Amazing vet— every time I’ve been there the whole staff is friendly and understanding. It’s a very non-judgmental environment and they give you options of what to do for your pet. Their prices are good too. Everyone is great with animals and my nervous nelly German shepherd made lots of friends in our visit. They also care for my papillon and have cleaned his teeth for a very reasonable fee.

Today was our first visit, but won't be our last. The tech and Dr. Johnson were extremely kind and helpful. All my questions were answered and they didn't speak down to me. They are very friendly and reasonably priced.

Too often I have been to a veterinarian office that is very discerning. But Silver Springs Animal hospital is wonderful. They treat your pet family as if they were their own. I have been so pleased with them and how knowledgeable the doctors and staff are. They explain everything to you, they don't just treat your pet and let you go. And the prices are very reasonable also.

We used to love Silver Springs Shores Animal hospital. They treated and took care of our animals for over a year and a half with no issues. We recommended them to everyone. This changed on two different dates. On 02/23/2024 and 03/07/2024. On 02/23/2024 we called as our two year old boy cat was in pain and had blood in his urine. They couldn't see him and recommended another vet that I will not name here. That vet misdiagnosised our cat with a UTI which could of caused our cat to pass away.On 03/07/2024 is the real issue. Our cat was there for a follow up but started to not feel good 18 or so hours before. I take him in, they say he has a blockage and he needs surgery. They will not touch him or do anything for him without a 1000 dollar deductible. They wouldn't take partial payment and basically treated it as a business transaction. This was part of almost two thousand dollar quote. On top of that, the vet said we may do all of this and the damage maybe too much and we will have to put him down anyways. No compassion, no sympathy for any of it.We paid it as he is our family. This was on a Thursday. They would not release him on Saturday until 11am with no flexibility. They did not care of any scheduling conflicts and they close at noon. The vet didn't come in until 11:45 am to discuss the plan moving forward.On top of it, our cat now has to be on a special diet, which we did not know we need a prescription for to purchase anywhere but from them. They didn't tell us. They didn't give us the prescription.Our cat is worth all of this and more, but they lost us as clients and we will never recommend this office again. I wouldn't want anyone else to feel so belittled and terrible.I tried to speak to the manager and mention how this all felt and she said she would just try to be in the rooms more but basically did not care. She showed that. I get it, they are a business first and a animal hospital second, but this is not a place to go to if you do not have thousands of dollars to drop on an emergency.EDIT: In response of Silver Springs Shores Animal Hospital.Scratchpay's offer was for 900 dollars with 42 payments weekly for 121 dollars a week. That would be over 5000 dollars.You also charged us for the food and did not inform us our cat would need a prescription that was not provided.You addressed his medical concern in your reply, a payment option that was predatory and the food that we needed a prescription for. Similar to when I brought this up the manager, it makes it seem like no one cares about how we were treated. I am greatly disappointed in all of this.

We've been taking our Daisy there for the past few years and have never had anything negative to say. Our Daisy is a Shiba Inu and to say she is difficult at the vet would be an understatement. SSSAH has always found a way to work around our dog's issues. Today was an experience that exceeded all of the rest. We were able to get the most comprehensive exam on our Daisy to date and I believe that it can be attributed to our vet tech Cheyenne and the veterinarian Dr. Berg. They were both extremely patient in dealing with our little girl and we will try to get the same team the next time we have to bring Daisy there.

I would advise nobody to bring their cats to this office . We took our cat there to have his teeth cleaned and now he's got hypothermia in large heart. We bring it back to them two days after they clean the teeth and tell us the cat's fine. 4 days later now the cats got hypothermia and enlarged heart. Please do not take your cat to this place or any animal if you love your animal

We just moved here a few months ago from Texas and started bringing our dogs here for their initial and annual checkups. These guys are absolutely awesome. They're very friendly and they truly treat you like family. My dog was really scared, as she is of the vet, and they went above and beyond and out of their way to make her more comfortable. They acted like they've known my dog for years. Thanks guys for making us truly feel welcome.

Our visit went as well as it could. Hank our shepherd had an ear infection, and he wasn't happy abt it. The staff were patient and got the meds in. It was pretty impressive.

I absolutely love the staff at Silver Springs Shores Animal Hospital. They've taken care of both of our boys since they were kittens. Without them, I would have lost my cat Percival last year due to a bladder infection. I honestly wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. They make you feel like part of the family and even if you haven't been there in years, they still remember you and your pets like you were there yesterday.

I cannot stress enough how much I love the staff, the doctors, and the loving concern they have on my pets I've taken, and will continue taking there. The head nurse is the main reason I (14 years later) continue to take my babies. She has the most beautiful personality as she talks and attends to my scared little pups. The Male Doctor that has been there since day 1 of my arrival is honest, caring, and sincere with his care and advice. Some staff has gone and new ones arrive, but they all have displayed beautiful heart warming welcomes to my babies and myself. My babies and I never feel unwelcomed and the staff has always given their devoted attention to us each and every time. I love that little blue building and the warm hearts that work there.Thank you very much to the staff for being amazing humans to myself, and my scared little four legged babies. I appreciate you all!

Keke was very vocal about her trip when we got home. She was talking about how she met a wonderful woman named Dr. Lauren Dietter and her awesome assistant Xavier Santiago. They were so kind to Keke, and gave her medicine to make her feel better. She says they definitely deserve 5 stars.And as her mom, I totally agree. They not only treated my girl with love and kindness, they were very reasonably priced .You need to check them out !

THE WORST VET CLINIC IN TOWN. My dog was attached by 2 dogs on 1/27. My husband and I in panic didn’t know where to go the closest vet clinic to r house was this one. They took my dog they charged us $316.71 for examination, oxigen 1/2 hour…(we were in the clinic for less than 30 min) they had no idea what they mean with the examination bc my dog had wounds in both legs and one ear and chest was full of blood. They told us they COULD NOT DO ANYTHING for him and take him to UF in Gainsville (after they charged me $316.71) one of the employees was rushing to take care of the bill. A real vet who actually cared about the animals could see how injured my dog was, how many wounds he has she shaved him cleaned and gave me medication for him, now my dog is walking and fine. They don’t care about animals this is a place just for business.

Abby at the front desk is great. They took beautiful care of my babies when they needed surgeries. One of my dogs had a mast cell tumor removed and it was a big incision. When I first saw him I thought he’d look different after it healed, but the more it heals, it looks great!
