DO NOT GET A REPTILE FROM HERE. Per smart doesn’t look or seem to take full care or there reptiles go to a real exotic pet place to get a reptile. They gave me a sick bearded dragon that i paid for she had tail rot and died within a week i assumed the bearded dragon was fine since they gave her to me but when i got her she was sick and i found out when she died what the cause was and they refunded me my money it had only been a WEEK since i got her therefore she had been sick when she was at pet smart and they didnt seem to take a look at it or check their pets out.

I used the vet services at this particular store, and the staff were so sweet, compassionate and kind. Even though the ending/news wasn't what I wanted to hear. I was amazed when they said they had something for me to pick up (I won't ruin it for others) but I was very touched by their kind gesture. I was quite moved by their compassion the entire time, their gentleness with my pet, their emotional intelligence to give me the space I needed and intervene at just the right time. Thank you all so much!

Today I was refused a sale because the uneducated staff said my tank wasn’t big enough for ONE fish for my children. And to be honest if I was talked to a little nicer and respected I would have purchased a larger tank but the lady behind the counter was RUDE apparently this has happened to a few people based on the other reviews I have read. They won’t sell one fish for a 10 gallon tank but will keep their fish in tiny hot cups on the counter. Sounds good makes sense NOT. Do better in training your employees and also teach them how to talk to customers.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly and the lady at the regester was able to sign me up for the rewards program so I was able to get the discounts on my items and for future use.I'll definitely be coming back

This was my 1st time at this location in OP. Tiffany the groomer was very friendly, professional and kept me up to date with my dog's needs. She did an awesome job!! We love her!

The women in grooming are rude and horrible! Never would I return. You can tell the difference between small businesses who care and are compassionate and with these ladies who treat it like a job. All of them felt as they could chastise me regarding my dog who I love and care for, then have the audacity to call me 30mins after I dropped her off and tell me I would have to bring her back another day to see the lead groomer. I've spent plenty of money in petsmart, but I won't anymore or ever bring my dog back!

This location always has the pet supplies my pups and cats need. Only gripe is the location is terrible Orange Park, Jacksonville between Blanding Blvd. & Wells Rd. is horrendous, doesn't matter the time of day. But again the staff here is always nice and always has a supply of the items we need.

My female dog is in season, so I went to pet smart against my better judgment to purchase calming tablets for my male dog (neither have been spayed or nutered).These tablets are outrageously expensive, alas I really had no choice. Because I can't get my male dog in to be neutered for at least a month anywhere. I will not ever use Pet Smarts Banfield, it's a rip off as well.

I have gone to many different stores to buy fish but one of the things I like the most about this one is that if your fish dies within 2 weeks you could return it. As to the other stores the fish have died the next day and they give you nothing except and I'm sorry try again no kind of credit or anything. Great job PetSmart for perfect customer service and the staff is amazing and informative!

This is in regards to the grooming. Very off-putting for a medium-sized dog. Will not go back for grooming. The store personnel is great.

Not sure if it is just that time of year but they did not have kitten formula 2 of the 3 times I went to purchase it, it is pretty urgent when you have an abandoned starving kitten.3rd time I bought formula for pregnant, sick or old cats, still no KMR specifically for newborn kittens. Please carry both, also inform your workers there's a difference in the two items. KMR and PetLac are not the same, they provide different nutrients.

Went there to buy fish ! First and foremost the girls there didn't even come back to assist I had to ask is there anyone working and the girl finally came to assist there was a debate on the fish and which tank it was supposed to be in REALLY !!

You won't sell people specific fish because "they can't live with other fish" or "you need a bigger tank" but yall are keeping those same fish in tiny cubes overcrowded so that makes zero sense. I'd educate your staff more on being hypocritical when your whole store wall is full of overcrowded too small tanks. I have a 30 gallon tank and I didn't appreciate that attitude of your store associate on disregarding my own knowledge about the fish I was purchasing.

Very friendly staff of groomers. It was my 5 month old puppies first time of getting his hair cut and the groomer was very patient with my puppy and his nervousness. I'll definitely will be coming back again.

Didn't have the food I came in for but the woman that helped me was very helpful and directed me to a great food brand! (I have a puppy so it wasn't a switch of food). Pup loves it and I'm happy with my choice. Thankful for the information she provided me with on dog food and dog flea care.

We brought our very sweet, and energetic pup to be groomed today. Tiffany did an UH-MAZING job on our sweet boy! He had had a LOT of fun rolling around, and running in tall grass, that matted his hair badly, and he had to have a lot of work done. Tiffany was so sweet with him, so patient, and so gentle. Our pup came out looking like a new boy, and it was clear that he had a wonderful time with her. We will absolutely return!! And, we wholeheartedly recommend Tiffany to anyone!

We had brought back a fish that died just a week after we bought it .. the lady was very rude and refused to sell us another fish said my 20 gallon tank was too small ..we have other coins and have kept them for over 11 years now .. the lady was very rude and argued with my daughter refusing to sell her another fish ..we will never deal with pet smart again ...

Great people working here! They are so concerned for your pet. My dog usually enjoys riding in the cart, but last week she unexpectedly jumped out & skinned her chin on the way into the store. I saw blood & thought she had hurt herself badly. One of the girls hurried to get a wet paper towel for me & looked at my dogs chin. I was so relieved that it was not serious. I highly recommend this store for your pet's needs.

Purchased two of the 25-30 ct LIVE crickets because my bearded dragon will not eat dead ones. Received over 25 DEAD. Packaging was poor and included “food” that is toxic to crickets🤦🏽‍♀️
