The place is legit! Pizzas are cooked perfectly, my wife ordered the oddball Cauliflower crust with mushrooms and it actually tasted great in a thin crust style. But my definitive fav’s gotta be the fully customizable Calzone (got ricotta cheese & meatball and it was awesome)Great service too, fast and friendly. We were staying near Micanopy and glad we got to try this place before they are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

What a gem! Everything was delicious, from the funghi 🍄 pizza 🍕to the Turkey panini to the BEST chicken 🐥🍗 wings I have eaten. Outdoor seating, so the pup 🐕could join us. This time of year the greens for the salads are local organic, the mushrooms on the funghi pizza too! Our server was very friendly and helpful, thanks @Javier! Will definitely be back. Pro tip - the sangria 🍷is tasty too. 😊

Went here with one of our sons girlfriend while we were here for the festival. The food was outstanding the only complaint I had was when I ordered a beer and asked for a frosted mug was told all that was available was a frosted plastic cup! My wife enjoyed her salad and stated that their home made dressing was out of this world!!! If you find yourselves in this area well worth your time.

The food was amazing! You can tell the greens are local and so fresh, amazing salad. Dressings are homemade and our server Frank was spot on with his recommendations. We loved our pizza and I even got a pizza cat tshirt.The biggest disappointment came when we got our bill and saw the company adds a 3% service fee to our bill because of rising costs. I completely understand that everything is more expensive and business need to raise prices to keep up. But what I didn’t like was the surprise at the end. Managers need to be more forthcoming with that information. Our first thought was to take the service charge out of the tip, but that wouldn’t be fair to Frank who busted his but taking care of our table and so many others. He offered amazing customer service and was a highlight of our meal. It is clear that he enjoys his work and excels at it.3% is a tiny amount and we are not mad at the extra $3 it added to our bill, but really disappointed that management decided to spring it on you at the very end of your bill. It feels like a shake down.

This place seems like it has been here for ages, in a good way. The pizza was great, and the service was amazing. We were driving in from Indiana, and the waitress happened to also be from there, so my wife and her talked about recipes for probably far too long, lol. Drinks are in smaller plastic cups, which kind of sucks. They have a nice outdoor seating area. Parking can be a little tight.All in all, it's worth the stop.

After a day of hiking at Payne's Preserve we were hungry for dinner. We had heard at a craft shop in Micanopy about this place so we tried it. They were able to accommodate a gluten free diet and the food served was nothing but really good. Our server, Javier, was great. He was very helpful to find a way to do gluten free. And was prompt, courteous, and friendly. I would highly recommend stopping by for something to eat.

This little pizzeria is on 414 across from turnoff to Micanopy,fl. It pretty well sits apart from other businesses. But this pizzeria is well worth the stop for some really good food. They have several vegetarian dishes besides the regular menu pizza items. I had the cauliflower pizza with spinach,bell pepper,mushrooms and onions besides the mozzarella and feta cheese. My husband had the calazone filled with pepperoni,mushrooms etc. He was quite happy. I haven't said enough about this business but i did let them know, I thought they needed to bottle their marinara sauce. The restaurant was clean and staff nice. If you're in the Paynes Pairie state campgrounds. Stop in, you won't regret it.

We ordered pizza with shrimp/banna peppers and other half garlic/onions/pepperoni😁 it was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to see jumbo shrimp on the pizza. Amazing little hole in the wall. There is a reason that this little gem is packed full for Sunday lunch. My wife wanted vegan pizza and I shared it with her. The toppings were fresh and plenty, the crust was a perfect amount of crispy. The crust is really a highlight. The funny little bathroom in the back doubles as a cleaning closet, but it is absolutely perfectly clean. The server was extremely knowledgeable, she answered every question that my wife had, which is no easy feat. We will definitely go out of our way to visit again.

I want to love this restaurant for the nostalgia, history, and all the lovely words spouted on their website…but, it can’t even begin to imagine how they are rated as high, as they are. The food is mediocre, at best, and doesn’t hold a candle to satchels, Mildred’s, piesanos…or a dozen other locations that are more convenient, customer oriented and worthy of patronage…this last experience where the phone was not answered for an entire hour between noon and 1, was the last straw…what a shame.

I’ve eaten at the original Blue Highway in Micanopy at least a couple of times a year for the last 18 years, and it is consistent and so incredibly delicious. We love the small, artsy, cozy dining room from which you can view part of the kitchen, the pizza, the salads, the wings, everything we have ever tried! (Sometimes it’s hard to branch out because you start to crave what you’ve had there before.) Truly my favorite pizza I’ve ever had, and as Gainesville residents, we have numerous good options in various styles, so we think that’s saying something.Vegetarian options: Delicious veg toppings that are rarely seen in our local pizzerias, some of the best salads ever, Mediterranean specials like hummus platters, it’s fantastic!Dietary restrictions: Flexible menu!

Wow...this place is a gem. Their pizza is amazing. We had the Pizza Lomdardo, which is a thin crust pizza with prosciutto, arugula, fresh parmesan cheese and some olive oil. It was all fresh and just delicious! Their selection of local craft beers is very good and their home made Sangria was fantastic.
