We stayed in the Captains Quarters! It was spacious and clean. We enjoyed being close to the water and waking up and being able to go on our kayaks! We saw manatee and dolphin. The staff was great, very welcoming and helpful.

The view from the river front sites was amazing; waking up to dolphins and seagulls was beautiful. Site 34. We also saw several manatees from the dock. Our boys enjoyed renting a fishing pole the first day, then decided to buy one for the rest of the week. They really enjoyed casting from several places around the campground. The staff were excellent, warm and welcoming. Very nice, clean, well maintained campground in a area close to many activities/attractions!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our RV site backed right up to the water. We had beautiful views. We saw lots of dolphins and manatees, got to fish, and drove down to Kennedy Space Center to spend a day. It’s very kid-friendly. Full hook-ups, fire pit, and picnic tables included. Employees are helpful and friendly, too.Dog-friendliness: We traveled with our two dogs. There’s a small fenced in area to let them off leash.

We just completed a 4-night stay in our camper over the New Year's holiday. We stayed in site 10, which was perfect for us. The campground was full, and the sites were a bit close to each other, but everyone was friendly and considerate. We brough our two pups, there is plenty of green space for walking them. There were small docks on the canal side and a large fishing pier on the riverside. The baitshop had lots to offer in terms of snacks, hats, live bait, soft plastics, and beverages. It was very peaceful, lots of stars in the night sky. We even caught a rocket launch! Our son enjoyed his time fishing and shrimping.Dog-friendliness: There is a small fenced dog run at the entrance in case your pup needs time off leash.

We camped on the river side with our young kids. We bought some live bait from the bait shop and fished right off the back of our site. I caught my first snook and it was quite impressive to say the least! The dolphins and manatees are plentiful and put on quite the show! Booking process was easy and staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We're already talking about a next time!

Found this place by accident but its reputation precedes it. We were camping in the area and found the spot to be clean, simple, and peopled by good folks.Obviously, nature is the draw and it's nice that they respect that. however, they do have a number of facilities, and there's been a few constructions that crowd the water, leaving little room for the calm observation of nature.I added a couple of nearby photos from the same area, but just around the corner

We recently bought property on a canal and after settlement we were informed the former tenant left the place a mess. On short notice we booked a week at the Redfish Cabin (needed a pet friendly rental) so we could go work on cleaning up the property. We found the cabin to be neat and tidy - it even smelled clean when you walked inside which was welcomed after working all day dealing with the mess at the property. The view is priceless - the beds are super comfy and they even provide towels and linens. We will be back! We have much more work to do and found the conveniences at Indian Mound Campground superb!

Amazing for a first time fishing camp experience. The hosts were inviting, fun and knowledgeable. The cabin and campgrounds itself gave us memories of a lifetime.

My wife and I have brought our camper and boat to IMF a few times in the past. This weekend we brought our boat and stayed in one of the cabins. This is a great place to stay, particularly if you have a boat and don't want to fight the crowds at the boat ramps. Just put your boat in at thier private boat ramp, boat all day, then at the end of the day tie up at one of their cove protected docks and go enjoy dinner and a cocktail at your campsite, or in one of their nice little cabins. The cabins very clean and reasonably priced. We highly recommend it.

We booked the Manatee Manor cabin to spend the holiday weekend with our friends who have brought their camper here many times before. The cabin was cute and clean, and the perfect fit for our family of 4! The location is perfect for all the boating and fishing we wanted to do. The staff was super friendly and helpful and we will definitely be coming back again!

Check in with Kim was flawless. All interactions with staff, Rachael, Jamie and Kim were extremely pleasant. Neil was on top of everything. Power was out first night, Kelly texted us promptly that FP&L was addressing. Neil ensured power was restored and the site was secure. The store and bait shop is amazing, very well stocked with quality current gear and supplies. We went up street to find a part for boat but ended up coming back to IMFC store and bought for half of what hardware store wanted. Cabin was nice, all amenities covered. Boat ramp, docks and pier are well maintained. On site laundry plus restroom, fish cleaning stations all above and beyond what we expected.Excellent location highly recommend if you’re looking for an area that is on the water in close proximity to good fishing. Thanks Neil and staff for an amazing stay, looking forward to our next trip. Ed & Sean N.

Awesome place to camp. Clean and quiet. The dock was awesome and like others, we saw manatees and dolphins everyday. We paddled around the river and the mangroves nearby and saw more wildlife (stingrays, puffer fish, horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs). Great place to fish, boat and paddle. We visited Kennedy Space Center and New Smyrna Beach from this spot which both were easy short drives. Neighbors were friendly and so were the ladies in the shop on site. Will definitely be back and stay river front (worth the extra money to stay where you can see the animals from your camper).

My husband our dog and I stayed in one of the cabins for 7 nights and we loved it. Had a great time! It was inexpensive and clean. The people are wonderful and help out in any way they can. My husband caught tons of fish and we saw dolphins and manatees while we were there. They even had entertainment on Saturday night. This is the 2nd time we stayed there and will go back again in the future I am sure!

Great campsite with full hookups to spend the weekend with the family fishing and enjoying the great views of the Indian River. We caught all types of fish including pompano, puffer fish, whiting, stingrays, catfish and many others. We even caught an eel. We saw manatees and dolphins swimming around in the river. They have a great dock to fish off of and they offer kayak rentals. There is also a boat ramp if you wanted to bring your boat and go in the river. They have a bait store and also offer food, refreshments and lots of fishing gear. Great friendly staff and we will definitely be back for another camping trip in the future.

I stayed at the Salty Air cabin for a week., while visiting family were in their RV. The cabin itself was clean.Everything you could possibly need was there. The AC unit kept the place at a really comfortable temperature, and the fan on the other side of cabin really helped for a good night's sleep. The folks who work at Indian Mound Fish Camp are all extremely friendly and thoughtful. The outside setting itself is beautiful. Loved seeing the dolphins playing, or watching my Stepmother catch catfish.I truly enjoyed my time, and can say that these people are in the business of creating great family memories

We had such a great time RV-ing at Indian Mound Fish Camp! Our site was right on the riverfront, which made it so nice to see all the birds, the dolphins playing with the pelicans and the osprey catching a fish for his dinner and watching the boats go by. The bathhouse is clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. We will definitely want to go back again.

We loved our 11-night stay at Indian Mound Fish Camp. All sites along the Indian River have great views of the river and amazing wildlife. We saw manatees, dolphins catching fish, tons of birds EVERY SINGLE DAY. We could look out the window and see wildlife at any time. It was unbelievable! The sites are very tight, so beware. The campground was generally pretty quiet though and is gated. We appreciated the small fenced area for our dog, which was clean. I also did laundry several times (1 washer/1 dryer at $2 per load) with no issue. There are great things to do in the area, like the Black Point Wildlife Drive (tons of gators, turtles, birds!), Cape Canaveral National Seashore, Smyrna Dunes Park, Blue Springs State Park, etc. Check the schedule for rocket launches. We drove down to Titusville to see one, and watched a second from the fishing pier at the campground. Make sure you get to The Garlic for dinner, and Goodriches for yummy seafood. We’d return in a heartbeat! Bring bug spray for no see ums and mosquitoes!

Indian Mound Fish Camp is a special place; nestled on the banks of the Mosquito Lagoon, it’s an excellent location for your fishing adventures or just relaxing. We’ve stayed in the cabins multiple times and they are great. Reasonably priced, and if you bring your boat they have docks you can tie up and have easy access to water adventures. If you’re able to be there when they have live music on the tiki deck that’s a huge bonus. We will definitely be back soon!! One of my favorite destinations!

This is our incredible campsite at Indian mound campground. There were dolfins and manatees entertaining us all day. Constant breeze as well. We enjoyed watching little fishing boats, kayaks as well as big beautiful yachts passing by. There are so many paths to take your kayak through . We had a great time. Nice people, clean. Our favorite sites are#33,34,or36.

Had an amazing extended weekend with the wifey over at Indian Mound Fish Camp. We’re celebrating 10 years of our meet-cute (next month) and 6 years of marriage (4/20) this year. With everything going on this year, this was our first real getaway/vacation.Couldn’t of asked for a better place. Absolutely gorgeous and serene. Saw dolphins and even a manatee. Fishing. Bunches of night kayaking and even Max made it out with us one night too. Such a great little place and quaint cabin. Cant wait to go go back!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days with our 3 dogs and we loved it! If you want a quiet, clean, and friendly location along the water, you will love this place too! If you're a fisherman, bring your gear, or buy some here, because you'll want to spend some time fishing! We rented kayaks for a couple of hours and explored the canals. One day the manatees were all over the place, swimming and playing in the water around the dock, which was super fun to see. @crownedinstyle

Great location! Fishing, kayaking, boating. Some sites have docks, there is a boat ramp on site. Bait and store on site with super knowledgeable staff who treated everyone like they were #1 ! They go Over and above on customer service. The owners brought the campers warm cookies! Who does that! It was awesome! We saw some amazing nature.

What a phenomenal place to stay. Our only regret is that we coukd get a longer stay. After our Alaska trip we will return for a longer stay. Close to Publix, Elliots Steakhouse and all that New Smyrna Beach has to offer. We fished off the deck and the bait shop was stocked better that most bait shops. Really quite and love that it's family owned. Oh and the water pressure was awesome.

Indian Mound is an amazing place to spend a weekend, a week, a month, or even longer! Where else can you look out the front window of your camper and see dolphins swimming by in the river, and manatees in the lagoon out the back window? It is a bird watcher's paradise. We had fun shrimping and fishing with friends, and quite a few people caught a variety of fish right off the dock. The owners, Neil and Kelly, are super friendly and helpful, and Jamie in the store/bait shop goes out of her way to help her customers. Not far from Disney, Daytona, or the Kennedy Space Center. Local seafood restaurants are fantastic! A very pet-friendly campground with a dog park nearby. I could sit for hours (with sunscreen) on the porch of the cottage we rented (or out back) and read while watching the wildlife while my husband fished. You can rent kayaks from the bait store and go explore the lagoons, the river, and the nearby canals. You never know what you will see around the corner!
