This grocery store has good prices. They have some name brand groceries but it seems the majority is store brand. I’ve tried many of the store brand items, most are good, but some aren’t. You just have to give them a try.

The employee's are great. However, the prices are way too High. I have shopped at Sav A Lot for over 40 years and it use to be the very least expensive store to buy your groceries, and now it is getting to be one of the most expensive. They do have a good sale item occasionally. If they had stayed away from all the name brands and stuck to the generic brands they would probably still have lower prices. Sometimes change is not always for the best. Just my opinion.

It is alot more organized than it used to be and the fruit and vegetables section has actually gotten cleaner. The only bad thing is that you always have to wait in line. They always have only one cashier on duty. Poor cashiers have to clean and stock before they go home at night. I guess that's how they keep prices low.

Always greeted by very nice employees. I'm disabled and all I have to do is put my big grocery bag on the sliding gadget, they take out and scan my items, and always put my groceries back in my bag and place the bag onto the back of my power chair. They never disappoint me. Prices are great too!

Although the store is not huge and consequently it's selections are limited, if they have what you want, their selection of fresh fruits and vegetables is small, not offering too many varieties. It's selection of meats is usually very good especially when you can catch a sale. Their stock is limited but their prices are really very good and if you are someone like me, who appreciates saving money and does not care about paying extra for labels or brands this grocery store serves my limited purposes. It is no stretch of the imagination a specialty store or a modern supermarket. But you cannot beat the prices.

The restrooms are very old and outdated. Please paint them and put new toilets. The staff is always friendly and courteous.

Always has wonderful deals and is normally fully stocked. The store needs a little more attention to cleanliness. Other than that the staff is amazing and helpful. This store gives you world class service.

The reason for the 3 stars is from 2 visits. The very first time I was there and my most recent visit. The first visit, awful smell permeating the whole store, had to walk out. Second visit went a bit better but then I got to checkout. The associate was more interested in their cell phone than the customers right in front of them.

I was bothered when I had to pay a quarter to get a shopping cart even though you get it back when you're finished shopping it was an inconvenience because I seldom have any loose change in my pocket. Luckily one of the clerks saw me, came over and loan me a quarter which I return to her afterwards. It just seems like an odd way to run a store. In addition there are two doors to the front of the store and one has been closed for almost a year now. It surprises me that the fire Marshall allows that. That too is an inconvenience when you park your one door and have to walk all the way down to the other.I appreciate the fact that the new owners contacted me after I posted this review. That says a lot and I'm glad to hear it is under New Management. You have not lost my business and I will be back to check on the progress of your store improvements. Thanks again for replying so quickly and conscientiously. I gave you an extra star for your prompt reply.

Store is run down and always looks dirty. No greetings when you walk in, staff doesn't offer help or even provide a friendly smile through checkout. Food is iffy at best. I won't buy anything that isn't canned here.

It's a discount chain grocery store. It's a good place to save money on groceries. The store was clean and produce looked great. The staff were friendly and helpful. You must provide or pay for your own bags. Or you can use any empty packaging boxes they may have. Bring a quarter if you want to use the shopping carts. You get your quarter back when you return the cart to it's proper place.

Left your store without my groceries, due to a long line. You're losing money by having only 1 cashier, when 4 people are in line. The first man at register must have had $150 in groceries, so a large order.Get another cashier!I finished my food order in Crescent City and the Orange Juice was 50 cents cheaper there.

I love shopping here. They have their own store brand items and some of the brand name favorites but all of their stuff is good! The prices are cheaper than just about all the other stores. They even have Tyson chicken in their meat department! The lines to checkout can be long but so is everywhere else. Overall one of my favs!

Not bad for a Save-A-Lot unit at all, large and very clean for a SAL. Especially compared to some that I've seen in places like St Louis or rural Florida counties like Levy County. Good produce and meat selection for a SAL. Only three stars because almost everything in the store is processed industrial food. Prices can be low, but they're usually pretty high in relation to the quantity or quality or both that you get.

I love the fact that Save-A-Lot has fresh Florida grown food! Our store is always clean and the people willing to help you find anything you need. I only gave it four stars because there are certain brands I prefer to buy which they don't carry. But they are very inexpensive on what they do carry. They have a nice selection of meats and Frozen goods, along with authentic Mexican ingredients.

This is the Most inconvenient store I've ever been to l. DO NOT COME HERE. First off I come in the store only to find out I can't get a buggy without a quarter. So I have to go all the back to the vehical to get a quarter. Then they won't take a coupon that says show at register. Why would I print a coupon in this day and age everything is electronic. Incredibly disappointed with this store. I will not be returning. In the end I bought nothing because the store doesn't take American Express or coupons they send me in my email. What a waist of time.

This place has good prices, but too often, their sale items are not in stock, which was the case today.Update : the prices here have gotten very high. They're as high as other more high end stores that have a better selection.

Save-A-Lot carries Florida grown fruits and vegetables. You have a great selection and wonderful sale items. The cashiers are always very nice. Just remember to bring your own bags but you can buy bags from them. it's their way of keeping the cost down.

I can't believe the prices at this store honestly the prices are more than Walmart.....and the quality of the food did not impress me at all....I will not shop here no more......I honestly walked out and shopped at Publix and Walmart!!!!!!!

Surprisingly the store has become increasingly neater and you can tell more attention and pride is being taken in the operations and day-to-day restocking and so forth tonight the store looked excellent but it was near closing had a very nice cashier and whomever the manager on duty was was very personable and polite

Savealots good it's always been my last minute dinner go too. They just changed the isles around which is pretty cool bc my whole life I've only seen them one direction now you can walk in and out isles with ease. And they have the cheapest snack cakes in town. I load up on them there every time.
