I wish I could give Red Fern and its staff more than five stars because this place is truly the best! Had to place our two pups there for an extended two-month board due to a family emergency and they’re having the best time! I can’t begin to put in words the peace of mind you feel as a paw-rent knowing your fur-babies are well cared for. Love the daily photos, videos, report cards too - so you can see them having so much fun & reading about their day. Red Fern also employs the best staff that genuinely love their job and the doggos entrusted into their care. They’re especially great at fulfilling dietary needs, dispensing meds, etc. Andrew, Emily, Savannah, Bryce, Ashley are some of the really great people there. I highly recommend Red Fern - our pups Beau and Lu are so happy and having the best time!

We have recently in the last 5 months started using Red Fern and could not be more Happy! Our shih tzu is seriously so happy and excited when we come to pick her up. She’s extremely excited when we drop her off to stay for a few days, that we’ve even decided to take her for daycare a few times. Their rates are affordable, the staff is SO friendly and you can tell the really love what they do and love your pets like their own. I never pictured bringing my dog to a pet lodge, but we’re so glad our friends recommended this place. I have no worries leaving Ellie behind while we’re on vacation. It’s one less thing to stress about while enjoying ourselves on our vacation knowing our pet is having the time of her life at Red Fern. Could Not recommend them more!

I live out of town. My job has me traveling mostly down south. I was searching for a doggie daycare for my fur baby where he could be dropped off before I go to work. During my search this place just was the best and I found myself returning to their website. I finally gave into myself and set up a meet and greet.I have not regretted anything. The staff are exceptional and really do love what they do! I thank you all, because when I drop him off I have no worries that he is not being loved and cared for.

Our pup Appa loves Red Fern. He especially loves pool time and group play! As well, grooming always does an amazing job, making sure he comes home looking and smelling his best! He has been enjoying his time there for the past 2 years and will continue to do so! Much love to the Red Fern family, they are the nicest and most caring around!

I seriously can't say enough good things about this place! We have boarded our dog here a couple times now and even have taken her for doggy daycare so she can play with other dogs for a bit. The staff is amazing, so friendly and always willing to answer any question you might have. They listen to concerns and seem to care about my furbaby almost as much as I do! I love that the more we bring our dog here they remember her by her name and seem happy to see her. I was anxious about boarding her and taking her to daycare because we had never done it before but I'm happy we found Red Fern. I also love that they send daily pictures so you can stay updated and see how your pup is doing.

I have been taking my pup to Red Fern for daycare while I am at work for almost a year now and have had such a great experience. Ever since day one, the staff has been so welcoming and willing to work one on one with her due to socialization issues. A few months ahead of a three week trip out of the country, we were introduced to Red Fern. We stopped by one Sunday just to see what the place looked like and were surprised to see it open and bustling with employees. (Our Vet offers boarding but one person comes in on a Sunday just to feed the dogs).Unannounced, Ashley offered to give us a quick tour and we met other employees, saw the facilities, and got to see a bunch of happy guest.Needless to say, that day we knew this was a night and day difference to boarding with our Vet.We took our pups for daycare a few times before the trip, just to get them acclimated to the place. By the third visit, they were all excited to be there. They absolutely love this place and so do we, AND WE’RE PICKIE WHEN IT COMES TO OUR PUPS.When it came time to board we used their daily photo service and received photos, each and every day, and even a couple of weekly report cards, a summary of how each did that week.Bottom line, I hope they don’t change a thing. This is a top notch place, offering services at reasonable prices. Best of all, they offered us peace of mind while we traveled.By the way, while boarding our youngest had her one year birthday. The Staff celebrated with her by giving her a special whip cream bowl!!Thank you Red Fern and Staff!

Absolutely fantastic place!! These people are dog lovers and they want to do the best for each animal in their care. Our yellow lab, Popcorn, practically begs to go on Fridays (which is typically when we have an opportunity to bring her for daycare). We’ve been using their services for doggie daycare, boarding, and grooming for about two years - before they even allowed our dog to stay we were required to come and visit the facility and see how everything operates for our own clarity and satisfaction - they were completely transparent - and so that they could see if our dog was a good fit for the services they provide. Twice Popcorn has had a minor injury which they attended to and called me immediately in an abundance of caution. They are friendly to each guest and have so much to offer - we have a will continue to recommend and use their services.

The staff is amazing! The handlers are very focused on your fur baby and the report out after day care is very thorough. Our dog didn't want to leave. We will continue to frequent them!

What a wonderful place to take your dog for day care and boarding. The staff treat your dog like its there own. My dog is generally afraid of strangers ( especially men) and she is not afraid to be taken from me with one of the male staff for day care of boarding. The facility is clean, warm and welcoming. The pool water always appear crystal clean and the dogs have grass to play on.The staff is always willing to work with my schedule which can be kind of crazy when dealing with airplane times and days.Thank goodness for this facility! I know that Sadie is being well taken care of!

So far so great. Our boy has a different personality and so the staff here at Red fern has been great to him since he has been coming there. 4 different places in particular didn't give our boy a chance and pretty much deemed him to be an aggressive dog but the staff here at Red Fern has listened and we see the difference in our dog. Our boy is happy upon arrival and that says alot with him and that also says alot about Red Fern. Thank you Red fern for putting in the work to help my dog get comfortable 🙏.

We absolutely love this establishment & especially the staff!!!! We had to board our boy Moose for the 1st time ever when we came to Ocala, my father was in the hospital & my in-laws did not want our dog at their house because they have cats. So we found Red Fern & I’m so thankful we did! My father ended up having to go to hospice & passing away. Red Fern’s staff was amazing through our difficult time! We originally planned to be there just a few days but with the circumstances it ended up being over a week. Then when we came back for the funeral we had to board him again and again they were just as amazing!! They were so helpful and understanding at Red Fern. Knowing our sweet boy was being so well taken care of relieved a huge stress from us! I am now needing to board my dog in another part of Florida and wishing I had a place like Red Fern!! They really are special and now that we are needing a boarding service again we see just how wonderful Red Fern is! Thank you for being such a great, well kept, fun and loving environment for our fur baby! Harley is my big 2 yr old boy and Emerald is my mom’s 7 month old Female. I am extremely picky about where these dogs go because they are working animals with very important jobs. I never have to worry about their safety or health when they go to Redfern, and it is so great that Harley and Em have a place where they can go to just enjoy playing with their friends and being dogs on some of their days off. The staff always has positive attitudes and smiling faces no matter how busy they are or what went on in their day. The staff goes above and beyond all the time for dogs and they are truly passionate about what they do. Thanks Redfern. Our dogs love you!

This place is incredible! Our Aussie stayed here 3 nights and 4 days while we were out of town and she told us she loved it. The facility is awesome, spotless and has so many great amenities.There are size-specific indoor and outdoor play areas, a full grooming station, regular and deluxe "rooms," with beds and everything for your pup. The doggy pool will be done soon too which is perfect for this Florida weather. Also a full grooming room is available.Most importantly, DA, Garnett and the staff are incredible and accommodating with great communication and care. Thank you for taking such great care of Shiva!

Our go-to boarder in Ocala! We have used them several times during our vacations for both of our dogs. They have always done a great job! This is not a fake positive review. Unlike the other 1 star comments posting because of the passing of an English Bulldog (who are notorious for having severe respiratory issues and need to sleep in a recliner with Vicks vaporub on their chest and a sleep apnea machine), we have actually used this boarder for several years and have had no issues whatsoever. Our dogs ARRIVE HEALTHY and leave healthy.

We have one dog who is aggressive with other dogs and tends to get anxious and fearful when we board her. At Red Fern, she is well-cared for and loved. They manage her needs while keeping her safely away from other dogs. We have peace of mind going on vacation, knowing she is being so well taken care of. Thank you! UPDATE: First, I would like to say that the original review below still stands but our 2 year relationship with Red Fern has come to an end. However, I have just called for a boarding reservation only to find out that the prices have increased exponentially. I understand price increases but, but 6 months ago both of my dogs stayed for 2 nights with group play, basic bath and and nails for $267. I was just quoted $387 for 1 night with group play same lodging type no bath, no nails. That's over a 50% increase if you compare services between the two stays. As much as we love them, we will have to move on.We have tried several places, but there is nothing like Red Fern. Our dogs get so excited when we drive up, and see the building. They are always so happy to be there. As soon as we get out of the car, they are eager to go in, and they don't look back. That shows how wonderful everyone there is and how well our fur babies are cared for. We always recommend Red Fern to anyone looking for a daycare or to board their pets. Everyone is so friendly and professional. We highly recommend Red Fern.

Red Fern is a fantastic doggie day care. Our fur kids, Beau and Brandy, have been going for quite a while and they love it! When we adopted them, we also took them thru their great training program. I am SO impressed with this place. They have plenty of help (who are well trained). Every area in this place is super clean. It's like my dog is going on vacation when I am. Can't wait to see if he gets in the pool while I'm on the ocean!

I bring my 9 month old & 12 year old (Goldens) and I am very impressed with this facility! Tons of staff, and lots of dogs to socialize with. They make it super easy to book, & have great add ons like treats & baths. There is also a pool the dogs get to use in the AM. I am also very appreciative of the staff helping me wrangle my 2 boys in and out of my vehicle. Highly recommend!
