It's a place where you pick up some tack or you pick up some feed to pick up some hay. It's kind of weird that when you frequent a place so much, not to mention how darn expensive feed, supplements, probiotics, special shampoos special creams are over the roof in terms of cost that there would be some kind of reward program. I'm really wanting some perks for giving a local business my business. So far that's not the case, and I hope somebody from OBS reads this because maybe you drive more business and I drive a benefit. If you don't want to give a discount to seniors then give a discount to senior horses senior donkeys seen your dog senior cats. We need a bang for a buck because a buck doesn't last very long or go very far and we worked very hard for it. No one recognizes you your name that you've been there a hundred times before. It's impersonal, high priced, and no perks

Always a great experience here!! Best feed mill in town. I know my grain is made FRESH and LOCAL, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly to boot. Hands down OBS stores are the best place in town for all your equine needs. Competitive pricing, but customer service is number 1.

There are multiple options for buying hay in the 'horse capital of the world', but without exception OBF&S have always done the right thing by us... Even with just one horse, Mr Howard & Fred & the front counter staff & the rest of the team are a big part of why we have continued to get our hay from them for over a decade.

I just moved to Ocala and was looking for quick employment until I could find something more permanent. When I got there I found out that in 2022, they are hard up for workers but starting wages for loading dock workers is $11.50/hr. Seems like there's an easy fix to the lack of applicants...

Staff is Friendly. They know their products. My dogs welcome in the store. Priced reasonably. My horses LOVE their feed!! I have not found similar quality feed elsewhere.

Just had one of the rudest encounters ever. Loader told me I should go get my feed somewhere else. I have been a loyal customer and everyone has always been very nice. I am shocked by his behavior.

A good place to buy for a horse's needs. They have some of the best feed and always fresh, they also carry some very nice tack a good place to shop if you have horse's.

I'm a big fan of locally owned and operated OBS. I buy all my grain there for my miniature horses because they make it in Ocala so it's always super fresh. They also carry Triple Crown Senior which is my favorite for my elderly quarterhorse and it's always available. They have a large variety of supplements, tools, and equipment in their shop. To my surprise, they carry several high quality brands of dog and cat foods, a much better experience than shopping at a pet food store! OBS is open on Saturday and carries a wide variety of hay. High marks for their Timothy and Alfalfa, (competitely priced) but, after several experiences, better Coastal can be found elsewhere.

Great selection of things you actually need but they should not hire people who are not experienced horse people. It wastes customers time & if you shop there you are usually a serious horse person.

Went there to bet on the horse racing. It was semi-crowded, but an enjoyable time. A guard showed me their training track, and I was impressed with it.
