I waited until the cashier finished her phone call to ask the where I could find cat shampoo. I was told over there and then ignored. So I asked where over there, I looked already and I can't find it that is why I came to ask for help. I was told again told over there in the cat section. No 1st, 2nd, 3rd aisle, no bottom right, end of aisle 3. I said I'll just order from Amazon.

A quick stop to pick up fresh food for my dog. The fresh food section was a bit under stocked. But staff is always courteous. I don’t buy dog food anywhere else because I always have great rewards and discounts.

BEWARE! Do not take your Dog to the Grooming salon . My appointment was at 2pm . The groomer told me it would take 2-3 hours and when I went to check on my dog at 5:30pm. The groomer said a student was working on my dog . A STUDENT . The student spoke and said it would take him another hour to finish because he’s learning and his slow. … The groomer was just there sitting in the front desk doing nothing . I spoke to the manager and complained about how long. It was taking and that a student was working on my dog not being supervised even . She offereda 30% discount . I said yes but that I wanted the groomer to finish my dog. 44 minutes later the groomer comes outside where I was waiting to tell me that she wasn’t going to touch my dog and she handed me my dog with half of her body shaved and the other half full of hair. I was extremely upset bc this is my kids’ dog and they were going to be devastated … this place needs to be retrained and offer better service … NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Bring 10 cents to buy your own bag, here, eventhough they make 100's of millions a year, they wont give you a bag (to carry what you just bought).they asked for the 10cents.immediately I returned everything, got my money back, and went to Amazon.bring your 10 cents if you want a dump bag.

I went in to get my dogs’ nails cut and teeth brushed. The lady at the front specifically told me they use a toothbrush and toothpaste. I watched through the window and she just put toothpaste on her finger and shoved it in my dogs mouth (both dogs). When I asked her about it, she said they don’t have toothbrushes, but didn’t know at the time when she told me. She didn’t charge me for the “teeth brushing,” but still is odd she put her dirty fingers in my dogs mouth… just say you’re not offering teeth brushing at this time. & all the other staff members just watched. Weird behavior. Don’t pay to get your dogs’ teeth brushed, they won’t actually do it.

This Petco is horrible. No help on sales floor. Slow cashiers. Over priced and are now charging for bags. I guess they have to pay for the remodel some how. The drive up to Petsmart is well worth it.

Everything went good until I got to the cashier. The young male staff member at the cashier had such a strong smell of marijuana that it was uncomfortable to stand by him. Even if he smokes outside, he should not be allowed to have contact with customers in that condition!

I have been taking my two dogs to get bathed and groomed for over 5 months now. Yolanda and Jackie always take such good care of my dogs. They always come out so clean and smelling great! This location is always so clean and the staff is always so friendly.

Clarixa was amazing I would definitely recommend her and this location. I went here because I was going to the location in homestead by my house but they never answer the phone ,so the other location picks up the phone so I will just take the drive. Ask for Clarixa Thanks again

Petco is a Must with 4 cats. I can get their toys, food, and littler all in one place. If I am ever in need of help either in the store or with heavy items taken to my car, someone is always available to help!!! Service with a Smile!!!

I have come to this petco for grooming several times before but this time they tried to squeeze every dollar out of my appointment. My dog is a small Cockapoo and for this appointment all I wanted was a bath and teeth brushing. I booked the appointment online $36 for bath $12 for the teeth brushing plus the material fees. When I get to the appointment they hand me a paper with the prices and its $36 for bath and $24 for the extra package which I KNOW I didn’t book I just wanted her teeth brushed for $12. So I asked and they said oh yea the teeth brushing is included in the extra care package. So I was like fine and signed off on their paper and said I am just going to leave it alone but already felt like they are just adding things that I did not ask for. When I come to pick up my dog they hand me another paper with different prices!!! $41 for her bath instead of $36. So I asked again and she says that its because my dog is considered medium size and $36 is the price for a small dog. I tell her this is not the first time I bring her here and I always get charged for a small dog even when we do haircuts. On their app a small dog is considered from 10lbs-25lbs. I tell her my dog is 19lbs and she says impossible because she is too big she has to be a medium size dog. So I request for her to weigh her and we go to the vet inside of petco to weigh my dog. Turns out she is only 15lbs!!! And then, what annoyed me the most was that instead of saying I am sorry, my mistake she just looks big or whatever, she has the audacity to say the scale must not be working correctly because that’s impossible my dog looks too big to only weigh 15lbs. So she was going to change back the price for this time only. I just wanted to get my dog and get out of there I am not a confrontational person but I am learning to stand up for myself when people try to take advantage. I think they must earn commission so the more they charge you the more money they earn. Which I think is fine if they honestly try to sell you a more expensive package or shampoo and you agree with it. But for them to just automatically add packages and change the prices without letting you know is just dishonest. I called customer service and canceled my vital care premier I won’t be coming back here.

Not recommended for grooming. I tried to take my dog, but I didn’t like the way they treated a dog that it was already there. He jumped and the groomer left him hanging with the neck collar on from the table she didn’t care at all. I ended up leaving with my dog back home. Besides, if your dog has knots they complain… I am taking my dog to a professional groomer. They are not professional at all, and if they do something bad to my baby mmm that won’t be accepted.. so better avoid it.

We can't really have a pet because I am very allergic to pet hair and some products for pets, like some feeds and beddings. But the employees at this Petco are very nice and don't mind me taking my children just to see the animals for a little while.
