I wish I could give more than 5 stars. They did GREAT with Buddy. He's a puppy and it was his first grooming so we didn't know how he'd respond, but they kept him calm and he did great. They were able to do the full cut and wash without a problem and gave us a lot of tips about home care. Thank you so much! We will 100% be coming back for his next cut and grooming!

I am a serious pet owner and wanted new pet rats with all the equipment which would’ve cost over $100 in sales… The manager was just blasé once I told him that I’ve owned Rats before and I will need to get all new equipment, bedding and food which any sales person would know what cost a pretty penny. The manager seem like he didn’t even care about trying to make a sale. The poor rats were never touched or socialized so they weren’t making for good pets for sale off of that. I’m sure this place yourselves Rats as food for snakes. Which I have zero issue with but the fact that as a previous rat owner, the salesman knew that I wanted to buy all new stuff and several rats and never tried to encourage anything. Just poor salesmanship, not even telling me where any of the merchandise is to set them up, if I was choosing to take several of them.

Terrible employee (Enrique) at Kendall drive & 127 aveThe worst customer service I’ve ever had at any kind of pet storeAfter purchasing several items at that location, I realized after unloading my bags later that evening that one of my items was missingI proceeded to call the store to let them know & then arrived at the store shortly afterI was treated in a very condescending manner by Enrique (Asst mgr)? & told that he would only do me this favor onceLet’s be clear he was not doing me any favors. The cashier did not put my item in the bag & I was then treated like a liar for wanting to pick up the item i never receivedI never received an apology for being inconvenienced at having to come back to the store for a mistake the cashier madeShopping at a pet store is supposed to be especially fun & Enrique ruined that for meI will be stopping in to speak with the mgr & will see how his customer service skills compare

I wish all businesses were ran like how Andres runs this store. Incredible service and attention to his products and inventory. I asked if he had a popular product in stock that by all means should have been sold out because of the excellent deal they had, and without hesitation he went and checked for me and came back with the very last one. And let me not forget Justin who assisted with ringing me up and collaborating with Andres to get me the product.

Got the best help they were great also gave me advice on does and don't. One thing that got me wrong was a 10 cent charge for plastic bag for my purchase. Moving forward 1/20/24 just went back got the same great service and refresher advice. Keep it up by the way I have 2 other petco alot closer and 2 other places that can go to.

I always love this place. Staff is always helpful. I'm happy that the trainer returned back to work. I was surprised to not to see any hampsters, gerbils or any small friendly pets. I was told that they a quick sellers and the delivery truck is every Friday.

I don’t normally write reviews but I just want to give the team a big thank you, I got help from multiple employees today, including a groomer! She helped just because she owned cats and was knowledgeable. They recommended me great products and thanks to them I was able to fix the problems I was having with my cat. Again thank you so much and I will definitely be returning to this Petco!

The association giving our Yorkie the grooming service was so kind and sweet! She was also patient and very communicative with everything she did in the service. Very satisfied overall, will be bringing him back for his next grooming, thank you Petco

Camila, the groomer, is very sweet and I’m sure she treated my dog with care. I had a golden doodle with precious hair and the front desk person claimed that he was matted by his legs. She wanted to charge $1 a minute to brush my dogs hair and said it would take MINIMUM an hour. That’s an extra $60 on top of the $60 bath and groom that he was getting. I have NEVER paid $120 to groom my dog and his hair has not been any different with the other groomers. So I told front desk that I wouldn’t be paying the brushing and to just lightly trim what was needed. I picked up my dog and he was COMPLETELY shaved. NEVER have I EVER gotten my dog back like I did at Petco. I believe it was a sign of pure LAZINESS that they didn’t want to take the time to brush my dogs hair and settled with just shaving it all off. Never taking him back.

I purchased a baby corn snake from this petco a few weeks ago and when I took her to the vet today I was surprised to see she was infested with parasites and in horrible health, when I called petco their only response was “we can take her back” without any responsibility whatsoever for selling me a miss-treated sick animal. I like the store and the products they offer. However, the customer service and experience is terrible. I was charged the wrong price for an item and if I hadn't checked or spoken up, I would've paid $20 more. The cashiers evidently hate their job and will rudely tell you to leave since the store is closed or closing. They don't warn you the store is closing, they just tell you the store is closed in a rude demeanor. They also don't wear uniforms and I can never tell who is working there or not. They're super short staffed and sometimes the cashier section is empty and you have to wait for someone to check you out. It seems only two people are working at any given time. Management needs to re-train their team on how to carry out great customer service.

Every time I come to this store to spend more than $100 dollars is chaos. No one to find to ask a question or nobody at the cashiers. I had to asked for a cashier to cash me out while she saw me at the cash register but is now importa let to get the fishes in containers that to cash out a costume and then asked to pay for a plastic bag? Oh no no no. This is too much for me to take. I feel I'm in a communism country charging for everything.

Store was clean, I did my order online and pick it up and the employee not sure is He was the Manager was friendly and I decide to see something else for my cockatiel but the prices was cheaper online than the store when I ask the female cashier about the prices her attitude was excellent and told me they can do price match witch I ended buying the product and I appreciate when employees help the business to get the goals thanks.

If I had the option to post a review without giving this store a one-star rating due to its horrible customer service, I would. I have shopped at this location for years and have always found the employees to be polite and helpful- until today. In the midst of a severe thunderstorm, I realized that I was out of dog food and placed an online order for pick up at the Kendall store. I promptly received an email confirmation stating that my order was received and being processed. Almost two hours later, I had yet to receive another email alerting me that my order was ready for pick up. I went inside the store and spoke to a cashier named "Katie" with no customer service skills who curtly informed me that my order was not yet in her system and there was "nothing she could do about it". Realizing that the store would soon close for the night, I asked to speak to the store manager or supervisor. Katie claimed she was in charge and proceeded to tell me that she was alone with another employee and couldn't do anything to help me. I had to wait around for another hour until I contacted Petco's toll-free customer service line and my order was then received "miraculously" by the store. I explained to Katie that I understood it was not her fault that the order had not been received in her system (despite the fact that I had an order number and email confirmation) but that measures should be in place to prevent this inconvenience to customers. Once again, she was rude and dismissive. I bid her a good night, and not surprisingly, she ignored me. When my daughter thanked her, Katie's responded with a "yup".I understand that Petco's system may have been experiencing technical difficulties. However, there is no excuse for Katie, who calls herself a manager, to be outright rude, insolent, and unprofessional. I am surprised that a reputable company like Petco would hire "managers" that have no notion of how to treat its customers. Katie is not an asset to Petco as she represents the company poorly. Perhaps intensive training on providing good customer service, even when the store is short-staffed, would do her well. If she can't behave like a manager, she has no business being one.

I brought in my dog originally for a nail trim and buff, but ultimately decided to opt for a mini make-rover plus because it seemed like a good value. My dog’s nails are too long and I have been trying to consistently bringing her every ~two weeks (at the advice of Petco staff), so that her kwik could recede and the nails get down to a more manageable length.On this particular day, I was told by Carina that she would be able to do a nail trim AND buff. I made sure to clarify if she would definitely be able to do a trim (not just a buff), because my dog has black nails and some groomers are too afraid to do that and will only buff. She specifically said yes.When I went to pick up my dog and inspected her nails, it was very apparent all Carina did was a quick buff (even missing some nails…).I’ve been to this location twice before and was very satisfied with the service and results (dog’s nails were actually trimmed) and even recommended my friends bring their pets if they need nail trims.This time I thought something was fishy when I got a call that my dog was ready to be picked up within 5 minutes. The other two times prior with different groomers, it took at least >15 minutes.Needless to say, if I do come back to this location - I would not opt for Carina to be doing the service.I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I want to be fair and acknowledge that she at least attempted to do the other parts of the service (ear cleaning/teeth brush).
