Prices on certain products are good but their ads are deceptive since they never have some of the sales items. This week they advertised Perdue chicken wings but they never have any in fact this store doesn’t even have a space for them. It’s a new twist on bait and switch they bait you to come for the item and you end up buying other stuff. Maybe it’s time for the government to make a law stating if they don’t have the product they have to give you a rain check.

Nokomis Florida Sunday 4:45 PM 12-10-23. When the cashier was asked not to put groceries on the 'baby butt seat area 'of the check out cart, the response was snarky. The rudeness continued to check out. When questioned, I was told her loud voice was not in her control? I suggested to focus on the attitude adjustment, rather than the voice volume. No more NOKOMIS as nearby Venice Aldi's provides pleasant customer service.

Prices are excellent. Store is clean. Do not have a huge selection, like Publix, but the prices are much lower. Thought putting a quarter to get a shopping cart was kind of kooky, but the more I thought about it, making customers bring back their shopping carts (to get the quarter back) the more I thought it made sense. Just remember to bring your own bags, they do not provide any.

I love aldi... but the store by me, on Siesta Dr. Sarasota has more empty shelves than full. Why is that? I drive to Osprey to do my weekly shopping and use Siesta Dr for quick pick-ups.. which hasn't served me well. I'm an Aldi believer but very disappointed with my local store.. if you haven't tried it, you should but not the Siesta drive store..

Pretty nice, newer store, about what I would expect for a typical Aldi. I shopped here twice while I was on vacation, and both times when I got home and checked my receipt, items were rung up incorrectly - the signs in the store and what the register said the prices were was not the same. It just ended up being about $3 worth of overcharge between the two trips, not enough to go back and haggle over, but something to note. If I was a regular shopper here that would add up. Next time I'm in town I'd either go to a different Aldi, or check my receipt before I take my cart and go to the bagging area.

The only reason I keep coming back is for the prices, otherwise I would never shop at here. Cashiers look like they are depressed, so cold and dead looking. Just do yourselves a favor and put self checkouts please.

Very clean and organized. Truly low prices. Went here with my daughter for the first time today. Nice that we could pack our own groceries at a big counter. Very different experience. We even bought a nice new bed for our cat, King Louie. Nice selection of produce and meats. I was presently surprised.But, I still love my Trader Joe’s ❤️

Love this store for quality and price. The employees are kind and hardworking. Even the customers are polite and share a sense of value. Some products are hard to find as there is no consistency in placement. New discoveries are found every visit. Looking forward to having one in Venice, FL.

Seems clean. With as busy as it is every time I go in it's never completely empty. Staff is polite even tho they deal with rude people all day. I will continue to shop there, but I've never been in 1 place with so many rude and pushy shoppers! I give those workers so much credit, they deal with those people with a smile. I always make it a point to express my appreciation for their patience, and thank them. I hope I'm not the ONLY customer that does that!

It's so great having an Aldi's nearby. I always loved going there when I lived up north. This location is larger than the ones I went to years ago. They also have really good products. It's not just weird, random brands. Yes, there are generic brand but not like some other low priced stores. They also have a ton of brand name products. The prices are amazing. I just need to remember my reusable bags and change for the baskets! I'm very impressed with this store.

Everything you expect from Aldi. Brand New store opened today. Employees will find their groove. Everyone seemed intense. Manager was very nice. I always forget my quarter so thank goodness they weren't charging for carts on grand opening. Be prepared with your own bags to bag your own groceries. Love their products.

I just love this store. I started shopping years ago in my hometown of Milwaukee, Wi 25+ years ago...... what an awesome history and transformation. Still the lowest price around with quality that can't be beat. I moved to Minnesota and shopped there when they came to town. About 6-7 years ago, I told a manager I wouldn't need to shop anywhere else if they got organic produce and meat....... needless to say, I only shop elsewhere if I need the convenience.

I went to the Aldi in Nokomis off Laurel Rd to get milk. I went to the register to pay where Michelle checked me out. She was extremely rude and when I had to pay her in change tried to refuse my payment. i told her i need this for my children. Sometimes change is all people have. She was outright hostile and with a sarcastic tone said fine I'll take it. I was very upset and shocked at her poor customer service and attitude. Had it not been for the prices I would never shop there. I gave them 2 stars for the prices. If it was for customer service they would get none. Make sure to pay with dollar currency or card thus preventing you from their poor customer attitude and service.

At first I couldn’t understand the hype. Coming from Chicago this was not the same Aldi I remembered. It took me a while before my first visit and boy was I thrilled. The store is kept extremely clean, very friendly employees, great prices of course and great selection! Love that all of their produce is organic!

It was a GREAT visit, first a very sweet child gave us his cart, when we tried to give him a quarter he and his family said not necessary. We found most of what we came for. Store was clean employees pleasant. Cart returned and passed on.

I had my first unpleasant checking out experience ever today. I had my groceries separated by 3 feet from the person in front of me. She grabbed them and started ringing them up with their order. She said I was not even supposed to put my groceries on the belt until after she finished the other person. She mumbled and grumbled the whole time we were separating our orders. Everyone was in disbelief of her grouchy attitude. I will never get in her line again! Still giving 4 stars because I love your store!

Love Aldi’s great value, excellent products and really excellent selection of Chocolates. Their selection of fruit is very good and the quality of the fruit is the best around. Their decaf coffee is extraordinary and I don’t like Decaf. Great place to shop.

I love Aldi! It is everything you need without the fancy price tags. You will save money and time shopping here. The quality surpasses any of the chain big name stores and I save at least $50 a week shopping here. An average 2 weeks of food is about $150 for 2...and I don't scrimp...shrimp, crab legs, fresh fish, steak, produce all are great. There's a terrific selection of frozen vegetarian also. They have a nice wine and craft beer selection too. Love this store!

I've been an ALDI shopper for about 4 years now, first in NY and now here in FL. This is my 'go to' places for packages items (absolute lowest prices for the quality) but I go elsewhere for fresh fruit and veggies. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart (you'll see) and your own bags (they don't bag items here). I think the folks there are very pleasant and helpful and you can score some fantastic deals!

Cashiers are so worried about speed and shoving you out the door that they just pile all of your items on top of the delicate produce. Efficiency is one thing, but there should be some training on proper food handling if this produce is meant to be in good condition when the customer leaves.

Aldi is my favorite place to shop. I love their brands. Everything I have tried is just as good or better than name brand stuff and way cheaper. Oh and they have cookies that taste just like girl scout cookies but less than half the price which is dangerous but delicious.

My experience at Aldi's food store is always excellent a very clean atmosphere very exceptional people that work there are always helpful. And I don't mind the $0.25 for the shopping carts because they are always didn't good condition and don't get rolled out on the highway where they don't belong. It's nice to have the store in Nokomis.
