In setting up a new tank, after getting the chemistry correct, we needed to stock the tanks. We used this store for their really good prices on fish. The selection, while limited, is priced right and the fish are healthy & kept in well maintained tanks. The guppies are breeding and the tiger barbs are producing fertilized eggs! Thanks to Pet Supermarket for the quality of their fish.

I placed an order for pickup at Pet Supermarket, 1235 Providence BlvdDeltona, FI. I received an email stating my order was ready. A few hours later 1 placed a second order. To give the store time to process the second order, I waited a few hours later to pick both orders at the same time. So when I went to the front desk to pick up my order, I told the associate I was there to pick up an order for (my name). I immediately told the clerk I should have 2 orders. With my orders in hand, I was asked to identify the purchase.Without a blink of an eye I said 2 bags of pill pockets and a bottle of dog aspirin for pain. My response was precise for a very simple order of 3 items in 2 separate orders in 2 separate bags exactly as I ordered. Before handing me my perfectly described order, the associate asked for my ID! Wow!Seriously? I told the clerk it was in my car. She said I have to have it. Wow! As if a thief would come in somehow knowing an order was placed in my name, paid for an order in my name, and then precisely identified the contents..but yet, I need to show my DL before I can get my purchase.I have NOT been inside a store in 3 years. Everything I buy is ordered online, delivered or pickup/curb service. This is the first time in 3 years I have been asked to provide my ID. Actually I have never been asked to identify the contents of a pickup order. After saying all this, I want to express my concern for 2 reasons. First, if this is the policy of Pet Supermarket, it needs to be revisited. Secondly, I truly hope I was not put under such scrutiny because of any profile targeting or discriminatory reason. My rating is based on this experience and/or policy.

I went into the store and was greeted by a Young lady, then I walked to the back of the store and there was a lady there doing stock. I went into the fish department because I’m looking for Aveda and they had a really big selection which I was very happy about!!! The young lady then asked if I needed any assistance and I was telling her that I was starting a new beta tank, so she went and got me a shopping cart and we got a new beta tank, a beta and other accessories for the tank, to my surprise it was the store manager, her name was Millie, I was super surprised to see that a store manager would take the time to help me in the store , I would definitely go back because of the great experience I had with the store manager and the young lady at the register Sara. Thank you to pet supermarket.

This was my first time going into the store a couple days ago and Milagros one of the employees was so helpful. She helped me select what food I should get for my dogs & she was very knowledgeable when it came to wanting to buy fish. She explained what fish were best kept staying together & helped me select what fish tank and filter is best for those fish. Would go back 100 times maybe even 1000. Great experience! Please come here for great customer service !

The Seresto collar I bought for my cat was counterfeit because he still has fleas! I called the store and I was told I could exchange it for another one. I stuck it out and waited to see if they would subside and they did. I thought it was nice of them to at least offer to replace the collar.

My first time shopping at this location and I was so pleased. I spoke with Shannon about my fish tank and she was so patient and answered ALL my questions. I am treating my tank with the right products now and I will be back within a week so she can retest the water. Thank you Shannon. She is a great asset to your company.

Very nice store to shop for your pet needs. My visit today 5/5/22 was a positive experience, I went in to make an exchange when I purchased the wrong food for my bearded dragon and she was super cool, polite and understanding. She took care of my concern with no problems. Definitely recommend this pet shop and the manager Definitely deserves a raise for being so positive and professional.

I called at what turned out to be a very busy time and a young woman who's name I believe was Morgan assured me that my multiple in depth questions about becoming a rabbit owner were no bother at all, despite the flurry of scanning I could hear in the background. I was really impressed felt just as important as a customer in-store, which is very rare. When I arrived, they could already tell it was me! The manager, Mari? And the young lady had assembled me a cart with absolutely everything I needed to walk out the door with my new friends and no worries that I had overlooked something! Absolutely stellar experience. Most pet stores have friendly people, but this was truly next level.

Very disappointed today when I went in to return a cat window sill bed. The lady said that I could not return, even with my receipt because it was a discount item. I did not know this when I bought it and it was $40. I spend hundreds of dollars in this store when I could easily go to Walmart, Tractor supply or anywhere else. They are always friendly when I come here but I think it’s sad when you spend this much money somewhere and she even remembered me purchasing it and still wouldn’t even let me exchange for something else. I was going to buy several dog treats, bones, dog food and a new collar for a dog I just adapted but now I will go somewhere else.

I want to start by saying that the Pet Supermarket in Deltona is awesome. Cajun the employee that works there is so very helpful, friendly and very detailed when explaining to me about the caring of beta fish. Cajun took his time explaining and I can tell he was doing his best making sure me as the customer I'm satisfied with products I purchase for my fish. I hope Cajun gets recognized for the excellence of customer.service and service.

Went in looking for dog food. Spoke to Millie about my concerns and she recommended performatin and pumpkin, since changing might give dog tummy ache. I have been using it for 5 days and she loves it. Will most certainly be back again. Loved the customer service Millie provided that is something you don't see in many places today.
