"HELLO!!!!!!!" That's what you'll hear walking around this store. There's a beautiful macaw that loves to talk! I stopped in today not knowing if I wanted a snake or a lizard. They had a small section for reptiles that included a few snakes, and some exotic lizards. The snakes today were all pythons, and the lizards included spiny tailed, leopard geckos, gargoyle geckos, and skinks. All the animals were high energy and looked extremely healthy. I actually fell in love with and chose a beautiful python despite not being a huge snake guy..they let me interact with her in the store and it was the personality that sold me. They had EVERYTHING she needed, and she was priced $150 LESS than a python down the street was. All in all I was out the door ~$300 for my lady and all her needs. I didn't stock up on food, and I do know she will need a bigger tank as she ages, but for today I'm happy and under budget. The man behind the counter, and the young lady who helped me were lovely. The young lady helped me carry the cage out to my car because I have a bum foot and was the person who helped me start to finish today. Her people skills are top notch, and she's super patient and kind. Bring a few bucks cash, they accept tips and work hard. I can't say enough kind things about this place. I stopped into a few pet stores before I made a purchase and I have no regrets giving them my business.Tldr;Happy animals, clean store, fair pricing, patient employees. 5 stars.

Greatest bird and reptile store on the planet!!! Clean and well organized. The staff is friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. It’s so obvious that the animals are healthy, well taken care of, socialized and have interacted with friendly and caring people all day long every day. They also have all the supplies you could possibly need for your pet needs. These are the folks you want to talk to when in the market for a new bird or reptile. They will take the time to assist you in making the correct bird choice for your particular living environment. Their prices are Much better than traditional pet stores.

The minute my father and I walked into the Amazon Jungle we were absolutely stunned. The place was clean and all the animals in there were well taken care of. We surrendered our 3 birds today but knowing they are in the good hands of the owner Serena we know they will get adopted in no time. Thank you so much Amazon Jungle. I recommend anyone comes here for animal supplies or animal treatment they are amazing.

We have spent every single day at Amazon Jungle over the past 2 1/2 weeks. Serena and staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They take excellent care of their animals and always strive to do the best for them. We are so grateful for all of the time and knowledge they have given us as we learned what was needed to bring our baby home. They truly put 150% into what they do there!

I went here to just browse around with my son. I found the owner to be very passionate and knowledgeable! She had tanks and tanks full of fish. The tanks were perfectly clean and the water crystal clear. The exotic reptiles were set in a healthy and amazing habitat. I would highly recommend this place over the commercialized pet shops!

I've been buying from Amazon Jungle for years. Lovely good old store. Always have great feeder supplies. Reptiles and birds are in great condition. Seems like they interact with their pets a lot. Due to almost every pet is eager to get on your hands. Highly recommend for your 🐍🦎 or 🐦 needs.

It's a nice place with a fair amount of product. I was shuffled from sales person to sales person and felt like they were trying to sale me the most expensive they had. And they did because I didn't know better at the time. Now I know better. But I will go back just because,,

Fantastic store! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Huge variety of parrot toys and accessories. The skinny pigs were happy and well housed. Best cavy care I've seen in a pet store. Fresh veggies and enough space and hides for both little ones. The reptiles had excellent care and looked healthy. The bird nursery had a variety of adorable babies and some well socialized older birds. The gorgeous red macaw we were told is 33 years old and has lived at the store her entire life... she oversees operations in the nursery area and loves every minute of it. To the other reviewer that was concerned about her I would remind you that parrots nap just like everyone else.We were so impressed with this store and the awesome staff. Very highly recommend to anyone looking for pet supplies or a feathered friend.

Excellent knowledgeable customer service and you can tell how well the animals are cared for by the owner and employees. The store is clean, organized and has a huge selection of just about anything pet related. Will definitely be back!

Loved this pet shops. The owner Cloide was so pleasant. He was so knowledgeable on birds. I fell in love with a pineapple conure. Thanks for making us feel at home. If anyone in Daytona looking for an exotic bird please visit there first.

Love the new location ( and new owners? ..very friendly, helpful), ive always bought my birds ( and other pets) from them. I love being able to look around, handle the animals, or ask questions, and education on how take care of your animals. They have great prices. Their baby birds are tame, and healthy. I go there to buy food and toys..etc. they are honest, and dont try to just sell you something to make a sale.they actully care about their animals .recomend them 100 %

We purchased our 2nd Parrot from them 2 days ago. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and these birds are happy and healthy. They seem to really care about the homes their birds go to. We couldn't be happier with either bird. We live in Lakeland which is 1.5 hr drive and well worth it .

Came for one thing and only had cards on me. They wouldn't allow me to purchase as they have a $7 minimum claiming company charges them $1 per transaction.... I don't carry cash and the woman was very curt and stoic.

They have a good selection for supplies for birds, fish, cats, dogs, and rodents. The live aquatic plants looked really good. I stopped in to get some mystery snails and they were happy and healthy so I took 3 home.

If I could give negative stars I would. THE worst place to buy fish! The attached pic is of their filtration system. If I can, I'll include pics of the fish smashed in between the wall and the aquariums. They won't honor their rewards program in some cases, their store is disgusting, nearly every fish I've gotten from them has spread disease or died quickly. Don't be tempted by their buy 1 get 1 free deal on Thursdays. I've been keeping fish for over 20 years and my water parameters are perfect. Regardless everything from them dies.

About 3 years ago I went in with a very sick tokay. I didn't know what I was doing and caught one (do not do this). Fortunately the store owner saw her and immediately told me what to do. 3 years later I have a super happy and sweet tokay. Thank you you saved her♥️

Came in to buy crickets and on a whim asked about if they had tarantulas for sale, I was directed to a small wall with some of the most dismal tarantula enclosures I've ever seen. I know large pet store chains are typically atrocious, but this is a small mom and pop type store. There were most Ts with zero hides, an Avicularia Avicularia with NOTHING to climb on. Old molts in the enclosures in the water dishes. I had to buy my crickets and gtfo before cussing the staff out. Seriously if anyone working there reads this for the love of God get on arachnoboards and do some research on the animals you keep and maybe have a little respect for the creatures. They deserve far better!

I see a few negative comments here, and I can not understand why. This pet store is a 15 on a scale of 1 - 10. I visit this store for the birds, but have looked around at the other pets, including little rats, bearded dragons, and turtles, and the enclosures ARE clean. In regards to the birds, they have an enormous variety - anything from little lovebirds to Macaws. Cloide and his wife, Rindy, are incredibly intelligent regarding the behaviors and temperaments of each species of bird. They can, and will, assist you in making your decision as of which bird is best for you once you decide to bring a bird into your life. Prices are extremely competitive, so I would highly recommend visiting this store prior to visiting other stores. Customers are also allowed to handle the birds prior to purchase which enables customers to interact with each bird of interest ensuring personality matches. I drive all the way from Jacksonville to visit this store and have no regrets. Many bird supplies are offered as well - food, toys, cages, etc. This place is worth the drive. And don't forget, this store offers wing feather trimming and nail filing!

Oh the nostalgia! This is an "old school" mom and pop pet store that was such a breath of fresh air compared to the big chain pet stores. I have a Sun Conure and an Umbrella Cockatoo that are spoiled rotten. I though I'd seen/bought just about every type of bird toy out there (in stores, online, and at shows), but this place had MULTIPLE toys in multiple sizes and colors that I'd never seen before! Needless to say, my babies got a bit more spoiled.They also have an aviary and nursery with a variety of baby birds. The birds were kept in a very social environment that encourages socializing with other birds and people. They all appeared to be in great health with clean enclosures and fresh water.Unfortunately (or fortunately for my bank account), I live in GA and only visit the area a couple of times a year. But, Amazon Jungle will absolutely be a "must visit" stop from now on!
