Our boy Zeke LOVES it at Pet Paradise Odessa! This past weekend was his third stay here since we started six months ago. He loves going and making new friends, and I love that I can check in on him and see how happy he is. The staff is super friendly and so helpful. They always answer our questions professionally and make us feel comfortable leaving our boy while we are away.

Fabulous facility, staff is great & you can watch your furbaby, at anytime, using their app. I had a great experience with Odessa’s Pet Paradise facility & staff. It was the very 1st time I’ve ever boarded my fur baby, but it won’t be my last. I was very happy & totally satisfied with the entire team. 👏👏👏👏👏🐶

We leave our Eddie at Pet Paradise Odessa for 2 weeks and he does great. What I like is their professional care, attention to our dog’s particular needs and likes, and how happy he is with their careful handling and dog groups. He loves this place. The dogs are great and, oh yeah, the staff rock!

He was soooo happy to be there and made us happy to see him having fun. Only thing I would change if I could is letting the dogs be outside for more time even if it’s an hour inside and an hour outside cause my dog loves being outside and I could see he kept running to the door cause he wanted to go outside but also felt bad they kept picking up and loving other dogs and would just pet him but he wants to be cuddled too

Went to pick up my two dogs today. When I arrived, there was a guy in the 'pen' outside the building waiting to get inside to check-in his dog. He told me that his dog was aggressive to males and made it known that he preferred that I not try to go inside the building. After a few minutes, the guy eventually got his dog checked in and he departed.Once the guy left, I went inside to pick up my dogs. I asked about the guy that was just there and was told that they know his dog is aggressive to males and he has been coming for two years. I mentioned that there should have been an employee advising customers not to come in because of the aggressive dog, but they did not agree with me. Additionally, I asked about the male employees working there and was told essentially, that they make sure that they don't work with the dog and that only the female employees do.I have been using Pet Paradise since 2018 to board my dogs, between both the Wesley Chapel and Odessa locations, and had no idea that they boarded aggressive dogs. This is a safety concern for me and bottom line - I will be looking elsewhere to board my dogs in the future.Generally speaking, I don't think it's a good idea to board aggressive dogs but if they are boarded, I would suggest that -1) the owner be required to have a muzzle on the dog and that it be kept on a short leash and under control of the owner at all times.2) that the employees do not allow the dog to come in through the front entrance, but around the back; but if they do decide to allow the dog to enter through the front entrance, that an employee should be advising customers to please wait to enter until after they check-in the aggressive dog.

My heart is completely broken. We have been using Pet Paradise for over 2 years now, and unfortunately we will not be back. My dog was attacked by another dog and ended up needing stitches and part of his ear cut off. I was called saying my dog was bit and they didn’t know what happened, then tried to blame his brother, then tried to tell me a different story of mounting, and now finally we are getting told my dog booped another dog and the dog bit him to correct his behavior. Not sure which story to believe as so many were told and EVERY time we have tried to ask questions the Manager Kat is conveniently not there or is working on paperwork and can’t come to the phone. My husband even set up an appointment with her to view the footage and she was gone for the day. Pet Paradise transported my dog to the hospital, then stuck us with the bill with ZERO explanation!

Very disappointed but happy I did a test run before actually boarding my dog before I go out of town. We are regulars at the Mutt Meetup and will not be switching to Pet Paradise. Very over-priced. When I pay to board my dog, I expect him to have ample play time with other dogs, you have to pay separately for play time which is almost as much as the boarding fee. My dog came home smelling like urine, with urine and feces crusted on him, did not see him outside one single time today. Unbelievable that there are many locations with this poor service.

My dogs are always happy to arrive at Pet Paradise in Odessa, and always happy to come home for a nice long nap. They love Pet paradise and I’m confident they are well taken care of there. I love seeing them play on the video cams during playtime.

We have boarded our dog, Copper, with Pet Paradise for years, since we first adopted him. He is an over-all young, healthy 4-year-old dog. His most recent stay was for a week in March while we were out of the country for our anniversary. When we brought Copper home at the end of his boarding stay, we checked him over and found an infected wound under his arm. It was large, red, with pus coming out of it. I made an appointment to get him into his vet the next morning. The vet agreed it had been there multiple days to get to that point, meaning no one at Pet Paradise had noticed an infected wound on my dog with pus oozing out of it. The vet started him on antibiotics, pain medicine, and anti-inflammatories. It spread to a UTI (more medicines), and all of the medicines Copper was now on led to upset stomach and diarrhea (more medicines) for weeks. All of this snowballed over the weeks into sedated biopsies, stitches, medicine changes when the infection wasn’t clearing up, no walks, no playing, no jumping, a cone. The Vet bills have totaled over $2,000. Had his infection been caught early on, it could have been treated immediately and never gotten to this point. I am not angry that my dog got an infection at boarding. I am angry no one was taking care of my dog to notice he had an infection. Pet Paradise shared with me it is their policy to check over each dog each day after play time to catch any injuries or new scratches, etc. They also shared with me they have recently switched to a new cleaning chemical to clean out the kennels that are causing skin reactions in some of the dogs and that some managers are recommending to Corporate to stop using this chemical cleaner, but Corporate has not agreed as of now. My husband and I were informed Corporate would only refund us about $200 after all of this, 10% of our vet bills. Their reason being: we did not have Copper treated by a Pet Paradise Vet. We had been in contact with Pet Paradise for weeks through this process, and never once was it advised to bring Copper to one of their vets. Not to mention, Copper stayed at Pet Paradise Odessa – which closed their Veterinary office before Copper’s stay. We would have loved for Copper to be treated before we ever got home, but no one on site noticed anything was wrong, and there is no longer a vet onsite.  When we first signed Copper up for boarding with Pet Paradise, we signed permission for him to be treated by a vet in the event he should need treatment for anything while we are out of town. This understanding gave us peace of mind that he was well-cared-for in their boarding facility. We have cancelled Copper’s Summer stay, and could not bring ourselves to leave him there in the future, knowing their Corporate offices have no regard for the dogs in their care. Copper is doing better now, thanks to the ongoing problem solving of our wonderful vet, and no thanks to Pet Paradise.

On a previous review management claimed they would be contacting us to rectify the situation that happened when our dog was in their care. That was clearly just a tactic to brush off our issue, help their company, and discredit our review and complaint. They have made no attempts to contact us to discuss anything further. Management at this location is unqualified and untrustworthy. I would never bring my animals here again and haven't since. Poor business practice and lack of care and empathy for their customers and safety of their pets.

I have used pet Paradise before, and I’m not sure if it’s new staff or what but I will not be back. I boarded 2 dogs, a Dalmatian and a golden retriever for 5 days, the first aggression is bagging the food- but that’s not my concern, my concern is they left my golden wet which resulted in a huge hot spot. I received 2 phone calls during my trip to tell me my dal had gotten red spots on his head but never did they mention the hot spot on my golden… now 2 prescriptions and a wipe to get the infection to calm down, pet paradise is on the expensive side of boarding and this should have never happened

This place is amazing! They offer everything from boarding to full day and half days for day camp and grooming! As well as sweet treats like ice cream too! Soon we will have vet services as well as a place to play! So if you are looking for a brand new state of the art facility this is the place to go! You will not be disappointed! We make sure not only that our fur babies are happy but our pet parents as well! Come on in and take a tour and meet your soon to be extended family, you will not be disappointed nor will your fur babies! After a day of play they will be exhausted!

Back in August I booked an appointment for today to guarantee my pre-Christmas grooming appointment for our puppy. Came in today and they said they didn’t have me on their schedule. Told them that I booked this a while ago and asked if I could get in another time today or sometime this week and they said they were fully booked and unable to help me. They have also had kennel cough for several months now! Not too impressed with their customer service, we will not be coming back here.

Odessa Pet Paradise is the go to place for daycare and boarding. We took advantage of their meet and greet day to try i t out. The facility is clean and the staff is super friendly. Willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. My furbaby seemed to enjoy himself and they took great care of him. We definitely will return and try their boarding. I highly recommend Pet Paradise in Odessa.

Really bad experience here. Made a grooming appointment over a month ago and just received a note that it had got cancelled 2 days prior. The groomer had an emergency and no one knows when they will be back. I really had high expectations but it’s frustrating since it’s not easy to find grooming appointments closer to the date.

I recently boarded my dog here and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. When I picked my dog up, he was happy. I could tell he was well taken care of and that staff spent time with him while he stayed. Very happy we gave them a try, we will definitely be back.

One of the hardest parts about traveling is leaving my babies! Thankfully, I can leave with comfort knowing my dogs are taken care of at Pet Paradise Odessa! The location is clean, the staff is friendly, and my dogs love it. I utilize their app for the cameras while I am away. I love being able to watch them play and also receive love from the staff! I also tried their grooming services for the first time today and they did a phenomenal job.

If I could give all the stars in the sky I would. I went on vacation and left my puppy for the first time in the hands of others. To say my puppy is a handful is an understatement. He was never around other dogs and he was what I thought was non dog friendly. He was also super nervous with other people. The people here were amazing. I would get a report card with pictures of my puppy playing with other dogs and having the best time ever! I would see the employees giving my puppy all the love and attention he would have received at home. His room was amazing and I loved that I could check in on the camera at any time. The manager is amazing and so is everyone there! I would never use another place. Thank you Pet Paradise for the best visit and worry free vacation!!

I brought my dog here for the weekend. It was her first time. It seemed like she had a great time because she was extra sleepy when we got home. They kept great communication with us about any issues. The facility is beautiful and well taken care of. I would recommend if anyone is looking for boarding or daycare for their pup!
