My son and I love it, we cone here alm the time to enjoy thr animals, mainly the cats, reptiles, fish aquariums, birds and ferrets. It is an experience for anyone with a little brother or sister, with a son or daughter. Pet Supermarket have all you need for any pet you have. You can adopt a cat or buy any of the availavle pets. They do NOT have puppies but they will direct you for sure. They Have all u need for ur little pet friends

Disgusting franchise. Nearly all pet supermarkets have 0 care for the well being of their fish. I would question their care for all other living things they have in these stores.But hey, if you want some dead or sick fish, come to your local pet supermarket.

As far as shopping for bettas goes this place was very good. The staff member Nick was super helpful and very friendly. The betta himself was in great health and condition at the time of purchase and is a handsome hippo halfmoon. He is only doing better now especially in his nice 3.5 gallon tank where he has room to swim and even made his own bubble nest already, and he's only been in his new home a few days. One thing I do want to stress is to do your research and make sure you get a suitable home for your new buddy, a 3.5 gallon tank being a minimum and one of those cheap but effective water heaters that are preset to 78°. Note that the 1st picture is from the night we got him, so he actually looks even more handsome now.

Use to be that they carried the food bags to your car, but now you need to ask (this service for older individuals is valuable). Stock is low on certain popular foods & we hope they slow down on the prices. We are going less and less. Don't match prices like pet smart stores.

Great service and selection. We have shopped here several times over the past year and always had a good experience. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, clean and orderly store. Prices are a little higher than Petco but worth it because the store is usually not packed with customers.

The store looks somewhat tired and not fully stocked.The employees were all chatting and talking socially. They were not focused on the clients or on sales.The store could be so much better if the employees cared and were focused on clients and sales.

If you call not so good service , if you visit not so in variety sometimes. For instance I had to call 3 times within 20 minutes because they put you on hold then hang up.

Prices are a little bit higher than your stores like Walmart and Target and the other big box stores, but let's face it, when you walk into one of those bigger stores it's nearly impossible to find help and if you do find help, they're Clueless about any other area then the area that they're working in. For example, a lady working in women's clothing at Walmart will know absolutely nothing about the pet section. That's what I like about pet supermarket, as soon as I went in there, a very friendly young guy asked me what I was looking for and I told him I was looking for a cat collar and some cat food. He showed me the cat collars and then I told him the problem I had with a previous cat collar and then my cat was scratching so hard that she actually literally didn't break the collar into but the collar was designed to break apart. They are called Breakaway colors. He told me that most people that buy cat collars, usually end up buying dog collars instead because they're much more secure. And so that's what I did. It fits perfectly, I bought her a little dingling bell so I know where she is, even though she's an indoor cat. But if it wasn't for this young gentleman's help, I don't know if I would have been to happy at all with my purchase. I'm so happy that he knew about animals and animal accessories and when I put them to the test, he passed with flying colors. So kudos to Pet Supermarket, the one right there next to El Novillo in the Westchester area.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The store itself has a grand selection for anything you need. The fish area thoroughly disappoints each time I go, there seems to be no employee with knowledge about fish there, so if you’re a new aquarium hobbyist and expect some guidance from the employees, don’t go here. The prices are also quite high for the fish section. The dog section is so far very nice and has the most variety. The selection for fish is not wide at this particular store.

The people who work there are very nice but when it comes to certain creatures for example, Some of the workers are afraid of picking up a Tarantula or an African Emperor Scorpion. In my opinion if you worked at a pet store you should be trained to handle those type of creatures if they can't do it then they should not work at a Pet store! that's my 2¢ worth

If you're into vinyl this is the place to visit for variety. The vinyl section gets larger and larger. I'm into jazz and love the selection and never leave empty handed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Last visit included "Kind of Blue" in mono and the latwst Eric Dolphy release.

Best prices if you compare them to similar stores. I've seen a difference if .59 cents less for organic dog food than at other places (for canned food) Really impressed. Switching already!

If you are coming to buy fish from here go far away! All there fish have ick and the gold fish look totally fine but once I put them in my tank all my fish got ick. Do not waste your time here.

I always get crickets only here. However if the person helping me knows how to count I’ll be lucky. They have a couple staff members who are great and always give me extra because they know it is with crickets. But to give me 15 crickets when I asked for two dozen. Okay let’s look past that last time they actually gave me 2 dozen and half were dead. I’m sorry if i have to break this news to you guys because you guys sell bearded dragons so i figured you’d know. Bearded dragons like live crickets not dead crickets. But hey i feel like I’m starting the obvious for a pet shop. I get that lizards aren’t dealt with much but it’s something you should know dealing with those pets. Just a little input for anyone thinking to buy crickets here.

Very very sad news today my wife told me that our V.I.P 11th bag FREE!! is NO LONGER VALID anymore as of dec 2019 that sucks. I didn't know it was a temporary thing I will have to shop elsewhere for the worth of my money. I especially shopped there because of that I wish they could have notified us better. Just because my pets food is super expensive there $50 for a 30 pound bag. I guess thanks while it lasted

Very clean, they were having a clinic day for dogs/cats, however store was clean and other than the employees that were talking amongst themselves while we were waiting in line it was an overall great experience

Had to hunt an employee down to help me get feeders. When I found them, they were chatting away by the registers and made it very clear they didn’t want to help. They finally decided who was going to help me. Was given fewer feeders than what I paid for, while the employees made it very clear they didn’t want to be there.

I really like this store. The kids who work here are very friendly and clearly have a great hiring manager. Shelves are well stocked and a large selection. I recommend.
