I rented a U-Haul truck from this business a few weeks ago. Though I've driven by this store at least once a week for years, until I needed to rent a van I had never bothered to stop in & check it out.Renting U-Hauls is only one half of this business, the other half is a retail store, basically an interesting mish-mash of new & used merchandise, an "old school" general merchandise store for those of you old enough to remember them. The owner might buy your flat screen TV, slightly used laptop/desktop computer, stereo system or cell phone you want get rid of 'cause you want a new model, gently used furniture, antiques....all kinds of stuff really. Plus they've got a lot of new merchandise, too. The store is a wild variety of merchandise--a little bit of this and a little bit of that--but unlike a lot of stores of this type, it's actually kept clean and fairly well organized.Anyway, the owner was super friendly, and when the 16' van we made a reservation for wasn't available, he upgraded us to a 20' van for the same price. The van was practically brand new & kind of cool to drive!If you're in the area, definitely stop by and take a look, the owner(s) (husband & wife) probably have something for sale at a reasonable price you didn't even know you needed! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!!
