We are so very thankful for Driftwood Kennels! The owner, Rita, and staff Danielle and Meghan are AMAZING! They truly love animals and have a special way with them. We are confident our pups are well taken care of while they are there. It is so cool to arrive and have the staff actually kneel down to greet our pups and for the pups to run happily up to see them.A special thanks to Danielle who went out of her way in helping ease our anxiety of having to leave our new young puppy for the first time. He did awesome ( we knew he was in great hands) and his siblings once again had a great stay!

I can not say enough good things about this place. Staff is amazing. My dog is difficult, and they handle her with ease. In case she has a bad day, they do offer no touch kennels. I'm so glad my friend Amy recommended this place. Totally thrilled for my dogs next visit!

I wouldn't give them any stars . Our dog died 2 days after being boarded here. They never called our emergency contacts when she became ill. Temp of 105. Don't trust them with your dog or any animal.

Not recommended. My dog came home with 105.1.temperature. In hospital and she passed away. No response from thekennel.ive called kennel to why they did not call our emergency contact and said we don't do that unless dog.is laying down and can't get up. Very unsympathetic and refused to give me owners name. Gave them vets information and blamed her passing on us. In order to do this post I had to post one star. They don't deserve it. I wanted other owners to be aware. Both of our dogs were filthy.our little Bichons leg wakennel advised that they dont call emergency contacts. Then why do they ask for it.s completely raw. Our hearts are brokenAnd angry how kennel has responded.

Have been taking my dogs here for almost 7 years, I can NOT say enough wonderful things about the staff! All I have to do is say any of their names and my dogs are at the door ready to go! When we get there they can not wait to get inside the building. They are very kind to all the pets and they treat them all like their own. I HIGHLY recommend Driftwood Kennels to anyone who wants to know their fur baby is in a loving safe environment when they need to be boarded or just for day care too!

Driftwood is a wonderful, caring place. My Tibetan Terrier loves coming here. The staff clearly loves the furry visitors. Highly recommend them.

Have been taking my German Shepard there for 5 years and it is the only place I will go. Love the no other dog contact policy and the staff treats my dog great. Cannot recommend them enough.

We love Driftwood Kennels. My dogs are always happy and run into to see the ladies when we drop them off for a stay. And they are happy when we pick them up. So we know they are well cared for.

They take great care of my dogs Dexter and Zia and they’ve been there quite a lot recently! They don’t seem upset when we bring them in. They have been able to book them fairly last minute as well.

Staff are awesome here. We took our dog's here for a couple of days visits just to see how things would go and they did so good that we definitely decided to bring them back to stay over for a few days as the dogs did great there and so were the staff. I DO highly recommend them. You will be impressed by how clean they keep this place. Just ask for a tour. We've been to a few around Venice and throughout our travels and Driftwood Kennels is the best.

I would say Driftwood is a good kennel. My dog is not too thrilled when we show up but it's understandable as we are leaving him for a few days. The pricing is below average for the area which is good. They offer a bath before pickup which I recommend as my doggo smelled like pee.

This place is awesome!! The staff is so friendly, they go out of the way to accommodate dogs with special needs (such as medication) and made me feel that my dogs were going to be safe and well cared for. I would highly recommend this Kennel to anyone, especially people who are hesitant in leaving their dogs with "just anyone". This place definitely exceeded my expectations! It is a relatively small place with nice runs. We boarded our 2 special needs dogs there and the gals, Rita, Danielle and others, were absolutely great! They were organized and took care of the dogs and their medicines, and when I called to ask about them, they always knew how they were doing, if they ate, etc.

I have been to Driftwood many times. Mostly for kenneling. But this week I had to put my 16.5 yr old cat. I took her remains to Driftwood for cremation. In 2 days I picked up her urn. A beautiful box with her name on it. There facility is beautiful and the staff so comforting. And their price, the lowest in our area. Much lower than the vets. If you are riding on Laurel Rd, just look at the facility. Amazing people and staff.

I have lost three corgis somewhat unexpectedly and I have always brought them here. They are extremely sympathetic and kind, always letting me have plently of private time with my dearly departed. I highly recommend them to anyone who has lost a pet. I also find them to be somewhat less expensive and with a better experience. Their beautiful boxes are better than any other place I have seen.

Very friendly staff that is always welcoming and remembers us and our dogs. I have toured the facilities - without an appointment - and the dog runs /kennels are clean and spacious. They take special care and are always friendly.

We have boarded our dog Kimber there a number of times and have been completely satisfied. The staff is very pleasant. Kimber has been going there this week for daycare as we are having the interior of our house painted and it is working extremely well. She is all signed up to be boarded a couple of times the next couple of months.
