Drove 55 minutes to one fish store but ended up googling and driving to this lil gem. From the moment we walked in, we were in awe! The corals, the fishes and clean aquariums were amazing to see. And then.. we are helped by Kyle! Talk about knowledge on corals and fish life, this guy was so skilled & informative on feedings, temperature, water measures and growth of just about every different species in that store. If I could give him 100 stars, I totally would. We love our beautiful huge corals purchased. They made it home safe and we followed his instructions. They are happy in their new home. Thank you Kyle, stay sweet with your outstanding customer service!

WOW.. after years of coming here on and off... I will probably NEVER return to this fish store. I have spent hundreds on fish and coral spread out the years. I have even referred people. However, recently was my 1st worst experience. Employee Santiago threatened that he could throw me out of the store (w/ owner permission), for disrespecting him (previous visit), by asking a lower price on a torch frag he was selling himself at the store. I have always negotiated coral and fish with other places, and they have never been insulted by that. No owner has ever felt disrespected for asking a lower price. Worst they have said was "no". I may ask a couple of times after the 1st time, but never have i harrass, curse, or disrespect anyone for a lower price. Santiago had elaborated and fabricated the story to the owner. Everything is on camera. If he felt that he was disrespected, then he should have just told me not to ask for a lower price. This is still odd because nobody in the fish industry has ever felt insulted by negotiating prices. They understand that's part of working at a fish store. Sorry Alex, love ya store for years, but I will be going to the other 2 stores off of commercial. I thought I was a fun and energetic customer. Never had an issue with any of your staff. Everyone has always been friendly with me. However, today was poor customer service. Don't be in business if you feel disrespected for a cust questions.

Great store. I prefer getting salt water from them as some other local stores are making their own salt water, and my nutrient levels were being affected by man made water. As for the store itself, they have a huge selection of very interesting corals. The prices are fair and they are very knowledgeable.

Natalie is as good as it gets when it comes to tropical freshwater fish care. She is calm, cool, collected and totally in control at all times. In addition, the store is always clean and well stocked and has an impressive selection of coral for sale. All in all I highly recommend anyone shop here for their aquarium needs!

Omg this store it’s amazing super clean very well organized they have a amazing selection of fish there prices are fairly good they always have deals on there IG account as well as good content and video the staff is súper knowledgeable they will always recommend you the best fish to take home they help me with my 150 gal that I just set up and they been helping me with my 300 gal salt water for the pass year they are amazing at what they do here best quality fish super healthy I for sure recommend it best store to star up in the saltwater and fresh water hobby

Very very helpful staff. Super friendly ( the lady and the gentlemen ) and knowledgeable.Helped me get some plants and some fish for my new freshwater tank. Tested my water recommended nutrients and everything. THEIR ADVICE IS FREE and that is priceless. Thank you for a pleasant time each time I’ve come there (almost everyday). Will be back again soon. I've read plenty great reviews on this place but my experience was totally the opposite. Came in with the hopes of getting some things for my 50 gal. But had no offer of help from the associate who didn't even hear us come in because her ear pods were taking up the majority of attention, I even told a small joke to maybe try to initiate conversation to no avail. Well after walking aimlessly around the store we decided to leave, I mean i was really disappointed because I didn't find the experience I read about through the reviews.. I gave 2 stars because although they had a huge selection, most of the life plants were browning and there wasn't anybody in position this day to accommodate any request of point me in a good direction as far as my aquarium..

I've made 3 different requests for call backs, the employees say the owner needs to do it and he never does. I guess he's busy enough he doesn't need any more customers. We actually resorted to buying a fish online because we can't find it locally. Nice shop, but won't be going back.

Walked in a woman behind counter looked up from her phone and said hi and went right back to looking at her phone . I walked around for 15 to 20 minutes and no one offered to help me or even came to see what I was doing . I walked by the desk and there where a group of people talking and I couldn't figure out if any of them worked there because they where all in regular clothing . They didnt even stop the conversation to look at me . I went in there looking to spend a bit of money knowing it would be expensive for what I wanted but after being ignored I decided to leave I doubt they even noticed . can't say ill be back. Shame to because its right around the corner from my house. But maybe it was a one off . best of luck to everyone looking for a good fish store .

I called first about an hour before closing to see if AK had any Betta fish. Shea was very detailed with their stock and when I showed up he was just as friendly in person. He knows his fish info and it was like aquarium 101. We have several large to medium fish tanks and we’ll be buying supplies from this store. Reasonably priced and the polite customer service will have me going back. Thank you

Staff and store were very good. I actually was recommended another aquarium store and saw there sign. I stopped in and was impressed, went to the other store and came back.The staff were excited to share and educate. The selection of true aquarium plants was best I’ve seen. Lots of freshwater and salt.. I’m not into salt but fresh and invertebrates... they had a good selection.I’m glad I stopped in and will definitely come back here again.I purchased 58 dollars worth of Pygmy Anubis. Some Nanna petites and a crazy cool spider wood. They had exceptional spider wood.It’s a good find.

Went there several times. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpfull. He has educated me as well as guiding me through the set up of my first saltwater tank. Im very anxious, nervous, and excited all in one. But he is definitely reassuring and patient with me.

Went to the store not knowing what I really wanted. Shea was outstanding. He walked me through all the selections of fish I could make. I finally selected the fish my granddaughter would like. Shea should be considered for a management position. He is awesome.

Newer store to Fort Lauderdale. They have a nice selection of salt and fresh water fish and coral. My biggest requirement for a good fish store is a friendly face and a smile which I get every time I walk in there. Can’t say the same for other stores in the area. This place has good prices and great sales. I recommended following their social media cause they post some of their sales and promotions good

Pricey for what they offer. Has gone down hill lately and the owner seems a bit defensive about reviews. Posted on yelp as well and he accused me of being a former employee.. either he’s paranoid or treats them bad enough that they’d seek revenge. Maybe covering something up? Either way I’ll shop elsewhere.

The guy that helped me(Harry)was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of good advice and even though I asked 100 questions did not get short with me or try to hurry me along, Even though I was only spending about $10. I highly recommend this place. Also they have a very wide selection.

This is a nice shop, it's outside my normal traveling range. Alex, the owner really enjoys interacting with his customers, you could tell that from your visit. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Some nice large displays, both fresh and saltwater. Nice selection of both fresh and saltwater including freshwater plants and saltwater corals. Some very nice coral specimens, in fact. On the freshwater side, good selection of African cichlids, and also some very large South American cichlids such as some beautiful big gold severum as well as some long fin giant oscars. Definitely worth a visit if this shop is in your area, or even if you happen to be passing through town.

I give this place three stars only because the owner dropped the price a little bit when I bought every bloodfin tetra in the tank. Also because the staff is extremely knowledgeable and honest when it comes to your aquarium. But the only problem I had was a lot of their tanks had ich. Which I understand we are in the middle of a cold front so the fish they buy to stock up there tanks probably came with ich. I worked in a petstore in New York and the winter was the worst time to buy fish from us because they always had ich. It’s understandable. But honestly they are not doing anything about it. They’re not treating the tanks or writing sick tank on the glass or even letting you know “this is a sick tank”. I was ready to buy a black German ram from them for 30$ or 40$ and the tank was infested with ich no treatment in the water. When I work at my pet store I was treating tanks that I noticed had ich and ones that the customers noticed had ich. And I would tell them hey this tank is sick and take there contact info and call them up the second the tank was cured. They are little bit expensive on some fish not all. They have some nice looking plants as well. But hey I got my bloodfins on sale and all 15 of them are super heathy.
