I had a great experience for my first time! I recently moved to Miami and was nervous for Benji’s grooming but Luz H did an amazing job! Everyone there was so nice from the walk in. I will definitely be booking again with Luz. Benji was very happy after leaving as well.

I was looking for some simple training for my hyper puppy and just lucked into this location. I can not begin to compare the level of quality customer service, the selection and variety and presentation of products and the training experience. I visited petsmart in San Rafael Ca. when I was staying there regularly for kibble. They are not in anyway comparable, this store is so much better. And the training classes, well Ms Alexandra has a connection with the dogs and they just love to please her. She has the sweetest kindest soul and the dogs just melt. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE AND HER CLASSES.

The worst customer service I have had in years.Cashier was a kid who would not even look at you when talking to you.I asked for help to buy some food for my dog, and the answer was: sorry we are short staffed, and I have 3 customers waiting for me.I left without buying anything and had to go 1 mile north to a smaller establishment with great customer service and an awesome variety of dog food.Keep up. You will be in business for a long time :(((

Not a great experience. They couldn’t diagnose my cat even though I brought her in and they did a bunch of tests. They also upsell me on their premium services and quoted me the wrong price over the phone. I had to self diagnose her that she had asthma. Pretty awful experience.

Horrible! No on helped us with the fish and told us how to take care of it. Every time we try to buy a fish here, they die the next day. They come sick. I am very good at keeping fish, so I know its not how I take care of them. The decorations for fish leak brown colour into the water that makes it look ugly and also helps kill the fish. If i could put zero I would.

Recently shopped here again to get two mystery snails but they didn't have any which is ok 🤗. So I just ended up getting two more fish. Brandon was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Hopefully by my birthday there will be Gold Mystery Snails if not then oh well. I will just enjoy the lovely fish I have now in my 5 gallon tank.The staff there currently is great. Most times you might have to wait a few minutes to be served because at times the staff are trying their best to serve everyone. So most days will be busy. Just have to be patient 😌If I was able to own cats I would of adopted 2 that I saw recently.Every time I've gone into Pets Smart I always enjoyed my experience. The last time I went Lily helped me out with what I needed for my beta fishes and mystery snails. Thanks again Lily! Also on Sundays you can go in a room to pet the cats.

This review is not for the store as a whole, but for the grooming salon located at this site.I took my dog there months ago for a bath & brush and per the dog groomer named Gaira who worked with him, he did fine. My dog is a challenge and has a fear of water and tends to get snappy when he is attempted to be bathed. This was a problem the very first time I took him to a petsmart salon in another state. However, the visit he had here months ago with Gaira, he did fine- her words, not mine- after the visit. She stated he snapped at her once but afterward was fine and listened. I even tipped her extra money because I know his breed can be dramatic, and she agreed to work with him.I received a courtesy call from Gaira at the salon in February to schedule another appointment with my dog, I couldn’t schedule just yet due to work. I called last week and scheduled an appointment for today and the appointment was confirmed.Today I came to my appointment on time, only to be met with disdain from the salon manager, Alex, telling me per my dog’s previous notes in their system, that she doesn’t feel safe having Gaira work with my dog. In addition, Gaira stated out loud “is it the really bad (insert dogs name here)?” Which was rather rude and unprofessional on her part.This whole scenario is unprofessional and poor customer service, hence why I’m leaving this novel of a review.1) the notes may have been from a salon in another state, years ago, from when he was first adopted2) if it was a review from the last visit, the groomer blatantly withheld information about how my dog was behaving in the salon- and failed to tell me if he really was a problem. And if he was, I didn’t receive a call — and they finished his appointment anyway.3) Why would you call me to remind me to set up an appointment, book the appointment, then wait til I’m in the salon standing in front of you- to tell me you will not work with my dog that day because of his notes in his profile?? When they were readily available to you through all those calls?This is poor communication on their part and they managed to waste me and my dog’s time. If you didn’t feel comfortable with it in the first place, at least tell me over the phone so I don’t waste my time coming to their salon anymore.I hate to write a negative review and use names, but this is bad business, and unfair to the customer.

Dear PetSmart,I have a deep dissatisfaction with the poor customer service I received at your store on 1/10/24. I visited this store with my 8-year-old nephew to purchase a lizard, and I was shocked to learn that I was not allowed to buy the pet without the presence of my nephew's parents. This was extremely inconvenient and frustrating for me, as my nephew's parents are not local and were unable to accompany us on our visit.When I asked the store manager, George, why I needed to have my nephew's parents with me, he stated that it was because I was buying the lizard for my nephew. However, when I questioned how he knew that, he claimed that my nephew had told him directly. This makes no sense given that my nephew is a minor and would not be able to make such a purchase on his own.Furthermore, when I asked for George's boss's contact information to escalate my concerns, he refused to provide me with it. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of assistance is unacceptable, and I feel incredibly disrespected as a customer.I expect better communication and service from PetSmart, and I hope that this experience will prompt an internal review of your policies and how they are implemented by your staff. I am requesting that you provide me with your corporate office contact information so I can further escalate my complaints.

The hospital in this location will give -0 I went to spay my cat and before surgery they find out the cat as an scars on her belly and they don’t even ask me for her documents to check on her certificate if she was spayed or not and then they did the surgery and I check the paper and yes she was before I adopt her I don’t even know because no body told me and right away 5 min later after I found out I called them back to stop the surgery and they already started a lot of negligence due to a doctor and her team and in the begin they told me the insurance cover the surgery but because it wasn’t any surgery they just open the cat belly they will charge me the anesthesia and after I complain about their negligence they didn’t charg me for it and they where giving to me q lot of excuses just because they don’t WANT to feel guiltyBE CAREFULLY WITH YOUR PETS DONT TRUST THIS PEOPLEThe petsmart at midtownAND ALSO THE MANAGER AT GROOMING SALON ALEXANDRA SHES A TERRIBLE GROOMER I YOOK MY CAT I PAID 68 dollars and my cat was wet like 45% and her hair was flying all over AFTER 3 HOURS THATS RIDICULOUSI DONT EVEN RECOMMEND HERPLEASE LISTENYOU DONT WANT A BAD EXPERIENCEGAIRA SHES A GREAT GROOMER

This is my local petsmart, I come everyweek like clock work....The lack of customer customer attention the new guy manager has is upsetting.Every week I buy my sick cat the vet prescribed food. It requires the VET phone number to validate the prescription ....the first time we came we showed the documentation. Cool no problem. The girls helped us and all ....2 months ago I was told now that's all verified all you need is the vet phone number, just come with that info ....The fact he refused to look up our order history, lack of solution he just told us he can't sell you this, because he doesn't want to get in trouble.... Leadership skills are not there whatsoever, problem solving 0, the store is messy, lack of product availability.Promote from within, buddy doesn't know how to run a store.Next time try to help customers or calm down the situation rather than raise it up...Learn your store policies.... As a customer I know them better than you....

Located in a central part of town with many public parking options around. Around 5pm there were not enough employees on the floor, but the ones who were, were very helpful and nice. Store is kept clean and you have an extremely large selection of items for all kinds of pets. I was not able to purchase what I needed because it required a prescription, but I eventually found something similar.If you need something right away for your pets, this store is pretty decent and you’ll find what you need.

It is so sad to see the animals in this store suffer. I would not have a problem with pets being sold, but here they are stuffed into extremely small cages. Some.of them can barely move. Cats are locked in small cages, many fish are in small plastik boxes, some of them are dead.

The Grooming Dept is amazing. Ayda, has been grooming my dog Milo for several years. She is amazing, we highly recommend her. I use the Petsmart App to book her services because she gets booked fast. Use the app for pre-check in which makes drop off smoother.

My dog got a beautiful haircut here! I stopped going to other groomers because PetSmart grooming does an excellent job and their prices are good, too! My dog Arya looks like she is ready for a wedding, that’s how fabulous she looks after her haircut.I recommended PetSmart grooming to my friend and her Pomeranian got a gorgeous lion 🦁 cut, and she is so happy with the results!

I scheduled an appointment online at 8 o’clock for my short hair small puppy, according the website there was availability for that time with the name of the person attending this appointment, after a long day of work I arrived the store on time to attend my appointment and they told me they were closed already with the poor excuse they needed 4 hours to bath my small puppy, really? the website says they closed Tuesday night at 10 o’clock and I think 2 hours is enough time to complete the service. What a terrible mistake and customer service for a big store they should be ashamed, I think the people on charge of the grooming didn’t wanted to do their work disrespecting me with excuses

It's a great location. Every time I visit with my dog someone always greets us and acknowledges us coming into the store. The ailes are kept well stocked with everything you need for your pet. I only wish they had beds for small dogs as every time I've visited they always have for medium and large dogs. I have a 3 lb chihuahua she doesn't need a bed that can fit a toddler. But all and all this is a great store for all pet essentials. Also, there is always a lot of parking either in the lot or on the street making it super convenient for drivers. For those who have pets needing grooming services, they have a section that does that and they have a Banfield Pet Hospital within the store to have your dog or cat seen by a vet. Just a word of advice I hope you don't have your pet seen by Vet Taylor, he is horrible. Aside from him, I have confidence in all the other vets I've met there.

This place is hit or miss. I use to take my dog for grooming here, but they aren't very reliable. We did our training here too with Carlos. He was great, but he left. I don't shop for too much here anymore, but as far as the store goes they usually have what I am looking for. I foster dogs and sometimes I have to buy new collars, leashes and toys for them. The staff is really helpful sometimes and other times they can't be found.

This is a review of the grooming team. They are really exceptional. I’ve taken three dogs here for 7 years, maybe 5-6 times per year. The diverse staff shares a positive energy, collaborative and supportive team approach, and impressive skills both in calming and grooming dogs. I recommend them without reservation. They keep my pups’ nails short and filed, their fur soft and manicured (when appropriate) and our family’s stress level around the process to a strict minimum. Thank you!

Had an amazing first time getting my dog groomed! Highly recommend veronique. She was so sweet with my Pit/American bulldog mix Luke. Upon arrival he was first to be seen. She is experienced with dogs because he recommended for Luke not to get his nails filled since he does it naturally while running. Luke came back home so happy and smelling amazing!!!!
