We are new to the area and have been here a month. In that time I think I’ve been here four times?? The owner is absolutely wonderful and picked out the perfect freeze-dried food for my raw-fed GSD who went on a travel-induced eating strike. Ava absolutely LOVES her new food and happily scarfs it down! Let’s be real, she also loved visiting the store and sitting for treats and picking herself out a cod skin.I am extremely picky about what my girl eats and it’s such a relief to have a local store where I can trust all of the treats!Could not recommend more highly. So happy this is an option in NSB that is so much better than the chain pet stores. It’s the only option for us!

Fantastic owners and staff! Very knowledgeable and helpful. They helped me switch my old Yorkie to a raw diet and some really great treats. After a few weeks on his new food he has gone from walking about 30 yards and then sitting down to be carried, to walking a mile. Highly recommend for anyone who has a furry friend.

I visited this store for the first time today and was amazed at the quality of holistic foods and great prices. They have almost anything a pet owner or dog trainer would want.In addition, Amanda provided great customer service. She helped me find items and treated me and other customers with courtesy and a big smile. I'm definitely going to keep going back!

Amazing staff and so helpful. We were visiting from CT and our pooch had a little sick tummy. The staff helped us with some suggestions and he was right as rain! And Bram even picked out his own toys! Great place!!!

Cap n Lu’s has everything we need! Being professional dog trainers, we go to this store for our personal dog’s food, training treats, supplements, and so much more! Went to this store today to see if I could find some good food and treats for my diabetic and pancreatic cat. The gal working was very helpful and knew exactly what would be great for my cat. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended!

I love this place! They have freshpet. Bella, Gretchen and Jake's favorite food. Lots of cool stuff, like the water bottle that turns into a drinking bowl for dogs at the beach or on a walk. Great store!
