Don't even know where to start, can't say enough great things about this aquarium store.First off, I had a couple of issues that I could not figure out even with the help of every other local fish store in the area, and then I stumbled upon Poseidon By accident just driving by one day. Easily, the most beneficial decision I've ever made for myself in the Hobby.The first person to ask if I needed help was (Not to my knowledge at the time) The owner, Nick. There's just certain people in this industry/Hobby that have a "blue thumb" And all the issues that I couldn't get resolved/get solid solutions, or answers to after bringing multiple water samples and describing my issues to other places...Nick figured it out instantly.. I didn't know that at the time, of course, but within two weeks, my tank completely turned around. And I'm growing a LOT of Acropora primarily Which is notoriously stubborn to keep.Also, There is not a single other store unless you go to Orlando that has the quality SPS pieces and really breathtaking miniature to FULL colonies of Acropora and other specialty SPS. And his prices are unmatched, and I have checked around.Finally, all The employees he keeps at the store are super knowledgeable and cool, even impressing myself being in the Hobby for over 20 years Both for fun and professionally. Jet and Justin those guys rock. (They all do, but I just happen to see them the most).But it just isn't for the advanced Aquarist, They have everything in there for every level of hobbyist. Anyway, that is all I've been meaning to leave a great review for these guys for a while they really deserve it.

Fair priced and staff is friendly and helpful. I like their selection, but they often have sick fish. I don't believe they treat their fish.

SUPER thanks to Nick & the Poseidon staff! Their customer service was thorough from start to finish! A few examples would be them continuously checking in/ on my progress & staying 1.5 hrs after closing. They have the widest & most well priced selection I’ve seen in 10 yrs & multiple states! The only slight downside was some of the tanks & fish needed a little TLC; however, I’m fairly certain that is due to lack of staff. A decision I’ve struggled with for 10 yrs was made comfortable & simple thanks to them! Poseidon Aquarium is my kind of small business!

Went to store to get a few things for a tank. Sales people where more interested in talking and playing around then to help a customer not the first time this has happened at this store. Always rude when u go in. Will be driving to Palm Coast for now on.

My favorite aquarium store! They have a great selection of freshwater and saltwater fish, supplies, and more. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have to drive an hour just to get there, but it's definitely worth it.

Definitely a different experience from my first time. Owner was present and very friendly. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Gave some very helpful advice for my mom's very hard to maintain tank.Very good selection of fish and products.Will most definitely go back for other fish needs. Has more staff for quicker help

I’ve been frequenting this store almost weekly for a few months now. They have great people working there, and a large selection of products. Unfortunately I will no longer be purchasing anything from this store.4/15 times that I’ve been to this store, I’ve seen sick/dead fish. I purchased a fish that was not eating and turned out he had ich and other bacterial infections. I even mentioned to one of the staff that one fish I pointed out may have ich.One week later, I went to check in on that fish and found him on the brink of death or dead. It’s 2pm as I write this and the store has been open for hours and the fish is still wasting away. Even if by a miracle this fish is alive, for this reason I will not be returning. I cannot support a business that does not care properly for their fish.

Nicely appointed shop, full line of everything you need for salt or freshwater fish. Not cheap! Bring a healthy wallet because you will leave w something! Areas best selection of cichlids in my opinion.

Amazing place to go if you're looking for some aquarium supplies and fishes! They have a great selection of aquatics such as freshwater fishes and saltwater fishes. They are open to questions and will recommend the right thing for you if you're starting out with your aquarium hobbying. Overall, great place to go to!

Great selection, but they have a lot of dead fish in the tanks every time I go in. I tried to purchase a Foxface that was for sale, but they asked if I could pick a different fish because they didnt want to try catching him out of the tank he was currently in. It's clear the owners lost the passion for the hobby, and its sad the animals have to suffer for it. Have been purchasing all my fish online through liveaquaria and havent looked back.

This is my go to place to buy fish, supplies, RO water, treatments, plants, rocks, food and anything else that I might need for my freshwater aquariums. No need to quarantine to fish when you get them. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My only wish is that they had someone who could update and maintain their website because it doesn’t do them justice.

I cannot speak for the livestock aspect but as far as customer service goes I have nothing but good experiences. I’m relatively new to the salt water hobby and each time they have been patient and more than helpful with my questions. I know tire kickers aren’t the best customers to deal with but they didn’t give me any feeling of not wanting to help me while I was gathering info for my tank build. He took the time to explain and show me each and every piece I would need. That speaks volumes to me. These other reviews about customer service are confusing to me as I have not witnessed any of the behaviors they mentioned.

This is nothing personal against Nick, he’s a great guy.. but, if you’re looking for coral just beware that most will come baring little hitchhikers called aiptasia. Otherwise great priced, beautiful and vibrant. Bought plenty of inverts and fish and would go back for those.

If you want sick fish this place is for you! Every fish I have gotten carried ich amongs other things. Every ghost shrimp I bought had horse hair worms, which I should have know not to get since 85% of the ghost shrimp were dead at the bottom of the tank. You can see multiple sick fish in almost every tank as you walk around. Friendly staff, sad fish.

Just bought and aquarium and a stand from this place, the owner asked me if I wanted the top to the aquarium. I said I would, he said he would have to order it in. He told me to call back in a couple of weeks. So I did, and to find out I have to pay for the lid now. You would think it would come with the tank I just bought. I don't like bad business like this I will not be supporting this store anymore.
