I took my dog to be spayed. The staff did a great job of explaining what I needed to do before surgery. The staff were very friendly and answered my questions. They trimmed my dog's nails as well which I really appreciated because I had lost the nail trimmers at home and was waiting for my check to purchase a new pair because I am on a really tight budget. They also provided very clear instructions on what I needed to do post surgery. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Yes I have made cancellations most of them were canceled online because this place is so far out and just like anyone else I have transportation problems occasionally but great prices affordable helps a lot of people when you have pets for sure but then I asked for some help with food because I need it at the moment and I got no response earthquake they didn't even want to help and they do advertise they will do this for people if in need I asked for some assistance to get my pet fixed and then all she did was pretty much degrade me gave me as she was giving me a hard time I felt degraded ashamed that I was even asked so I felt well if you're not going to help me when I'm asking all my pets are taken care of very well I had all their shots and feed them very well and the one time I do need help and ask I was treated very disrespectful degraded I will survive without having to be look down on I love animals and I have taken my animals here before so I do know personally this place is awesome place and very affordable I just happened to speak with the wrong person

So I usually don't leave negative Google reviews, with that being said I went on their website and found a kitty that I thought would be perfect for my little family (Colby Cheese) the adoption process seemed easy enough, They asked me a bunch of personal information all the way down to my Driver license number, Looked up the address to my house to see if I owned it, Told me Under no circumstances am I allowed to let the cat outside because he has been inside his entire life, The cat has only been alive for 7 months and sometimes kitties like to go outside and sun bathe so I answered honestly on the application that the kitty (if he felt like it) could definitely go outside. I volunteered at the Gainesville Humane society for a whole year working in the Cat room with all cats every Monday-Friday when I was in highschool, The lady insisted that because I did not have a lease for my home ( because my parents own the property and I don't need one) that I would need to show her proof that I was allowed to have animals in my own home that I have lived in 10+ years. Then stated that I could be lying about my residence to get the cat and "do what I want with it" because Many people do. Overall the conversation I had with the lady on the phone was very unsettling and it felt like I was being interrogated by the FBI all because I wanted a kitty for my Two little girls and I too spoil. Which we will still do it just obviously wont be from this place. All in all the experience was not a good one and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I love all animals and especially kitty cats and the whole situation made me feel like I was not good enough for them. I'm not sure why they need to go through such an in depth process but it makes me wonder if that's why they are so full to capacity the way they are? Beggars cant be choosers in my opinion. I hope that the Kitty Colby finds a good Home and Is able to see a little bit of Sunshine in his coming days.

Vocal is an awesome rescue! I met with Mimi at my greet and meet! She is so very knowledgeable, the Dog Whisperer! I have adopted a 5 month Jack Russell Terrier female, Poppy! I am picking her up today! All their dogs and cats are spayed, neutered, vaccines, they give you food, leash, collar, harness and I have Mimi's cell # and I can call here anytime if I have questions about training etc.! They need volunteers, so if you have a few extra hours and you are a dog lovet this is the place to be!❤️🐾🐶

I can't tell you how much joy adopting Bandit has brought to our home. We've always had two dogs but this was our first adoption. We loved him the minute he came to our home. He bonded with our two year old pit immediately, they are inseparable and he even loves the yorkie-poo, although he's still trying to figure out how to play with such a small toy like dog. At Christmas, my sons brought their dogs from CA and TX so we had six dogs living in the house for a couple weeks and he loved them all. My husband wants to adopt every dog he sees that needs a home now but three is enough for now, unfortunately. We will always adopt from now on. Bandit is very special. Couldn't pick just one pic so I'll show you many. Thank you to VOCAL for all you do.

Great and affordable pet care. Whether you have pets or your own or need to neuter/spay stray cats around your home, they do a great job and it won't break you financially. I was there October 2023 for cat neutering and the staff I encountered were friendly, outgoing, efficient and knowledgeable. My cats were ready sooner than promised and they all did really well after their procedures. I will definitely go back for further pet care needs. And if you're looking for an animal care facility to donate to I highly recommend VOCAL as the work they do for the community is wonderful and animal needs are greatly underfunded across the board in Marion County and we need places like this to thrive and continue to help the pet population in the Ocala and surrounding area. Thank you VOCAL from me and my furry family members!! ❤️🐾🐱💕

I first went to the location to donate some crates, toys, and food. They were welcoming and so grateful.There, I learned that not only do they have a rescue and adoption service but there is a vet to care for the animals. There are student volunteers and a large group of assistants.I didn’t see where the animals were kept but it was All so clean and well kept. I was so impressed!

I didn't have food to last until I got my ssi check and these people helped me to feed my dogs there so sweet and compassionate you do have to go on line to get help for your dogs but it is well worth it thank you vocal💯💕

I am extremely happy with VOCAL and the services they provide. Our dog got neutered on June 9, and everything went exceptionally well. The convenience of scheduling the appointment, filling out the forms, and paying a small deposit to secure the date online was a big plus for me.The pre and post-op instructions were clear, and the office staff was very professional and caring. Shortly after surgery, I reached out to the office via email with a question/concern, and they replied promptly and professionally to my inquiry. Thank you, Kayla! 🌟🙌My baby is now fully recovered and happy. I recommend this organization 100%.

Got one of our dog’s neutered here. Drop off process was quick and simple.Always arrive early. We were first in, and first out.Only issue was with the people coming in. For those considering services: Please make sure you keep your dogs away from other dogs if possible. Give some space. Wait for the person in front of you to finish up the drop-off and the pet is taken in back or moved off to the side before entering if you have a nosey/unfriendly dog, or a cat in a crate who is nervous.Had a very sweet little dog also getting neutered that was almost attacked by some little rat dog after they came in (when I was on my way out, by my legs). Thought I’d hold the door to be nice. Not cool. Owner’s issue.Clean facility, very fair pricing, and friendly staff. Great experience. Our last pet to fix, but will recommend to others! 10/10.

They are the best low cost spay and neuter, chip and shots. You need to make an appointment online. They also provide some food for rescued and adopted fur babies. Staff is amazing! Thank you vocal!

Very nice folks!The veterinarian was and is very good with my blind cat that can be hard to deal with because she really doesn't understand the world the same way a sighted cat dose.The bottom line hear is the cat wasn't traumatized and was happy as I was expecting her to be extremely unhappy and nervous about the visit to the veterinarian.Bottom line is I saved some money and my cat was happy so I'm happy with the results at the end of the day.I would highly recommend this veterinarian and the staff members are great!

We reached out after our cat had kittens and we needed assistance in getting them all spayed/neutered. We decided to take on keeping and raising all of the kittens ourselves, so any help we could get was welcomed. I spoke with the most kind and informative woman (Leah) who assisted me every step of the way. Not only did she get all of the kittens and their mama in for appointments within the same month, but she did so at a price that we could afford. Even if we could have afforded nothing, they would have helped all the same, as they truly care about the animals well-being and appreciate when people make every effort to keep them. She also went above and beyond by telling us to sign up for their FEED program to ensure they would always have as much food as they need, which helps us greatly as we already have other fur babies on top of the new additions. Best experience all around. Highly recommend reaching out to them, whether you're struggling or simply just want quality care from people who genuinely love what they do.

I took a kitten in for neuter and he died.DO NOT STOP READING.Ok, yes my animal died but no one could have known he would be allergic to the anesthesia. I am still rating this place highly due to the extremely professional and empathetic the staff was when I picked up his body.

The best place to take your cat or dog. We have ferrell cats, and the cost is way better than any other place by far. Go to their website and fill out the paperwork for your fur baby, give a deposit which count as part of payment, non refundable. Just in case you don't make your appointment and you didn't cancel. Staff is very friendly, kind, and happy to help your fur baby. 5 stars all the way.

Good people, Good place. But if you wanna adopt be prepared to see other dogs that is not the dog that you travel there to see. Especially if you driving more that 30min first make sure they are actually going to show you the dog that you are trying to adopt because if not you basically are going to waste time. i went there and didn’t see the dog that i wanted to see so.

They are amazing they have helped me so much. We found 8 cats by the road and Vocal helped us spay and neuter them. They got their shots and everything at no cost. We did donate to them for what they do for all animals🙏💗. We still have the cats but have found a loving home for one of them so far. But Vocal are amazing people that do amazing work. I'm also applying to volunteer there to help in any way I can.

They were very friendly and responsive to my questions thru email. They were thorough and affordable when I took our new and first-ever cat to be neutered and vaccinated. Afterward when I was concerned and emailed photos they brought us back in for a recheck free of charge.We saw they have doggies and kitties that they adopt out at times and their little areas were well kept. You can tell they love animals :)
