On July 3rd, 2023 My grandmother took her Chihuahua to get groomed, she dropped her off and went walking around the store. While she walked down one of the isles she could hear the dog yelping and crying. She looked over to the window and they had double wrapped the dogs head in a towel. One girl was squeezing the head and mouth while another cut her nails. My grandmother ran over and started knocking on the window telling her to give her the dog back! My grandmother was so nervous and upset she grabbed the dog and left. That night the dog needed to be rushed urgently to a vet. They had broken her jaw and required emergency surgery and had all her teeth pulled. The manager had the nerve to tell my grandmother that the incident occurred at home and not at his store. He asked my grandmother where the dog uses the bathroom, maybe an animal did it to her outside or maybe someone at home abuses her.Chichi (the dog) lives a better life then most humans. She is an inside dog and no one abuses her.We have sent multiple letters to the company and they have been unresponsive. We weren't asking for anything more then they take care of the VET bill since their staff had broken our dogs jaw. The company has been unresponsive.They did however put up a sign stating they no longer take small pets.I am almost sure it is because their staff is poorly trained and abused our dog.I have attached pictures of the trauma the dog went through.

Update, assistant manager called wanting to know what she can do to make this right , let me pick first from the next order ? Said the employee can't promise to hold an animal, must've thought that they could, I was even told that the hold time was 3 days so ? It's not all the employees fault and that's who this is being blamed. (They don't stand behind their word , they sold Cheeto the Bearded dragon out from under me , they were holding him for me til I got my arcadia uvb light and I went in to check on him 4 times during the hold time and held him and not once did they say anything that they supposedly sold him before my time was up. I've been lied to , the manager said he didn't know about him being held( what about the big sign in his tank saying I'm going home soon? ) Then he said they don't hold , then they don't hold for 7 days only two, then the assistant manager Sue knew about the hold because the employee told me when I came in on the 4th day of him being held that they only can hold him 3 days , I asked them to honor the 7 days and that I'd be in Thursday gave my phone number and name . No call , nothing. Talked to a manager on the phone while in the store and asked if he could tell them I had him on hold , he said they bought him ( Saturday or Monday or ? ) and he can't do anything ( or won't do anything about it ) Bad business for sure ! Alot more was said that conflicted with what I was being told by the employee about him, like he was sold wed . Got to get your stories straight. , Lying is not good in business or anywhere else for a matter of fact. He was supposed be mine, he was supposed to be held , I am heartbroken. I lost my beardie Oscar in Jan and it took a long time to finally decide on Cheeto. If you are the people that bought him would you please be so kind to let me be able to get him please.I will give you the money for him and pray you find the right one for you. God bless. Sorry I'm just so upset and don't like to treated this way.)

Used grooming salon for my two foster poodles. Extremely pleased with the service received. Groomer listened to what I wanted and expertly groomed the dogs perfectly. She was also very pleasant and went out of her way to make sure I left pleased.

Super convenient and packed full of pet foods and supplies!! don't waste a drive all the way to 200 or 441..... this place has it all!! I got my blue buffalo dog food there also a crate mat and and new bed!!

This place is great. Knowledgeable staff. My daughter adopted 2 cats and she loves them. We have gotten a teddy bear hampster and a Chinese dwarf hampster there. Pets are clean so is the store. I will continue to return. Love it.

I don't take my dog anywhereI go to Petsense for toys, food and grooming for any dog needsHighly recommend Jackie for grooming she's the best, for anything your baby needs from nails grooming and if your feeling a little extra they have pet safe colors tooI only gave 4 stars because of the small bird food selectionI am disappointed there isn't really anything for cockateils or quaker parrotsBut everytime I go staff is amazing my dalmation gets plenty of pets and treats and I always walk out happyOnly thing that disappointing is I can't shop for my birds and dog in the same storeBut that's a marketing thing nothing bad I can say about the amazing staffVery personal, Hawk and Rocky are always there giving great service and I don't his name but great advice from the gentleman working there too about sun conure when I had my sunJackie is always my girl for Archer and I'm always happy to see he's been pampered and well groomed whenever month I bring him

There's a great variety of animal products. Like a little of everything but not a lot of options of any one thing. Those i interacted with were very friendly and knowledgeable. That said, I found everything way overpriced. As i walked around I was very shocked at the prices. I did buy some fish as they were about the only thing affordable.

Kinda pricey on some items, cheaper on a few, but it's really well worth it to stay off the other pet stores out on College Road / SR 200! Very friendly staff and the store was insanely clean. They also carry items you may not see at those other stores. I'll be back! PS: Doggos enjoyed all the love and treats!

Store seemed unorganized and the customer service in the store was sub par at best. The only reason I’ll go back is because the groomer was so great with my big hard to handle dog. He came out happy and smelling great. If not for the fabulous groomer would have given a 1 star.

Very nice place,clean and very animal friendly. When I adopted my kitten from here was such a great day . They where all very nice and helpful with kitten food ,toys ,bed, and all the fun stuff. Would highly recommend this store to every pet parent I know!!!!!

Nice pet store. Convenient location. Prices are what you would expect- slightly higher than discount stores but the selection and location make it worth it. Large variety of goods, toys, treats. Grooming services. Pet adoptions on certain days.

A great new place for everything pets in silver springs...same plaza as $Tree and harbour freight. It's closer to where I stay than the "big" store. It's a smaller has a "family" vibe. All the foods (esp. a big selection of Hills)..toys, leashes, cat products, fish, even stuff for reptiles. (I'm scared of our non furry or feathered friends, I could tell that the sales staff was very knowledgeable of their needs)New grooming salon...Niki was done in ONE HOUR, and looked adorable.(she's a 60 lb Aussie, not a small dog) It's behind a glass window and you can watch them do their magic. And was only $65 with the $10 first time customer discount (try getting a big dog groomed, clipped, nails done for that) with a big "menu" of services. It's a nice neat and clean store. All the associates are friendly, one on one attention, and enough staff to keep things moving along. I was there at least an hour, talking, looking at stock.Go there, support your local businesses, you'll be happy you did.
