EXTREMELY rude woman at register (Bridgette i believe), scarce products on shelves and REGULAR DRUG ADDICTS LOITERING OUTSIDE OF STORE. Manager seems to not only tolerate the junkies but be friends with them. Disgusting place to shop and sad that it's the only place in oak hill. Store needs shut down.

This store rocks. Always can find stuff and if i 🛒 can't find it Alec and Joe are Always available and very personable and helpful. They really make the store. And with a smile as soon as you come in store. I didn't have a $5 coupon but they had one.

I love the DG! It has everything you may want or need as far as the basics. One could live just fine if it was the only place they had to shop. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Hard to get in the front door without breathing cigarette smoke especially if you have asthma,I will never understand why they have to stand at the front door this is rude and inconsiderate. Had to stop here again today same fat person outside smoking.

I was surprised at the size of this store! The employee that was working was very helpful and nice the whole time we we're shopping. I had my 15yr hyper daughter with me, being very loud and giggling, thankfully no one said anything about it. There was one employee working the store that day, stocking shelf, running the cash register and helping customers and he did an awesome job making sure everyone was taken care of on a timely matter.

I like this place. It's right around the corner from where we stay so I just buzz to it anytime I need something small. The staff are friendly, except the one cashier See-era? Seira? Suriea? She judges me for getting coconut water. Haters gone hate.I'm jk, she's great, she needs a raise though. They all do. It's always busy here and they stand the whole time.

Cory is a very good employee anytime I have questions or need anything she is always there to help me. I think she should get a raise and she works very hard compared to the rest of them... She always has a smile on her face and you very nice and kind to people even when they're rude and disrespectful back. I highly recommend y'all give her a raise I really appreciate that you have a great employee like that working there. It's been a long time since y'all have had someone like that!! The minister is awesome very nice and kind and very polite compared to the other one. Recommend her to get a raise as well. and I'll be checking in to see if any one of the corporate store has reviewed them for a raise and if not I will have to go a lot farther and higher up and I will. Thank you for your wonderful employees and a new management!!! the only bad thing is that we have cops sitting out there not doing anything but wasting taxpayers money when they should be out doing their jobs, the arresting people, but it seems everyone in this town knows how to do that when it comes to the cops they think they're higher end but they need a reality check

I love Dollar General overall, but have to give it less than a stellar review because the exterior is always full of trash and rubbish. The employees are friendly and helpful and I would rate them a 5. The parking lot and bushes, however, are just full of trash. Also, the side lot looks suspiciously like homeless are using it for a campsite. Other nearby Dollar General Stores are much neater and clean outside. Please! Someone take the reins and clean our store up!

It's the handiest store to have near by as it carries most anything you'd need in a pinch. The Oak Hill store has difficulty keeping a lot of items in stock, which often take weeks, even months to appear again. Also the isles are often full of boxes & carts of inventory. It's like shopping thru an obstacle course. Some of the clerks are fantastic, knowledgeable and fast. Some are painfully slow and completely unhelpful, utterly unmotivated to even try to be. This store has a lot of busy spells with long lines, but it's also the only store of it's kind, in town. The next nearest grocery store is about 8 miles away, and the next closest Dollar store is a little further up the road then that. This Dollar store is not enforcing masks, even though their signage clearly states masks are required.

Its O.K. they do need to add more help,,, the staff has to be cashiers, have to stock and everything. The isles are blocked with box's, also its not very clean.... The Assistant Manager is a really good employee, she deserves recognition, for her loyalty, and hard work...

The workers seem nice enough. This place is good to get things fast. Also it's the only place that had been open after 8pm since this COVID-19 thing started up and the state closed down.The down side? The druggies like to hang here though. Especially after dark.

Service was good . except they had not dollar General bags to put stuff in . they did use garbage bags and gave an apology for inconvenience. Store had meny carts sitting in isles with manager doing her best to get thing put away. I'll give 5 stars for HARD WORK

Always check receipts at this store! I like this Dollar General in Oak Hill better than the others nearby. However I think they’re price gouging during this pandemic. Check your receipts before leaving the store. Prices advertised are not ringing up correctly. Much higher. Example DG facial tissue sign said $1.00 each. I was charged $1.75 each.

They have great deal on beer but coolers are empty and there is a pile of warm beer in stock. This happened last six times I was there in two weeks. When I pointed it out they said they had no room for it in coolers. AGAIN THE COOLERS WERE EMPTY EVERY TIME. Oak hill DG much better.

The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful if I asked him where something was he would take me right to it he knew exactly where everything was he was very helpful and very kind and very friendly and I am not even from Florida I'm from Wisconsin and we bought a trailer home so we're trying to get it all set up and buy all the essentials we need and he was he was generally very very nice I commend him for his helpfulness

It's okay. I've been in this one half a dozen times over the years out of necessity and it's usually pretty grubby and unkempt. Some of the employees aren't really following masking protocols I noticed this last time in; that's discouraging.

The new management is letting down customer service since coming to this store. The aisles are always cluttered with stock, the check out line is crazy ridiculous. This is my closest store but I may start driving a little further to avoid the frustration.

They are open till 10pm, clser to where i live than walmart, prices are average" an entire aisle top to bottom of items that are $1. The staff in tge store around my area are like anywhere else, but are freindky n not fake.

Terrible. Merchandise everywhere on carts. Shelves empty. Back row of store was so full of cart full of boxes couldn't even go down isle. Luckily I didn't trip and fall.

The helpful workers always point me in the right direction. I made three separate $25 purchases to fill a Backpack for the Bahamas Charity drive. Thank you Dollar General for the support. This private event gathered over 400 filled backpacks with the early ones and those gathered on Saturday, October 5. at the season opener of private concerts held at the Tin House Ranch, Oviedo FL.

Always a pleasure shopping at this store ! Always very friendly staff who enjoy their jobs, great selection, reasonable prices too ! Never had any issues shopping here and the staff always treats me like a neighbor 😁

The new manager here is terrible. If you are running late or in a hurry to get somewhere, don't go here. The minimum wait time for the line is about 20 minutes. I have to go hunt down a cashier almost every time I go in there. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This used to be a great place. Now it is awful. Shelves are half empty, items are on the floor and carts to be unloaded are blocking the isles.
