Average store experience. The customer checkout is always a very slow process at this location. The cashiers always seem to have problems logging into the registers which is a bad problem to have. The store is clean… not the cleanest. Shady people hang out around here though.

This post is being made more for a particular employee than the store. I had been to a nearby walgreens to get a picture put on canvas as a Christmas gift, after 3 days of being told my canvas was ready to find out it wasn't, I was told it could not be made at all due to, not having what was needed. I went to this walgreens on oakland and prospect where I met the employee by the name of Grand. He went above and beyond helping me improve the canvas photo via the kiosk. Helped me crop the photo in such away on my own phone that it made the photo fit the canvas perfect for framing. This man spent at least an hour and a half helping me, the whole time apologizing for the amount of time it was taking. But after a week of struggles, he helped me walk out the store same night with a much better product than I knew how to produce. I appreciated Grand so much that I decided to leave this review in hopes that he gets the credit he deserves. Thanks again Grand. Happy holidays

I would like to express the total humiliation that I experienced last night at this location. It was around 10:30 and due to some medications that I am taking, results in urgent and quick trips to the restroom. I get very little notice and when I need to go, I need to go. Last night the need arose and I desperately needed to get to a restroom. A young male employee, named Bryant I think was there cleaning the restroom. I respect anyone doing their job. I understood he was cleaning the restroom but I pleaded and tried to explain my urgent situation. Of ALL businesses that should be sympathetic regarding side effects from medication, one would think a pharmacy would understand. The situation elevated to him screaming and threatening violence and yelling throughout the entire store for everyone to hear. He then followed me out to my car telling me he gets off at 11:30 and he’s coming after me! Seriously, I have NEVER been so humiliated, embarrassed and shamed at the way the situation was handled. I wish I would have called the police. No one at a business, especially a pharmacy should reject and humiliate another human being pleading for mercy. NEVER! I write this, not for me, but in an effort to prevent anyone else from the total dismissal of human decency, at someone refusing to let another human being use the bathroom in an obvious desperate scenario. Please prevent this young man from humiliating another human being.

I came in yesterday to pick up my photo order. When I arrived, my pictures were not ready, the store manager, Albert stopped what he was doing, and fixed the printer,so that my pictures would print. He had my photos for me in no time. He kept apologizing to me. He was super friendly and a wonderful manager.

I was looking for a medication called Unisom, a sleeping aid. My hubby's grandma was driving down today to stay with us here in Fort Lauderdale from Augusta, GA. She needed some Unisom to help her sleep. What I discovered is that the active ingredient for Unisom geltabs is Diphenhydramine, whereas the active ingredient for Unisom tablets is Doxylamine, also a sleeping aid similar to Diphenhydramine. I have no idea why ingredients for the gel tabs are different from tablets.

I just moved to Fort Lauderdale from outside Philadelphia. I am a single father of three kids who I adopted with my recently deceased husband through the foster system in Philly. I dropped off 3 prescriptions for myself on Saturday. They told me everything would be available on Monday. They also informed me that Walgreens does not accept my kids' Medicaid, which was a shock since the Walgreens in PA always did. You gotta love companies that discriminate against our neediest population . . . so disappointing!I updated my. number on Saturday and never received a text alert to let me know that my prescriptions were ready. I returned on Tuesday and they had one ready for pick up and confirmed they incorrectly recorded my updated number. I returned today and was told that only one was ready. I complained and asked her to cancel the third as I'm have my prescriptions sent to CVS moving forward, especially since they don't discriminate against my children. I continued to ask for the the prescription that she continued to insist was ready and after several minutes of frustration, she clarifies it's ready, but the pharmacist is on his/her lunch break and needs to speak to you about the medication which I've been taking forever! I told her to keep both prescriptions and I'll have my doctor send another to CVS. Although busy and no drive-through, the people at CVS have been so much friendlier and more efficient!

Terrible Walgreens. Staff not professional, very slow, very unaware of the environment and the people in line. Items not stocked, a lot of missing items and frankly I'm hoping for another store to appear in this block. Maybe CVS.

NEVER had an issue here in the 20 years I've been going to this store. Staff has always been kind and had patience. Has this caused me to wait a little, sure. This is called being courteous to fellow human beings and not thinking I am better. Possible others had issues due to never being taught this fact.

I stopped by THIS Walgreens Sunday 9/6/15 to purchase some sun block and make up. I often shop there because they carry a large variety of make up for dark skin. I will never go there again! Well at least to that particular store. To the Manager News flash: Everyone that walks into your store doesn't have the intention to steal. Don't prejudge people! Learn some manners. Example, " Hello, how are you today or Welcome to Walgreens then follow by, " May I help you?" I understand you have a job to do, however there are ways to do your job in a professional manner. The district store really needs to train YOU on customer service relations and discrimination. Please note: when a business makes a customer feel wanted, welcomed and valued your business will succeed.

I went to this walgreens last night at about 10pm and the lady at the counter had a serious attitude she cursing and slamming stuff in front of the customers and the guy left us at the register in the middle of ringing us up we asked is he coming back and the lady said F this the manager came to ring us up and he was very sarcastic stated that he needed the cashier to do something else 🙄 this was a very entertaining experience i was too happy to be mad so I just said thank you and laughed 😀 won't go back at night

Please shut down, parking lot is dark, location is old, dirty, and no employees. Only 1 person running the whole place . Employee claims other registers are broken seriously Walgreens we can't fix a register,?. Wow.

Placed an order for 150 pictures, said it would be ready at 8:15pm I gave them extra time, showed up at 9:10pm. I asked gilmar for my photos, he walked back to his station and looked up at me with a oops face and told me sorry I didnt process your pictures yet, its going to take 15 mins.... very upset, this has happened twice know.

I'm here on vacation and had to stop to pick up some items I forgot... I needed a pair of headphones and they kept me waiting for about 15 mins trying to find the keys to unlock the shelf. I ended up just breaking the packaging and buying the item. That guy might still be looking for those keys. The world may never know.

I go to this Walgreens be cause it’s convenient. Lately it’s over run with panhandlers harassing you for money. Today they were doing drugs just outside the door. Manager needs to step it up and clean this location up. I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

Horrible customer service from the cashiers to the manager. Has to be the only store in history that won't let you exchange unopened items within minutes of purchasing! To the cashiers- no need to have nasty attitudes! If you don't want to be at work, quit and let someone who actually wants to work get a job!
