The drive through pharmacy was a terrible experience. The woman who answers the call hardly speaks English and simply puts you on hold indefinitely. Many times, when you press the call button, all she says is that she's busy and hangs up. After that, a pharmacy technician comes to the window and takes whichever lane they feel like without asking who was next. It's not the technician's fault, but the lack of organization negatively impacts the customers. I've been waiting here for 20 minutes just to pick up a prescription that was ready.

This place has really gone downhill. There’s really only 1 pharmacist assistant that knows that he’s doing. It’s the older gentleman w the white hair. He’s been there for years and he’s great. If you go, Try to get him. Everyone else in the pharmacy drive through is useless. They are rude, bad attitude, terrible customer service. I only come here bc close to my house. But planning on moving my prescriptions across the street to cvs. Or try online Amazon.

Maria at the pharmacy drive through needs some customer service training. I’ve been coming here for years. Everyone is super nice. I was at the pharmacy pickup line waiting for 20 min. Usually, when they are busy, they acknowledge you are waiting and very nicely let you know to pls just wait a few minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting with no one coming to the counter at all, I called the pharmacy. I Spoke to the manager and explained my situation and if they would prefer I park and walk in instead. He said he would check out what was going on. Finally Maria came to the counter, Handed me my meds, charged my credit card on file and walked away. She doesn’t have the kind of attitude towards her job and her customers that most folks working at this Walgreens for years have. she’s likely a very nice person who maybe just needs some customer service and work ethic training. I would get her on that asap.

I have to come into this pharmacy and fight with the employees EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH. to have the same Rx they've been filling with the same insurance for the last 4 years.There's no reason for this other than simple incompetence on behalf of the staff at the location.It's ridiculous that they offer no explanation, no solutions, and no attempt is made to fix whatever shortcomings they're having in filling prescriptions in an effective manner.They're a PHARMACY. They have ONE JOB. And yet, every single month, they can't do it.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your prescriptions. This place is awful.

If you can go to any other pharmacy. Do so. The staff here is awful. Zero accountability and regard for patients. I have dealt with Henry a couple of times who is just rude and wants to blame everyone but his own pharmacy.My dr called in my prescription early. Yes. But getting it out of “archive” and filled has been a nightmare.If you don’t get a text saying your prescription is being processed after you call & if you don’t see a update online saying your medication is being filled CALL THEM AGAIN BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT STARTED THE REFILL.i have been trying to start my refill since the end of feb (medication was due to run out today). They have ZERO trace of me calling Feb 28th or March 2nd. So when i called today because I expected to be able to pick up today; Henry informed me it’s out of stock and now they’ll maybe have it Monday.When I mentioned that it was supposed to be processed when I called on the 2nd, Henry started explaining federal mandates and blaming my dr for calling it in too early. Zero accountability for his own pharmacy not processing or keeping records of patient requests. If you just wait on them to do what they should; you’ll die waiting.

Terrible service at the pharmacy! I waited for a simple consultation and the supposed doc totally ignored me while the other lady kept sending her customers to buy. I am literally in tears. How aweful

The pharmacy is not organized when pick-up at window. Employee only could do is give an attitude when a complaint is given. Ask for the supervisor and she was not in. Mrs. Claudia (supervisor) was off until Friday. No other supervisor. Only one supervisor per 24 hour store. Thats odd. Very poor customer service.

Good luck if you call to the pharmacy. Average wait time is 10min. They love to pick up & place you on hold every 3 min. Getting an automatic refill I guess is too hard for them to do. Unfortunately most Walgreens pharmacy are dropping the ball on service.

BE CAREFUL IF YOU NEED COVID RESULTS ON TIME.COVID Test results in this location are not as advertised. They claim that PCR Lab test results are ready within 48 hrs.I went on Saturday at 9.30am, it is Monday 9.15pm and so far I have not received results. When I called, the pharmacy clerk said it is 72 hrs not 48.Shame on you Walgreens for incorrect advertising on your website and not warning clients at the time of testing.Will never use Walgreens for this test again.

This is by far one of the best Walgreens in my area. They are always cleaning up the mess for Walgreens on 137th Ave. and 40th St. This walgreens in sunset has great customer service, and the pharmacists and nurses at the clinic truly do care about our health. Thank you again Walgreens on 117th Ave. and Sunset for always taking care of me, and helping me out when the other one always fails. Im staying here its worth the drive for me.they are under staffed but very kind to us waiting in line.

Worst customer service ever. Was put on hold five or six times over 30 minutes. First four times they quickly said “please hold” without giving me time to speak. Last two times they actually said “walgreens pharmacy” like they were going to help, listened to me for a second, but then put me on hold again without saying anything else. Ridiculous. I need my medication and have been trying for a week with no luck. I have a very busy schedule and don’t want to go all the way there for them to be out of stock because that happened with another location. Get it together please. I answer phones for my job and I would never treat customers that way.

Horrible Pharmacy service!!!! When you call trying to reach the pharmacy dept. they automatically put you on hold for a long period of timeWhen you call back they hang up on you as many times as they want. All of this a my mother wanted to request her blood pressure medication. Management needs to look at this issue.Horrible experienceWe will removing all medications from this Pharmacy.

ARE YOU FOR REAL?! I've been on there phone waiting for the pharmacy for over 19 minutes! NO ONE even answered to say Can you please hold? Every 90 second the music stops and I get taken off of hold to be placed right back... Still no one talks! I finally hung up with no one helping me. I called another Walgreens pharmacy that answered in under 2 minutes!I remember the last time I was in this pharmacy. I just had an allergic reaction. Instead of telling me to go to the emergency room, the person behind the counter gave me the prescription, rang me up then walked away after I paid. I was struggling to breathe. The customers all told me to go to the emergency room! That caused the guy to notice (forget the sound of labored breathing) and still nothing!Y'all aren't very service oriented are you?

On hold with the pharmacy for over 30 minutes, someone in the pharmacy department would answer long enough to speed through a “please hold” without even giving me time to get one word in. I guess they’re timed on how long they keep the client waiting because they kept doing that. After the fifth time they didn’t even bother speaking, they would pick up the phone and place me on hold right away. So rude.

WARNING. Went this morning. No one at counter. Had to wait 5 mins for person to arrive. Came up with 2 Shipping Tapes. Buy one, get second half price. Cashier claimed none of my 3 phone numbers showed up in system. Then tries to charge me FULL PRICE on both. A real SCAM. Told her she could keep her Tape. That I was going accross the street to CVS. I ended up saving MORE there, than if she had given me the discount anyway. Won't come back to this Walgreens EVER.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service... TWICE i have gone to pick up my refilled prescription and they had told me it wasn't ready. BOTH times they had called me telling me it was ready so i don't understand why i had to go through this...One of these times i got a call on a SATURDAY MORNING telling me to confirm my refill and i did, i come two days later and they tell me i don't have a refill pending????? On top of that the guy i was dealing with was super rude, all i was telling him was that i got a call so i don't understand why it's not ready and he said "i don't want to argue with you." when i was NEVER EVEN ARGUING i was just telling him why i was confused? Never did i put the blame on him never did i do anything that can come off as an argument. Anyway there's a cvs pharmacy right next to this place so send y'all's medication over there thanks me later <3

Do not voice your concerns to the manager on duty at 11:00 am on 03/31/23, as it will be a futile attempt regarding any resolution. Moreover, if corporate allows untrained and boorish management as aforementioned to continue working in such a manner; it says much with regards to regional oversight and training!

After a nightmarish first few months, almost a decade ago, when I first moved to the neighborhood, I switched insurance providers, intensely relieved to be able to take my business across the street to CVS, and the difference became obvious, I’m saddened to say, in almost every single way. Where Walgreens(similar experiences had at other locations so I feel it’s a larger problem with their CS and services in general infrastructure) would fabricate, run into, or plain err, mostly for reasons I’ve yet to discover, issues or silly bureaucratic demands, EVERY SINGLE MONTH, for the same medication I had already been taking for a couple of years, records they had easy access to, as with everything else regarding myself. This incidents varied in intensity, level of silliness, amount of time and effort it would require on my part to solve them and get my monthly vital to my health medications, but it happened EVERY SINGLE MONTH, give or take maybe one. During the following four years at CVS, if memory serves me right I only had to call my insurance once every 24 months and spend a few mins on the phone(it was mandatory plus they review with my doctor wether it’s deemed I continue to need the medication currently taking), every other issue, I was never made aware of, I assume they handle it for me cause, I swear I’m not exaggerating this here testimony, never did CVS made me feels as UNNAPRECIATED by adding to the my burden, but instead eased it, their techs and employees always polite, professional, and genuinely warm and kind with their time and their approach in every single interaction. Well that ended about 4-5 years ago when I was informed CVS would not renew or continue to take my insurance (I won’t disclose that particular detail). Suffice to say, the same experience has renovated at this pharmacy, that I find myself almost choice less to avoid for its proximity and both my financial and health status. A book could not contain the virtually monthly horrible and time-consuming difficulties I’ve had to deal with and experience, couple that with the fact that save one lady pharmacy tech, at this location, her name is Claudia and I cannot praise her enough as a professional, an all-around jewel of a human being, save for her, in that pharmacy dept., NO ONE ELSE, as far as I find myself in the unfortunate position to report, either cares, or has the appropriate or necessary training, nor a natural and pleasant CS oriented personality, or even attitude, in most cases. It’s sad to report this, specially now when our country is battling such a monster of a pandemic, political unrest, and economic uncertainty, I just hope SOMEONE on their end takes the time to read my lengthy recount of events or, complaint, if you will, and turns this nightmare, upsetting, horrible factory-assembly CS system this co. has in place. For everyone else, you’ve been warned, this November was my last in dealing with them as I was able to fix this so that I could go back “across the street”, may god bless you all and keep you safe.

As I was walking in, I noticed that the sign at the door said to follow State Mask Mandates. I made sure I was reading it right, but I wanted to double check. I spoke to the Manager on the floor and verified that since Florida does not have a mask mandate, I didn't have to wear one. He said that was correct, if I felt safe, I didn't have to wear a mask.Since I don't feel safe wearing those bacteria infested, Oxygen depriving masks, I ripped it off and thanked him profusely. God Bless that manager and everyone at Walgreens that has made it possible for me to shop there again.

Called the pharmacy, asked if they have a specific rx, pharm tech said "I don't think so." Clearly doesnt care, asked him to pull up my profile and see if it was in stock, LITERALLY put me on hold and kept putting me on hold several times after when the hold music started ringing. Called back, same tech answered normally, no need to hold, so obviously just wanted to waste my time because he's too lazy and incompetent to do his job. At that point I didnt bother wasting my time and just asked to speak to the pharmacist.

Worst customer service ever. I’m a Walgreens customer for over 20 years. I ended up paying more for my prescription due to wrong information from associate a the counter. (I ended up picking up my prescription in this particular Walgreens far from home also for wrong information provided to me local Walgreens) Associate at the counter told me to take the medication and come back for a refund on my copay, came back today and a very rude lady at the counter told me she can’t process the refund and I can’t be refunded, asked to speak to the manager She told me I will have to come back tomorrow to speak to the Pharmacy Manager, ask to speak to the person in charge. Pharmacy tech came told me They can’t refund me. Explained what I was told the day I picked the medication, pharmacist came to the counter and told me I can’t be refunded. I will be switching to CVS bye Walgreens.

Terrible customer service. So much so that while inside the store, I ordered items online (to be picked up curbside) in order to avoid dealing with such incompetent, rude employees. Once I placed the order and it was time to be picked up, I received a subsequent message stating that the order had ALREADY been picked up. Oh Really???? When I got to the store for pick up, I called them and they hung up on me. I had to go back inside the Godawful store just to find out they had lost the order. Overall it was a VERY VERY BAD Experience and I will NOT return to the Walgreens on Sunset Drive and SW 117 Avenue ever again

Completely disrespectful of people's health. After letting the employee know that I'm unable to wear a mask (due to severe panic attacks), she then shouted across the store to not ring me up. (Mind I kept my distance 6ft from anyone there). Can't believe a place that should above all else, care for people's health, would treat someone this way.

I was on hold for 1 hour and 10 min. No one ever answered. I even used my son’s phone and called with his and after being on hold with his phone and more than an hour and 20 min. I hung up. I thought by calling at 1:30 in the morning it wouldn’t be so busy. It said that there were 2 callers ahead of me than at one point it said 1 call. I even look on line while waiting and it said they were open 24 hrs. They should really have better update. So mad they always take forever to answer but this was insane.

Very unsatisfied with the service. The lady didn't want to sell my freind wine for her mom because i went to carry it for her mind you I'm only 20 but she can't carry heavy items because of her back and the lady refused us service her name GRACIELA CARDOSO. Very rude with us also she told us she explained in spanish and English and asked why i don't understand. Very very rude and appalled from what i experienced at the store today.

We just stopped here to get a tetanus shot. No one was waiting in line or on the clinic furniture .The doctor or practitioner looked at her watch , said she was expecting an appointment at 1:15 and told us we can vote back at 2:30 pm or tomorrow . It was 1 pm . The female practitioner wearing the white UM over coat had no time for us. Yes it's only a tetanus shot but "Yes" how long does it take to give a shot ? Very bad service for something that should be considered relatively minor . First time ever let down by Walgreens. First time ever trying to use on of their clinics . Last time also . Going to CVS across the street now . Don't know if they have clinic .
