Everyone knows I don’t need anymore yarn but my daughter said, “we’re here, you’ve never been, you should check it out”. I went, I saw and yes, I bought. It’s a very nice shop with yarns I’ve never seen in person. A nice selections of buttons and other notions. I was welcomed immediately after opening the door. Carol was very helpful and friendly. All that being said, it will always be a stop for me when we’re in Destin.

Sweet little shop with a good selection of yarns at different price points…something for everyone! The owner was helpful and attentive to get us started, but left us alone to shop as we pleased. Nice little break from the beach, and some “souvenir” yarn to knit up when I get home.

We LOVED this yarn store! My teenage daughter crochets and the lady showed her helpful websites on her laptop, great tips, and showed her beautiful yarn. We went in to buy yarn and got a whole experience.We plan to go back again before we leave Destin. 🏝️💕

I stopped here on vacation and was very disappointed. I bought 2 skeins of yarn though because I made the trip. I had to pay 4 percent more because I used my charge card! The yarn was not discounted or on sale. Second of all, both skeins of yarn were a nightmare to wind. I’ve never purchased such inferior yarn! Boy what a mistake I made.I would definitely not recommend this store.

My husband were visiting the area for a few days and I was thrilled to see a local yarn shop. Due to the limited hours, I planned a visit to the shop on Wednesday. The traffic on the highway the shop is located is under construction so , I ended up getting there about 20 minutes before closing. I entered the shop and the owner was ringing up a customer. She didn’t welcome me but told me she was closing in 5 minutes, 10-15 minutes before closing. I just grabbed a couple of skeins of sock yarn. Even then the owner told me she really had to get going. In addition there is a fee for credit card purchases, cash and checks preferred. I have been to yarn shops all over the country and always enjoy visiting and exploring new yarns. This owner did not welcome me and wanted me to leave. I wish I had just turned around when I walked in the door. Change your hours if you leave early every day. Maybe local patrons feel welcomed but not a pleasant experience for someone from out of town.

Well, she may be my sister but, this is a wonderful shop. I’ve been to MANY and Carol’s variety of color and fiber is perfect with lots of samples ( she knit) and stock that allows you to buy enough to complete your project. She also prepares for travelers with projects and some kits that allow you to travel enjoyably while you knit. It’s not the other way around is it??? It’s well worth a stop. Tell her I said hi!

Had a great conversation with the owner while my wife shopped. She was so friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed talking with her. She had some great recommendations for my wife as she is just starting to try her hand at knitting. Highly recommend this store for any of your yarn and knitting needs!

Love love this little yarn shop. The owner is friendly, helpful and feels like visiting a long time friend. The abundant selection of fine yarns will make anyone want to join the knitter and crochet club. There are not many brick and mortar yarn shops left and buying online robs the opportunity to touch before you buy. The price of fine yarn is reasonable and comparable to online prices. The owner displays many completed pieces to kick off your next master piece, she carries everything you will need, from patterns to beads.

This yarn shop is a must on your trip to Destin if you are a knitter or crocheter. Carol was so much fun helping me find a new project. She opened my world to a new technique I cannot wait to start. She is very knowledgeable and so enthusiastic and friendly. Her enthusiasm is contagious!

I was extremely excited to visit the Destin Yarn shop. It was my first trip back home in 15 years and I was itching to find some amazing yarn. We were in the shop for 35-45 minutes and we were never asked if we needed any assistance. My daughter goes to all the yarn stores I visit and is always encouraged to feel the yarns before buying. She was chastized twice for touching the yarn while we perused the different yarns available. I really wanted to ask the owner if there were any local indie dyers that she stocked because I felt that would be the perfect thing to have as a souvenir from our trip to Destin. Instead, I was offended by the rudeness and we left without purchasing a single item. I'm fairly certain I've never left a yarn shop empty handed before.

The shop owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, helped me find the types of yarn I was looking for. Her shop is just as lovely with all the finished work on display and quality yarns for sale that can't be found in local craft stores.

What a lovely yarn shop. I was really impressed with the wide variety of beautiful yarns you can't find anywhere else nearby. There are lots and lots of gorgeous samples made up for alot of inspiration. The owner is very helpful and super nice. I would shop there regularly if I lived closer!

Love this shop! Loads of great yarns from basic baby yarn to super luxury OMG yarns. I have never seen a shop get samples worked up so quickly, and somehow her samples are all projects that I want to make myself.This shop stays busy, and while I'm not a regular (I go maybe once or twice a year) I get treated like one.Lots of notions - buttons, beads, needles, bags, everything you need to start and finish a project.So, so, so easy to buy enough yarn for a months-long hibernation.

What a fun yarn shop! Mrs. Carol is so nice and such a sweetheart! After talking to a few friends (and they all said the same thing) it’s unanimous This is the best place for yarn! They have the best quality and good prices! ;)

I absolutely love this store! I have been shopping here for years. The owner is so knowledgeable and so incredibly sweet. Every time I go in a am warmly greeted and helped with any project! This little shop is honestly a gem! You absolutely have to stop by for all materials for your next project!

Nice yarn, love malibrigo and Lang. I've visited yarn shops in over 30 states, Scotland and Hawaii. This was the very first time I was accused of squeezing yarn. I truly was trying to see how many yards and size of yarn. I was not squeezing it. Had the yarn not been nice I would have left because the owner was not close to being nice. I'm still kind of shocked by her words. I bought the accused squeezed yarn btw and she even said it's ok to squeeze it now that you bought it....really? You were across the room so please dont even be so rude to accuse.

I'm a crocheter and was dismayed that the store owner had no crocheting supplies nor had any crochet patterns I could look at. I think a proper yarn shop should aim for customers of all yarn crafts instead of merely one. It seems like knitting is more common, but the craft of crochet can hardly be called obscure.
