We found our wonderful goldendoodle puppy Phoebe at Animal Aid and we couldn’t be happier! We had such a great experience with Tamera, who was so accommodating and allowed us to come meet our dog during their off hours. The staff here is so passionate about their work, and they help so many animals find homes. We couldn’t be more grateful to this organization!

I adopted my beautiful boy Ziggy here over two years ago. They were so helpful and kind and now we live in Nashville living our best lives. I always mention this place to south Florida locals. Can’t be more thankful! ❤️

We are so happy we found this shelter. After being disappointed so many times at other shelters, this experience was a welcome change. It is by chance that I saw our PJ on Pet Finder, which took us to Animal Aid. The communication with Diane and Tamera was great and within four days, I was at Animal Aid adopting our beautiful boy! There was a minor issue with his neuter surgery and I brought him back the next day and the on-call vet was able to redo the surgery and as of today he is doing great! I know I have said it already, but we are really grateful for Animal Aid and the work they do. I believe it was destiny for sure. I also think that PJ found us, he was always going to be our baby boy!

Animal Aid is a great shelter with wonderful, hard working beautiful people who love and care for the animals they take care of. Wow I'm amazed at how fast and professionalAmy Churnetski were with my cats! She bathed, cut their nails, and cleaned their ear! Please help this shelter with any donations you can afford! Thank you Amy and Lee.

This is a small gem of an animal place to buy your dog or cat flea treatments, among many, many other products. They also say or neuter your pets, all at much better prices than anywhere else in this town, including the big pet marts or any vet I have found so far. Tamara is a wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable person who will not steer you qrong. She will even recommend you to a great vet if your your pet is in further need, even if it means they lose the business that day!

Such a nice service they offer to the community. We got a Shiba Inu there and he is the sweetest dog I've ever seen. Many great dogs there and the cats were even better. All the cats seemed really kind and fun. We will get a cat from them soon.

As long time lovers of rescuing furbabies of all ages, entirely toothless to missing an eye, to scared as a mouse, deaf, blind, and everything in between, my husband and I found Animal Aid to be an amazing organization of caring and selfless professionals and volunteers trying to help so many helpless animals in need. We found a young female Yorkie-Pom mix on their website in need of a loving home. I contacted Animal Aid and explained why we wanted to adopt this fur baby. We have a seventeen year old Pom who is entirely toothless, blind and deaf and a 11/2 yr old Shitzu and a rescue elderly toothless terrier flown over from Peurto Rico who was left homeless after a major earthquake. We wanted to share our mismatched group of furry friends with this young Yorkie Pom in hopes of her adding even more love to our little family. Well, Tazarina (Taz) Secret Gooden has joined right in. We are blessed to have found her and can’t thank Animal-Aid enough for their ongoing effort to help these furbabies of all shapes and sizes and conditions to find someone to love them. So please check them out and if you can help them please do, and better yet, if you can foster or adopt, they are in need of folks like you. Pay it forward if you can. This group is worthy from what we have found.

They are volunteers and they do a great job! I go there for vaccinations for both my cat and dog and I fixed my little dog there, the price was better than my regular vet. Also I had called them because my dog was scratching a lot and after trying several things they advised me over the phone, we finally agreed to give an allergy shot and it worked!

We adopted Jimmy who was surrendered by a breeder. We had just lost our shih tzu mix bob who passed at 15 years old. We miss him and to honor his memory wanted to adopt a new dog for our other doggie fifi. Jimmy has been a great addition and is a crazy boy but brings the energy we needed to our home! Thanks so much Tami!

Got my precious boy from here. Very small non-profit where the people were so nice and want nothing but the best for these animals. Gave me some food and litter to help with the adjustment of a new home. Highly recommend adopting or donating

I have taken a few of my fur babies to Animal Aid to get spayed and neutered. Tammy is really nice, and the staff really seems to care about the animals that come in. I definitely recommend anyone to take their pets there for service. Or, simply donate, because it is for an awesome cause.

This organization truly cares for animals. I have found strays and they were the only group willing to helpwith crates and advice and were genuinely invested in helping me to helpthese lost dogs. My husband adopted his late dog there, and had a great experience. We fostered a dog we ended up adopting and were impressed with the stringent and comprehensive policy in adopting Connor. They provide neutering/spay, all shots and I felt very comfortable with the donation they clearly use to help the community and its animals. If you are interested in adopting, fostering or volunteering I highly recommend you check out this small but effective charity.

Animal Aid is wonderful👏. The staff are all so helpful & pleasant, & they work tirelessly to provide the best service possible to a houseful of animals.Tamara & Amy are fantastic❣️. They’ve both taken excellent care of our 7 rescue cats & 2 dogs. Tamara always helps provide wise advice concerning medication, & Amy has the “Midas Touch” 🙂 when it comes to handling my cats. She has a really tender way about her when she interacts w/cats & dogs.I’m so grateful Animal Aid is close by. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without them💜.Thanks so much, Animal Aid, for loving animals so much & for providing lots of TLC to many animals in need.God Bless You!❣️

Great place to adopt pets. Low cost vaccinations and other services.Update: Animal Aid is a great place to adopt cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. Their adoption process has changed since the last time that I adopted anything from them. First you must look on their website to see who you might be interested in adopting. Then you have to fill out the adoption application form online first. Last, the application must be approved and eventually you choose a time to meet up with the cat, kitten, dog or puppy that you’re choosing to adopt.Animal Aid offers low cost vaccinations as well as low cost prescription flea/tick medications.Animal Aid offers some treats, toys, leashes, collars, training aids, scratching posts and climbing trees for cats. They offer a small amount of other basic pet necessities as well. You would find more of a variety at your local pet store. The Animal Aid Website is easy to navigate but some parts of the Website don’t work.Animal Aid’s communication is a 2 star for me because they never answer their phone, they only sometimes call you back - usually using an Unknown Number - and they never respond to their email. When I did get a callback from the Unknown Number, I received lots of information about the situation that I was having trouble with on their website.Animal Aid offers low cost spaying and neutering services to dogs under 25 pounds and all cats. If you get your dog or cat spayed or neutered here, don’t expect them to call you about their progress or any treatment that they feel that they might need. I brought my 2 puppies to get spayed and neutered. I dropped them off at 8am - drop off time is between 8am and 10am. I asked when they’d be close to done (approximately) and they told me around 1pm-2pm. They asked me before I left, would I like their nails trimmed or anything else while they’re under. I asked for them to trim their nails only. I paid for the nail trim and I then I drove home. I waited until 2:30pm for their phone call or an email which I never received. (They never called, emailed, text or any sort of communication to ease my concerns.) Then I drove up to Animal Aid to see if they were done. The surgery was complete but they were both very groggy and dizzy. I completed the paperwork and I was ready to leave with the puppies but then the Animal Aid employee stopped me and told me that I had to pay for Flea Medication that they gave them - WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I explained that I was on a tight budget and I could only afford to pay half of the bill because this wasn’t something that I had planned on and I never gave permission for them to the give the flea medication in the first place. I did explain before the procedure that they’re due for their flea medication - which I had at home already - and that I was going to give them their flea medication as soon as they got home. They never called and asked for my permission at all and I didn’t appreciate it being done. The puppies are both doing alright after the procedure. The male puppy was and is still acting very uneasy. He acts as if something had happened to him during the procedure. I hope everything will improve. Another thing I don’t understand is that I dropped of my puppies way before anyone was even there, I was first in line but it seems as though they were last to be done. When I went to pick them up, there were cats and kittens in crates with paperwork attached to their cages which indicated to me that they were done first. So in conclusion, if you want to adopt a pet, definitely come here but check on their website first. If you want low cost vaccines, low cost prescription flea/tick medication, toys and some other necessary pet items, come here. Their communication needs lots of improvement. As far as their low cost spay and neuter service, I recommend looking elsewhere.

The staff at Animal Aid were so friendly. We adopted an adorable sweet dog yesterday. The made the process so easy. We were allowed to spend time in the play yard with any dog we had interest in. They had many sweet adorable dogs there. It’s a great place to go for adoption. Thank you

Please adopt from this incredible non-profit organization! And donate if you can. They do excellent work caring for many animals and do great screening to find good homes for the cats and dogs. All the people I've dealt with have been super friendly and professional. They care about what they do and it shows. I've adopted several cats from them who have been awesome family members we love. I also make regular donations as I know it's going towards making other animals get the care they need and hopefully forever homes they deserve.

This place is great ! ... once I figured out how to obtain a Broward County TNR Voucher, I called AnimalAid for my already-pregnant community cat that I'd been feeding since a kitten. They managed to squeeze her in immediately (on a Friday) and provide the entire set of procedures and shots in a single day at very reasonable cost (for the extras beyond the voucher). Staff is wonderfully friendly and efficient. Will definitely continue to use this clinic.

I went there as a walk in, no appt. They accommodated me and gave my two cats capstar, a tiny pill they administered, this is said to kill all fleas on them within 24 hours. Then squirted a dose of Nexgard Combo between their should blades on both cats. Because it kills all kinds of worms fleas could give them. I was in and out in 15 min and it was only 70.00. Other Vets told me a lot of other things and the cost was a couple hundred more. They are extremely busy and they had about 15 cat carriers in their lobby which means they are super busy, but I was in and out. I guess the other animals needed different treatments than mine. Hats off to this place!

Tami was fantastic and kind. She helped me adopt this precious little dog. She answered all my questions and explained all his needs. You leave with a care package of food and medicine. He had been through quite an ordeal and Dr. Green at Total Pet Care took care of all his medical needs. Animal Aid is an amazing caring shelter and I also recommend Total Pet Care.

We waited 3 years since the passing of Kitty to adopt a kitten and did our research. On January 9, 2021 we had an appointment with Animal Aid and it was the best decision we could have made. We adopted Addie that day and couldn't be happier. She has found her forever home. The owners are amazing and we knew immediately the pets were well cared for and loved. Thank you for all you do for them!

This place is all about low cost spay/neuter and all things from to keeping your pets healthy to rehousing. This was my first and only time I’ve ever been to this place. I have a foster momma cat and 2 baby kittens that need special attention because momma is feral. They’re extremely helpful. They rely on donations and do all that they do to reinforce the health and safety of all animalsEdit: This place only does surgery’s on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Drop off is from 8am-10am on said days.I took feral Momma cat in to get her spay and hadn’t made an appointment. I was told that they may not be able to get to her that day because they had a really full house. However, not only did they get her spay done but, they also did it with minimal invasion. I was able to come back and pick her up about 2 1/2 hours after drop off. I opted to have her nails trimmed, vaccinated, checked for feline diseases and, checked/treated for tics & fleas. All of that was less than $180.00 (which is a GREAT deal)! Two weeks after she had her kittens I took her to my personal vet that I take my dogs to. They gave me a quote of $890.00 to have her spayed. It’s been 3 days since her spay at Animal Aid Inc. and “Phinnius” is doing really well. Almost as if she had nothing done.Thank you so much Animal Aid Inc. Dr’s, employees, and volunteers. 💜💜

Waiting 48 years I finally adopted my first rescue dog Gilligan. All the folks at the animal aid clinic were so kind and helpful. Everyone there is doing it for the love of these beautiful animals. I recommend this place with my heart. Please if you can make as large a donation as possible when getting your new pet. People like these are doing good work for animals who cannot help themselves. Great place highly recommended.
