I like this place they have almost everything you need. From bait to hardware and many other useful things. I'd give it a 5 stars but this is the second time a employee walked up on me acting like I'm stealing. I had questions for items when I first came in I asked and got good service brought items up to front and left them at the counter. Then decided to browse the lures. Got a phone call. And while on the phone I had a employee walk up on me asking if I need help. Very insertive, I showed her what I was thinking about buying and she grabbed it and walk up to the front counter. I questioned. As if they though I was stealing or something since it was the second time. She claimed she is instructed to help customers. Yes the way it was done specially while I was on the phone felt another way. Could just be a mix up. But this so the only place I have ever gotten that feeling from. Not sure if I'll be back

I have been getting live shrimp here for a while. Tried a new bait shop in a different part of town and I was irritated at how bad the shrimp was at that place. Went back here and the shrimp is always in great shape. They take care of their tubs and live bait so you get something quality. Great place to get bait and tackle.

Been outside waiting for them to open, it is now 5:15 am and no one is here. Drove over an hour to get bait here and go fishing early, I called last night to make sure they would be open at 5am and they confirmed. Very disappointing. Won’t be making the mistake of going here again. Hire more reliable people to be here on time for customers and to run your business.

I’m sure the ownership here could care less about reviews. However, when it comes time to sell the business, I’m sure she’ll care. I came in looking for a shrimp net, and was immediately shunned. Bad attitude, and terrible customer service directly from the owner. I did not know she was the owner until I asked around town and figured it out. Hey lady, I hope you read this. I got my net down the road from a local net maker. You should sell your business.

This is a decent hardware store with bait and tackle supplies. They do U-haul rentals as well. The staff, especially the younger ones are not worth talking to, they lack experience, knowledge and how to properly treat customers. They appear to be hang-arounds instead of employees.Their prices are on the high side and most prices are not marked. I like the store but l have to help myself most of the time.

You shouldn't go that people doesn't know Service. price very high and the owner so funny, I was there Aug 15 2022 looking for chicken neck for crab fishing.Last week I paid 1.88 still price on mark, and they charged 2.99 which price on $1.88 i don't mine pay more, but the women said take or not I'm gonna put back to freezer.Ha, ha, ha, so funny, I've got necks from local meat mark. Paid 5times less.

Anchor hardware should change its name to angry hardware. It would be more fitting of the pathetic attitude of Georgia the pirate and Nadine the Irate. Seriously, the best product in this store is the advil. It helped me make it through my 15 minute visit. I also like the fact that they sell caulking supplies. I just feel like instead of placing it in the back of the store, you could place it in Nadine’s lipstick container.

This place is AMAZING!!!! We just moved from Samsula to south edgewater by the river and I was very happy to have found this 5 minutes from the house. Best bait and tackle store I’ve seen around here. Reminds me of the sea hag in Steinhatchee.

Anchor Hardware is my local store and I use them quite often. They have a huge selection of products for homes, fishing, gardens and more. They have a lot of the "hard to find" hardware pieces that the big box stores don't carry. The people are happy to help you find what you need, and with the selection, don't be afraid to ask for help. Looking for bait? They usually have a great selection of shrimp, baitfish and crabs, along with all of your other necessary fishing supplies. Just remember, this is a family owned store, so their prices might be a little higher than the box stores, but unless there is a huge difference, I'll happily pay the extra to support a local.

The store is great as far a selection and they usually have some type of bait fish. The problem is they NEVER open on time. Im typing this post at 530 am sitting in the parking lot and still no one is here. It would be ok if it was a one or two time thing but they have been late opening 9 out if the 10 times ive been here. They say they open at 5 am every day but dont count on that if you have somewhere to be or wanting to get on the water early. They are a decent bait store other than that.

Hard to find a better bait store in a thirty mile radius. Anything you could every want or need under one roof. Let’s not forget they also have a better hardware dept. than anyone else around. I prefer to spend my money with a local business that is a true community member. Keep up the good work.

Usually my go to hardware store!! I just called and asked if they carried plastic drywall corner bead.... The lady asks me if it was Tape. Caulk. Paint...etc... Said she has no idea what drywall corner bead is...🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Very well stocked store and very nice people. We were here for bait, but walked around a bit to see. They have any kind of hardware you are looking for. Much better to use a locally owned store that is part of the community. Our bait was a great price and the size shrimp we needed to fish close by at the Riverbreeze county park.

Called the night before right before they closed and asked of they had shrimp for when they opened. The guy on the other line said yes sure do I told him ask because we went there the weekend before and they didn't have any . he told me we got shrimp. So we get there at 5:15am 15 min after open all they had was baby shrimp and maybe if they had 3 dozen if that smh . now I have to go way out my way to get bait . all he had to do was tell me we got some not many but no he didn't he sounded like they had lots. Been here a couple times the lady's working are not very nice they are pretty rude as well. I will take my business elsewhere from now on rather go oit my way then go back

They have a great selection and prices. I've never been disappointed for anything in there selection of hardware from electrical to plumbing and in between. they even beat home depots prices on my last purchase. knowledgeable staff with great service.
