Good variety, customer service is poor to non-existent. Cashiers walk away as they see you approaching the checkout line carrying pet food or any items. Good luck getting someone to help you.

I took my dog today with appointment and was rejected beacuse Marck groomer last time I came , which was the first time he cut mu dog, I asked him to correct few things I didn't like in hair cut. I did it very polite ,but today he didn't take my dog. It is unbelievable that if you are a faithful customer for more that 2 years ,just because you ask for a correction in a style of grooming you are rejected from a appointment for grooming. This is unjust... I don't think owners of Petco would agree with the lack of professionalism and childish egos .

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE, ESPECIALLY WITH MATIA AT SALON GROOMING, I went to this place for a hair cut for my dog, Maria was the stylist who help me…. This is the worst place you can visit my dog had a few tangled and She cut it with the lowest machine they had…. It’s was horrible…. The first day I visited this place for grooming and it’s going to be the last time, better go to another place or a truck for grooming…. I felt robbed, I never will come back to this place.

If I could leave 0, I would. Do not bring your dog ANYWHERE around this establishment. It is truly a waste of time & money. I wouldn’t recommend it if it were even the last place on earth. Awful customer service, very rude, they just want a quick buck and that’s it. Look for anywhere else, pay the extra $30- it is worth it and it will give you and your furry friend a much happier and overall better experience. STAY AWAY

This was my first time coming to this location. I came to get my dog a bath before thanksgiving. Robert was thee best! My dog only got a bath (minus the cut), and he looked brand new! Robert did a great job cleaning his ears and tending to his very sharp nails. He said my dog did very well compared to other schnauzers which let me know my dog felt comfortable with him. I will be going back to Robert for a cut next month!

Terrible!!! I took my dog to cut his nails , and a bath . I told the lady that the most important is to cut his nails , that’s the reason we always take him there, we afraid to hurt him, that’s why we take him to “experts “ !!! Wrong!!! I went to pick him up , and Maria told me she could not cut his nails, and that he even tried to bite her!?!?!!!!! He always goes there or to the competition to cut the nails and never had any complain , he is a gentle and kind dog!!!! Maria had a bad vibe from the moment I took him there , and my wife felt Exacly the same way when she went to pick him up!!!! We end up with a $84 bill for a bath… that he did not need it, we just took him for the nails . Very disappointed!!! Maria should not be dealing with dogs more than 10 pounds!!! Never going back!!!

We stopped by Petco to find carriers for our 2 chihuahuas. They had somewhat of a small selection and not exactly what we needed but they were stocked with a lot of other pet items. Good to know.

Very disappointed. I took my 7 yo miniature schnauzer in for first time to Petco for grooming. When I picked him up, his hair looked a little bit long around the legs, and didn't really seem like they had been trimmed. His beard had been trimmed and looked decent. His eyebrows were cut way too short and lost the traditional "Schnauzer" look that he came in with. I also noticed that the groomer did not trim along the full length of his back. I can clearly see where the groomer stopped with the number 10 blade and left the remainder of the hair untouched. She did not clean up his sanitary area and I'm having to clean him after he urinates because his hair was left long in that area and hairs get sticky with urine. I do a decent job of staying on top of hair brushing at home. Within 3 days of the grooming job, he was full of matts around his legs and underside. That is unusual for him. We didn't think much of it and brushed out the matts, but two days later, he was full of matts again. Again, we brushed out the matts, and again, two days later full of matts again. This has NEVER happened to this dog. our only conclusion is that they used poor quality shampoo, or perhaps didn't rinse it out completely leaving behind a sticky residue causing it to continue to matt. I had been warned about not going to Petco many times. I wish I would have listened.

New to north Miami, right next door to Petco. My cats been having anxiety, urinating in my plants and clawing everything at home. The sales associate Chance helped me find some remedies; Hempseed cat treat and a pheromone diffuser plug in. Both of which are working fantastic. He’s relaxed now. She also had me sign up for vital care membership and it saved me $13.

Brittany is the best groomer! She’s super friendly and is so good with my dog. Everytime I bring my dog to petco she knows and gets so excited to see Brittany. Highly recommend!

This was my first time taking our Shepherd-mixes to a professional groomer and I have to say that Robert was absolutely AMAZING! The dogs have never looked better, shinier, and happy. We paid extra for the de-shedding and it was money well spent. Highly Recommended.

If you have a dog with A special cut, I can't recommend this place enough! I have a challenging giant schnauzer and they are so good with him. My dog gives hugs during his visits and they take it in stride. The staff truly loves dogs and they are very honest. Cannot recommend the staff enough. All have groomed my dog and he always looks gorgeous

This has been our preferred Petco location for the last couple of years (from picking up dog food to training courses with Stacy) but yesterday was our first time taking our girl for grooming services and it was simply fantastic, 5 stars!Stephen (the groomer) took the time to go over every single detail and explain everything throughly. He was great and we are definitely going back for future grooming services.
