This store on Maricamp Rd. in the Shores is the best one around--cleaner, better stocked, nice staff (several have been here for years!) It fits in with the neighborhood shopping picture in that they have some things that aren't the same as the others (their Deluxe American cheese is better than anybody's store brand.) Every week they have some meat items on sale, and their own brands like Tipton Grove real OJ are things I usually take home. Their large canned soup varieties are good also. This particular store has pretty good produce--esp the yellow and zucchini squash. Their own brand of eggs also good and inexpensive. I like shopping at this Sav-a-Lot.

Very clean, well managed, great prices, and excellent customer service. Nice cushion between the awesome but often expensive Publix and the affordable Walmart. I love our neighbor Save-a-Lot and I pray people intentionally support it. Such options are what keeps our neighborhood 💪🏽

Been coming here for 4 yrs now two female cashiers Miranda and Shirley are sweet and welcoming always with a smile on their faces makes my shopping pleasant the store itself is always clean never cluttered restroom is also clean and stocked well. The isles r clean and clear the shelves are fully stocked and neat if I don’t find what I’m looking for it’s bcuz it wasn’t shipped into store or a seasonal item the manager is also a nice lady always working hard and helpful meat department is always stocked as well. SOME Pasta boxes I bought last month did have some bugs inside the box but I’m sure it had to come like that from distribution center not the store reason I give it four stars is bcuz they do need to open all the registers on busy days or hours. Other then that it’s a nice place to shop prices are ok depending on item.The people who work there now deserve a raise.

They have lots of products that are way cheaper than the Walmart. To bad more people don't shop there. Might not be fancy but I don't eat fancy.

Grocer staff in meats is friendly,knows how to point us to the frozen 10 lb leg quarters for 4.99 . Didn't realize it was on the 3 day weekend sale.

Good place for limited budget buyers, kinda warehouse setting/pick from open shipping box, good selection of offbrand and branded products, fresh produce and meats, been there several times all products were good, a lot of good brand name Latin products, facility a little dated, but clean. No bagging and quarter for carts.

I shop at this store occasionally, but the only safe bet is canned goods...provided it's not beyond the expiration date. As soon as I walked in yesterday, the smell of rotten potatoes was overwhelming. I have purchased "fresh" meat here before, but yesterday almost all of it was dark and was not good. I saw several people look at the meat and walk away without selecting anything.

I initially avoided the Save-a-Lot, but I now enjoy shopping there. The selection is a tad limited, but the prices are good. I find ice cream to be as good as the name brands as are the cerials. Bring your own bags or boxes for carrying items to your vehicle.

Good price! I will recommend some hand sanitizer near the meat area that way after handling them one can clean the hands and keep shopping. Overall a good place to do groceries shopping.

This place is so nasty. There meat is so bad. Steak bones were green and brown. Pork chops were brown. I would not recommend anyone to shop here. I know it's cheaper than other grocery stores but you pay for what you get.

Getting cleaned up a bit more now. Produce is a challenge here on some days, as it ages and they leave it in the bins too long. Decent meats and dairy. Canned goods are a good buy..

I like this place but all Save-A-Lot aren't owned by the same person but they all have great prices good meats and the one up in Chiefland Florida seems to specialize in more better Quality Meats that I've seen in some Save-A-Lots but all in all a good store

Inexpensive and reasonably clean most of the time. Only two or three employees on a shift, so if you have a problem you have to hunt down someone to help you. Most times the people are happy to help. I have had one snippy cashier.

Save a lot of what? Not time because you'll spend more time in line then it took you to shop. They could have 5 people chit chating in stead of working while there is a line of 15 people with carts! Yet only 1 line open. I don't see what there saving on when most people will walk out empty handed then wait on there slow people!

I love Save A Lot❤ A butcher is on the premises from opening to closing. Their quality of meats and other products are the same, if not better than other supermarket chains. Thank you Save A Lot

Prices are going up, stopped selling my favorite peanut butter cookies and replaced it with another brand, they are so hard won't even get soft in hot coffee 😡😠😡

I just don't always feel like the store is updated, so it seems not as clean as I think a supermarket should be. Prices are good, but not enough to keep me going on a regular basis.

Evey single time i go in this specific savealot there is alwayse dead vegetables laying on the shelves with gnats flying around. They also leave expired sodas snacks & even milk on the shelf. Very discusted with this savealot.

Good price's but far to many privet labels and i prefer brand names, but if you are on a budget, it is a great store to shop in.very competitive price's on everything they sell.
