What a lovely cacophony of birds! We had a long layover before our flight and made a special trip down to meet everyone. I wanted to take them all home. The shop birds Penny and Pebbles were so sweet and fun to talk to and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I went there on Christmas weekend to buy a bird as my daughter's Christmas present. However, upon arrival at the aviary, I was disappointed and concerned to see the birds plucking their own feathers and looking sickly overall. Someone needs to investigate this location, because if these are the birds being displayed, then god knows the conditions of the birds hidden behind closed doors.

This is a one-stop pet bird location that has a friendly staff and a variety of accessories, birds andcages for anybody looking for any type of regular to exotic birds. I have, I highly recommend them. They show a lot of love and caring for the birds and in their maintenance. All birds that I got from them are very kind and loving and are of the highest health quality.

What an amazing shop! The birds are so beautiful and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It’s obvious that they really care about the safety and well being of their birds and all birds. They go above and beyond to teach you have to properly care for your pet bird and they sell a plethora of supplies (food, toys, accessories, etc) to keep your bird healthy and happy.

I have been going The Aviary for many years and just recently purchased two birds within 8 months of each other. The staff is so helpful and knowledgable.Jenn especially makes sure that you understand everything about taking care of your new feather babies. It has very many years since having a bird and I felt very comfortable once I left to go home. Kiwi( The green cheek) and Oliver (The cockatiel) are the sweetest birds and thanks to the guidance of the staff I was able to successfully introduce them to each other without any problems.

I just recently purchased a Quaker for my grandma here at The Aviary Bird Shop. It is currently a baby being hand fed at the shop.I have been coming to the shop 1-2 times a week to check on the bird. From the day I stepped into the shop until today, everyone has been extremely friendly and patient with me and my grandma. They give you the best advice for caring for your specific breed of bird and answer ANY questions you have as they’re very knowledgeable.They also have a huge and I mean HUGE variety of toys, cages, food, vitamins, rolling perches, treats, nesting boxes, and of course birds. They also offer different cool services for your birds as well.Shoutout to the 2 ladies that are at the front desk for answering all my questions and the 2 ladies in the nursery that helped me with hand feeding!This will defiantly be a forever place I will be purchasing essentials for my bird.

This place is amazing and the staff are so kind and helpful, they teach you about the bird of choice how to care for it, how to bond with it, the personality of the species, and since they are hand raised they tell you the personality they've noticed in your reserved baby. The shop is a wonder with so many items to fullfill any necessity you have. Very clean and organized. THEIR PRICES CAN'T BE BEAT! The owner and her daughter are there frequently if not always and the moment you walk in it feels like a home. We are getting a cockatiel for my daughter and since they recommend frequent visitation to help bond with the bird we pass by once or twice a week till our little floof is ready. The place feels like a sort of visit to the zoo in the sense of entering this amazing world filled with these beautiful birds. In searching for the right bird for our daughter i went to several places and not only are the prices good and detailed personalized attention amazing but THE PRESENCE OF VARIETY of birds they have is so cool, you literally can pick whatever feather tickles your fancy and they most likely have it. If your looking for a new feathered baby YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!

We bought my daughter a beautiful blue quacker parrot from here and I was extremely impressed. Jennifer was so communicative and the facility is gorgeous. They genuinely take such good care of their animals and the shop has everything you need there. I highly recommend Aviary Bird Shop. Every employee was so very nice and kind. I have been a customer of The Aviary so long that I can’t even remember how long. I have a daughter that is now 45 and she worked for The Aviary at the original location as a teen. The owners and employees (they’re so gracious and accommodating as well as get along so well) that you don’t know who is who !! In addition, so caring and knowledgeable. I just love them all. So does my eclectus Nemo. Their products, their birds, their treats, their foods are of the utmost quality. Also, very reasonable in costs and prices. My family feels the very same way. Keep up the good work everyone. I know that you will !!

Hello, recently visited in its “new” location, but delighted to find that the Aviary is back home again in its original location that we visited many years ago with my young daughters. Yesterday my now adult daughter & I were back to purchase cockatiels and introduce a new generation to the fun of keeping pet birds. Jennifer was the greatest and spent a good deal of time listening to our needs & helping us select the perfect cockatiels for our 8 year old girls. Jennifer was very knowledgeable, accessible and so patient in taking the time to answer questions, make suggestions and find just the right match for us. We never felt rushed. It was a great experience. Thanks again and we will see you soon!

Great location & The best customer service.I have purchased 3 parrots there 2 quaker and an Indian ring neck .The best of all is that you get to put a deposit on your favorite bird when is a baby you can pay it while they hand feed it and get him ready for his new home.I live this place the employees are really clean , they are always sanitizing everything and mopping the floor. Specially with the covid-19 they make you use hand sanitizer before entering the birds Nursery.Best place Of all 😀😀

What a wonderful place. My son and I purchased our little princess Lily and we could not be happier. Great customer service from everyone. From the ladies in the front to the laddies in the back are very friendly, patient and caring. Lily was still too young to take home and then we were leaving out of town. Even though we really wanted to take her with us, I truly appreciate the honesty and the recommendation of what was best for her. They are very knowledgeable and give great advice. Thank you Jen and Alan for all your help and patience as I know we would come often to see her and asked many questions. We were always welcomed with kindness. Mind you we would come at least three times a week. Any other place would have been annoyed, which I could totally see why. Yet we were treated like family and always felt welcomed. Every time we would come I could see how well taken care of the birds are and the cleanness of everything. I love how well the birds are being cared for and the attention they are given. As you enter the facility they have a HUGE selection of toys, perches cages, treats and foods. As you go to the back they have a HUGE selection of cages. They also offer boarding services for you to leave your bird when you go on vacation. When we picked up Lily we were explained how to care for her and we were given a booklet customized by them on many topics like food, appropriate toys, things to look for etc. you are also given a card to use for free nail and wing clipping for the life of your bird. They also offer DNA services to find out the sex and we received a certificate. I could not be happier and I would highly recommend you to purchase your bird and bird essentials here at the Aviary. You know you will be taking home a healthy bird, as well as any question or concerns you may have, you will be getting honest advice. Always what is best for your baby. Not the best. Went there today with my bird and my sister's bird. I have a sun conure parrot, and my sister owns a Quaker parrot. Long story short. My bird bled when they clipped his nails, and my sister's bird ended up with a broken leg from clipping his nails. They were not gentle. My sister's bird had to be taken to an animal hospital because of its broken leg. What upset me the most was that when we brought to attention the bird's broken leg to one of the ladies, all she could say was, “let me get you a card” what is a card going to do??? Aren’t you knowledgeable? Shouldn't you give the bird medical assistance? Not as familiar and gentle as people have said. I’m irate because this could’ve been avoided if you would’ve been more attentive to my bird and my sister’s bird. Now I have my baby scared, and my sister has hers with an injury and long treatment to make him feel better. If anyone wants their bird's nails clipped, go to a veterinarian; more Pricy But safer. I am so disappointed in the owner of this store. I have bought all my birds from her, but the last bird I purchased was confirmed to be a female. And a year later, I come to find out She sold me a male. When I came to her about the issue, she said to just return the bird that I have had for over a year and that she would give me a female. There was no policy or refund for the mistake on their end. All these people care about really is money. Money, hungry people they do not care about the actual birds or customers. I will never be shopping here again and I hope you double think before you go to this shop. Disappointed with them.

I have been visiting the Aviary since about 2007. At that time, it was at a diffetent location slightly further South on US1. I liked that the owner and all of the employees have always been friendly and helpful. I never have felt afraid to take my birds there for grooming or for boarding. There are always many happy return customers at the store. The employees have worked there for years. You very quickly learn that the owner and tbe staff are reliable, knowledgeable, and truly love birds. The place is very well-maintained. The prices sre fair. During business hours, you will always reach an actual person when you call. I highly recomnend this store to anyone who needs bird supplies, information, or a new avian friend. It's a great place to go!

The lady there practically choked my parakeets to clip there wings and nails, worst experience ever. The first time we went I noticed the lady doing the trimming was slightly rude I let this go but the second time she was impatient while trying to catch my parakeets I told her I’d help her get them out and she ignored me and proceed to complain how it would be easier if they weren’t In there cage and in a carrier instead.. she than proceed to keep trying to catch them and grabbed them by the neck and proceeded to tell my daughter not to talk to her bird as we were stressing it.. really maybe it was the fact that you had my poor parakeet in a chokehold than when we took them home I noticed my poor baby was acting strange and that’s when I noticed blood on his wing she clipped it wrong! Do not bring your birds!

Best aviary shop in miami. Definitely worth the drive. They care about their birds, they have quality food bird safe products. Wonderful selection of anything you would need. Nail and wing clipping are not stressing for my birds. It is quick and clean.

Joanna and Jenni are awesome, my communication started with Joanna she was so knowledgeable and was so personable. She took her time with me over the phone and followed up with texts. We drove the 4.5 hours, because she made me feel extremely comfortable.When we arrived she was so helpful in helping us make the right choice and perfect fit for our family. Once our choice was made and during the process I meet the owner and her daughter Jennie, Jenni was extremely knowledgeable and was so sweet, she took her time and explained different things, she also gave us a session on how to feed out new baby Catalina Macaw. Jenni has offered to help us in anyway she can with the feeding and weaning process.Joanna even texted the next morning to see how our Macaw was doing and find out how she was on the ride home.Thank you Ladies for making us feel comfortable and sharing all your knowledge! I take my Amazon parrot here ever so often to cut his nails and clip his wings and they always treat us right and take care of the bird. We even buy him food and toys which they have a large variety of. If you are scared of having someone else clip your birds nails and wings then I suggest coming here for toys and food and maybe a baby bird that you'd he interested in buying.

I had heard so much about Aviary. Decided to go see for myself. I ended up buying a baby Harlequin Macaw on my first visit😊. It was love at first sight. He's the cutest thing ever! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions (I had many) You can tell they love their birds.They keep the place clean and odor free..(so important) Their prices are reasonable.I would not hesitate to buy from them again or recommend them to anyone looking to buy a bird, we are in love with our baby.

Great new facility for an awesome experienced bird shop. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a wide assortment of foods, toys, services, and cages. Need a wing clipping, have an unruly beak, are those nailes more like raptor claws? The Aviary has you covered. They even have a bird hotel for those of us that are forced to be away from our feather babies, for a few days or even a few weeks, but don't have a sitter. This is where I go to get all my birds food. No, I am not an employee, just an enthusiastic customer that has had a wonderful experience here.

I've been coming to this aviary for approximately 7 years now. The staff is very knowledgeable and they treat the birds amazingly. I always is the bird I am shopping form would be suitable for our family? They considering we are a family of seven, five are children they suggested the perfect bird that would Suitable with our family. We I just added my 3rd addition to my family. I keep coming back to get their nails & feathers trimmed. Always a happy client .
