Took my teacup Maltese in today for grooming. Came back to find her looking like this. How can a groomer not know how to cut a specific breed? I had taken her one other time and this was not what I got!I was so shocked to see her that I couldn’t say a word and even left a tip because I was so addled. I’m just so upset. After reading some of the reviews, I’m not wasting my time even contacting them. Never again.

The staff here truly loves animals! I can tell, my dog can tell haha we order our food here all the time for my pup and they are always so happy to do so! Will be coming here for as long as we can! :)

Took my dog here for a grooming because when I’ve shopped there they were very nice people. Please do not take your dog here to be groomed. I was so upset when i picked him up. My child could have done a better job. First of all he was not bathed, They cut him or i should say hacked him so terribly he was patchy and completely in even. I could have literally done a better job and i suck at grooming. ( hence why i pay people to do it)

It's a great place to get your pets needs. Last time I was there I got a dog caller that was reasonably cheep. I got Tony's nails done in just a few min, easy. Best around.

Critters Corner it's been are local pet store as long as I can remember. In this day and age a small business has to top notch to be around as long as Critters Corner has been. My pets say Thank you as well.

Critter's Corner is the Best Place you can go for advice about your pet. The other day I notice a bump on by bird Doodle who is a yellow nape amazon, I called the crew up and ask Lana what I should do? She said take her to Ravenswood Veterinary they have an great Avian Vet there Dr Anderson I did and it was the best advice ever. Thanks Lana and crew for always being there. Doodle will have to have surgery but I feel she is in the best of hands there... Hugs Carolyn! PS they always have amazing Christmas treats for all the animals in your family....

If I could give this place 0 stars I would my dads dog got groomed here this past week and they cut a piece of his ear and it was bleeding all night . This place had no care in the world of our concerns plus he was not completely groomed anyhow and all they said was sorry he moved and we clipped him!! This is not acceptable!!! Please DO NOT take your pets to this place they are very unprofessional!

They have everything you need but the owner gave me a hard time about her "large" crickets when I asked for inch long. Too then proceed to give me tiny crickets after already charging me saying they were "fresh". I didn't need fresh born, I asked for inch long.

Brought our 2 year old dog in to get his nails cut this morning. He doesn’t like getting them done, as most dogs don’t but usually continually lifts his paws while he’s on a leash getting them done in previous places we’ve brought him. I watched the two girls drag my dog across the floor out the back when he wasn’t standing still for them so he was out of my sight which raised red flags straight away. I stood by the gate so they knew I was there and after a few minutes of hearing him squeal one girl came out to ask could we come back to calm him down. I was SHOCKED at what I walked into. One girl was on the floor with my dog in a chock-hold, his back legs between her legs and her arms around his neck and chest to get him to stay still which obviously made him more frantic. The other girl was trying to cut his nails and once it touched his nail he squealed in pain like I’ve never heard him before. I immediately took him out of that situation and left the store. I have never experienced something like that and would dread to think what they do to the dogs when the owners are not there. Extremely unprofessional and clearly not animal lovers or throughly trainer in their profession. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Do not send your dogs here.

Wonderful staff. Always super helpful. I come so often they always keep a second big bag of cat food of a rare brand that they don't normally sell much of, so they only ever have one bag out front at a time. I walk in and the nice ladies go get my second bag, not a word spoken. It's a wonderful staff and a very family personal environment. I go here for all my non-traditional pet needs.

Stacey is AWESOME. She just groomed my Husky today and my dog is very sweet but very bashful and I get nervous leaving her with just anyone. I can truly say that Stacey took amazing care of my pup all day and did SUCH A GREAT JOB grooming her. My pup looked like a different dog when I got her back, like she just got back from the spa.Stacey took her time and got all of the matting out of my dogs fur and treated her like she was her own. Luna and I are very pleased with this NSB local groomer! Thank you Stacey and staff for such a great experience! :) I would recommend to all my friends and family!

Visited for my furbabies to have nails trimmed. The staff & groomer are wonderful! Very happy with the groomer did a great job, my furbabies were very comfortable having their nails done. I will be visiting this pet shop for all my furbabies needs!

So I’m a little sad to be writing this review because the store itself seemed great and the staff was SO nice and my Aussie Delta LOVED the girls at the counter. But the groomer is horrendous. So story time:I’m 35 weeks pregnant and I’m in the middle of moving from a small apartment into a house. My poor pup has been WAY overdue for a cut and nail trim and my baby shower was today. I really wanted him to come to the party so I last minute called around to groomers in the area and unfortunately for us, this place answered. The groomer over the phone was fairly rude that I had a 1 year old Aussie for her saying it’s “like grooming a squirrel in a bag”. My dog doesn’t enjoy being groomed but that shouldn’t be a surprise, you should be equipped to handle squirmers. I get here, and she makes ME HELP HER HOLD HIM. I’m 35 weeks pregnant, I’m paying you to do this. The only upside to me staying to help was the fact that any time my dog would squirm, she would hit him, yell mean things at him, GRABBED his muzzle a few times really rough. I’m livid at this point but she already started shaving him. Using the shortest blade she had. If I had left, she DEFINITELY would have abused him way more than she did. I wanted to throat punch her. She’s disgustingly unprofessional, she didn’t have any sterilizing equipment there, my dogs beautiful coat is BUTCHERED. I’m pissed. Please please please don’t leave your fur babies with this fowl woman. She needed to retire years ago. I sat in my car and cried for an hour because it was so traumatic. Don’t. Do. It.

Unfortunately I had an absolutely horrible experience. I dropped my 2 cats off at 9am for their scheduled appointment. One was to just get a bath and the other, which is completely declawed, was to be shaved. I tried calling 3 times in the afternoon to see if they were ready to be picked up and only got a busy signal. I was working so I sent my mom at 4:30 to pick them up but they were not ready yet. She went back after 6:00 p.m. and my long haired cat is literally only half shaved. They were there for 9 hours! They charged my mom $140! I called to say I either wanted a refund or my cat to be finished and they basically told me there was nothing they could do that the groomer works for herself. If she couldn't do the job she should have stopped and not charged me.
