Another successful trip to D&E True Value. Had exactly what I needed.But.Update... Over the past year, D&E, along with the rest of America has experienced some wild inflation. As a result, when prices rise, D&E has decided NOT to update prices in the shelves and bins of the things we want to buy. When you get to the checkout, what rings up and whatthey expect you to pay is another price that's different than on the shelf. Unless YOU notice and call them out, who knows what you are paying.They will honor the price on the shelf but they have shifted the identification of the increase to you. Otherwise, you pay whatever the unadvertised price the computer has.I do not think this is right and D&E needs to address this.

Ahhh....the joy of finding exactly what you were looking for. Finally, a place that has everything. You need to fix it...they have it. You need to clean it...they have it. You need to kill it....they have it. You need to catch it....yup, they have it.Such friendly staff. I was so excited to walk in, find exactly what I was looking for and walk out in under 5 minutes.

Has a gun a gun store inside. This hardware store has very reasonable prices. My "go to" place for hardware and I am glad it is here. The big box stores are 17 miles from my house in either direction. Plus the big box stores do not have the genuine customer service this store has.

This is a perfect place to get home maintenance items. Last week my shed roof was leaking and I needed to patch it with something until I got a new roof. I was cheerfully helped and got a couple tubes of roofing tar patch that worked great. The people at this store are always helpful and the prices are very competitive.

Locally owned and so close to the house makes this store a staple. They have a lot of different things for all types of projects at the house. Their paint is superior. I've done a lot of painting and bought paint from all the big box doors and paint stores but this paint is better and less expensive. I also love how they could do a custom color. You always get good service here and while some things are definitely more expensive the amount of time and gas it would take to go get the same thing somewhere else makes it even.

Prices are sky high, not much of a selection, and bc people have stolen from there they treated me like a criminal also. Messed up bc the cashier knew me. Wanted me to leave my backpack up front, if that's the case every woman should leave her purse up front and that isn't gonna happen. So they are profiling.

It's up in very North Brevard county..I was shocked to see.. they have some Flooring and tile supplies .. very convenient..Go around the corner and shoot your Bow .. buy some arrows.. bait nets , shrimp lights nets ...Amen pass the Ammo .. they got that alsoOh I almost forgot to mention ...Looks like there is a liquor store very North endDidn't go in ... I'm sure they got some Whiskey on stand by ..

Went in to the store with my son today as I was on the hunt for some marigolds. They had a beautiful rack full of them just outside the front door, no price listed on any of the plants or flowers was their first mistake. I went inside, stood in line so I could ask the woman working behind the counter how much are they. She immediately caught an attitude with me, honestly I was taken aback by her attitude as I was nice, friendly and simply asked... how much are the marigolds on the rack right here? She cut me off several times, drilling me about how they have several different types of containers and I kept trying to explain to her it was just a little black 6 pack container, meanwhile she was flipping a page back and forth in my face showing me all the different containers they had. My son trying to diffuse the situation ran outside and grabbed one and she snapped at both of us saying "I can't scan a container! ", I said well he's bringing it in so you can see what we want to purchase. She saw the container, scanned her sheet and snapped the price of $3.78 at me. At this point I had enough, so we left. This woman should NOT be the first person you encounter when you walk in the door, I recommend this company stick her in back unloading trucks. She has zero customer service skills and we will not shop here again

Do not buy your firearms here!!! I bought a brand new hand gun from them. I spent just under $600. The gun will not feed ammo through either of the brand new magazines that came with it. One day after I purchased the gun I took it back to the store (where none of them were wearing masks during a pandemic) and I asked them to exchange it for a working gun. I was I told no. They offered me a $50 gift certificate and told me to contact the gun manufacturer with my problems. Basically, here is $50, the gun is your problem now!As I tried to discuss customer service the salesman became belligerent! Actually said, "oh, we're going to fight", from behind the counter. He obviously has little man issues.They do not stand behind the guns they sell. I’m out $600 for a unusable firearm. The gun manufacturer is closed until the first week of January. I would not buy a sharp stick from this place.I wonder if this is the standard business practice for True Value Hardware. I’ll be contacting their corporate office next.

I went to D&E hardware/true Value in Mims and turned in the proper paperwork for donations , I belong to a non profit organization that provides Veterans on hunts and fishing trips at no cost to the veterans. I have went by D&E three different times since the paper work was turned in for donations two weeks ago with no response. The donations was for gift packages that I was trying to get together for the veterans as a way to say thank you. I will never step foot in this establishment again. This donation request was for 5 veterans. Tractor Supply in Mims did donate and will have my business for this day forward. Thank you D&E for your support for our well deserving veterans.

My son bought a bow and it is too heavy and he wanted to return it. We were now told this is a non-returnable item. He was not told this and the only sign said no returns on used items. This is new has never been used. Then they say they will return it for a 20% restocking fee, that's about $200.00 bucks. He was never told he could not return this. And the set up they did wan not even complete, they only adjusted the draw length and weight. Beware if you purchase from there, they expect you to know the store policy if you haven't been there before!

We go here to get our propane. The staff is always very nice. We used to go to TSC for our propane but we always had a problem...I would go in and tell them we needed propane and they would call for someone and 10 minutes (sometimes longer), my husband would still be waiting and I'd ask again...after several times them calling, they say..."oh, I'm sorry, there's no one here that can pump propane right now". REALLY!!?? We go to D & E (True Value) and they ALWAYS have someone there to pump propane and we are in & out in approximately 10 minutes.

On editI rescind my previous positive review.The level of ignorance at this location astounds me.It is not only difficult to find someone there that has even a basic knowledge of hardware items, today when I walked in not one of the employees were wearing a mask while Florida is peaking during the pandemic.I have put up with the continued lowered level of service for years now because it is nice to have a local hardware and gun store. Today I was ready to spend hundreds of dollars but drove to Titusville instead and will no longer shop here.

Good neighborhood hardware store. A little pricey but the difference is usually not worth the extra drive to Lowes/ home depot. 90% of the staff are professional and seem like they actually want to be there.

Wow! On my visit today, I was appalled: cashier was not wearing mask, and greeter was maskless and not following social distancing. I saw 4 customers come in the store: none wore masks. No sign on door encouraging or mandating masks. Do these people realize we are in the middle of a pandemic that has killed over 188,000 people so far? My husband and I wore masks and tried to avoid everyone else until we could make it back to front door to exit. We will not be back. This store has flunked social responsibility
