmacy ever.

Update.... Still waiting since Saturday for them to transfer my prescriptions to cvs pharmacy that actually takes my insurance....Waited 20mins last night in line for pharmacy, told me a price for my two prescriptions, would take an hour to fill and realize so decided to come the next morning. Next morning waited another 20-25 mins for them to now tell me they don't take my insurance.... Ridiculousness why wouldn't you tell me that the first night I was there instead of wasting my time..... Do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone
