No matter how many people are working here there is always a line to be waited in. But if you have a little bit of patience it is a great place to shop. If you're in a hurry check and see how many cars are in the parking lot if there's more than three or four they will probably be a line. If no cars you may be able to get in and out pretty quickly

I like Dollar General, you can find good deals here. You can purchase food items, shelf and refrigerated/freezer foods. Their biggest downside is the lines. You will almost always wait in line. Only one register.

Always an awesome and smiling staff greeting u and more than willing to assist in any way at least in my experience at this store I've never had any issues at all ever here. I've actually seen and complimented more employees at this particular store on how willing and eager to go above and beyond customer service, them always greeting and smiling and being very polite, and them doing their job in general and at a quick pace while under pressure even and still being able to maintain politeness, smiles, and great service

Personally I think all Dollar Generals should be designed after this one. The parking lot is the best I've ever seen it's big it's huge spaces have plenty of room. The bathrooms are always clean even when they're putting stock away things are in order and you can get down the aisles. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is the nicest Dollar General I've never been to. I recommend that if you're in the area to stop at this Dollar General.

Everything is less expensive then other stores such as Wal-Mart and Hitchcock's and you can get very many Dixie rocks there too!😁

It would be quicker for me to drive to Cross City and back home. Always long lines with 2-3 employees putting stuff on shelves. But the cute part is the 2-3 others seen to enjoy watching people who have business to take care of stand in lined that will at times stretch halfway through the store. But finally they call for help, wait wait to late the line only has 4 people left.

What a friendly cashier! She came out to find me after I'd walked off without one of my bags. Such a friendly atmosphere even with a bit of a line because there were lots of shoppers.

I've almost always had a good experience when I shop at DG. Great prices when you use digital & printed coupons. I warn you don't ask about penny shopping they get nasty. But other then that great place to shop!

Struggled to even give them 2 stars. For the most part, employees seem lazy. The aisles are always stacked with merchandise that needs to be put on the shelves. They will open only 1 register no matter how many customers are standing in line. Poor customer service, dirty store & ladies room!

After standing in line for 5+ minuites I was told I had to got to the other line that was 6 people deep because the cashier who was in my line said she had stuff to go do. Sense when does "stuff" come before customers?? She had brown hair with a red streak in it. You should avoid this store if she's there. It's always busy and takes a while but turning people away that have been in your line for several minuites is not only rude but it caused me to walk out without what I needed! I'll be going to another store from now on! I find if the manager is not on site the store lacks in customer service!

This store is awful! To much clutter, isle ways are always blocked with product storage carts, staff is lazy, rude, I recommend going to the new dollar genral up 349 by trading post, its clean, no blocked isle ways, manager is very attentive to your needs, and as I see the distribution trucks come in the staff is quick to get the items out on the sheves.

OMG a delite to shop there very sweet employees I hate going to the one on 349 that one makes shoppers feel like they are going to the principles office and you can't wait to get the hell out of the place. If you look around at the other shoppers they won't even make eye contact with one another for fear you might keep them there a little longer. I am serious. I would not normally answer one of these but the difference in the atmosphere between the two stores within 5 or less miles from one another I recommend going into Old Town to the Dollar General on us 19.they keep it stocked up on everything and don't mind you asking for help.

Check your receipt. They don't take off coupons at the register. Or they tell you they did but don't. Other DG stores in Chiefland and Cross city are better.

Store was very crowded with so much extra stuff. It's hard to get to anything on the shelves. None of the staff were wearing masks to protect customers from covid despite having signs on the door that reads face coverings required.

Could not find an item. An associate as if she could help me I told her what I was looking for and she walked me right to it and handed it to me. They are always busy and understaffed but she stopped what she was doing and was very helpful and pleasant.

This dollar store here has a lot more variety of things versus all of the other dollar stores in the area. When I'm in this particular location (passing through on my way to Cheifland or Gainesville) I make sure that I stop in to see what's new inside.

The lines are always sooooo long your in line longer than your in the store it gets to be agervating! I only go here if I have to ! I try to stop at any other dollars store other than this one ! To bad this is the closest one to my house 🤪we've lived here 3 years and it's always been this way .

Been to four different stores and none seem to stock the beer cooler. One employee told me he didn't know if he was supposed to. Lack of management.

I've never had any issues with the Dollar General in Old Town. There are only few times when they don't have what I'm looking for or are out of stock on an item I need.

They don't have everything , but they have specials, prices are good, and they are helpful. Just make sure you get the sale price. That's the only weakness. Good location :)
