The staff was knowledgeable and attentive offered us deals on sale we bought the cutest ferret, unfortunately we couldn’t keep it but the employees helped us with a refund and got us all our money back and took care of the ferret for us. A great store with great employees and pets!

Love this store and used to work it too. Always clean and organized but service has really fallen through. I’m not the type to ask for help when I shop but when I do it’s because I really need it. Was kind of brushed off by afternoon / closing staff and stood around with another customer for a bit while they socialized at the registers and just overall goofed around. Will probably only shop in the mornings like I normally do or go to another location when I need the help.

The young lady and lad helped me with trying to find a nice filter for my fish. The young man was realistic with what I could do with my tank.I highly suggest that you do you research about fish and bring a picture or reference of your fish tank. With my pictures and measurements he was able to suggest a nice filter. Now my fish tank is way better!Thanks my little ones are happy.

As an update to the aforementioned incident, I decided to follow up with the store as per their request to contact them via email. To my surprise, the customer support team responded with a rather inadequate solution: they offered me a 10% discount coupon. It seems they were under the assumption that, after the terrible experience I had, I would willingly step back into their establishment to make another purchase using their discount.----------------------------------------------------------------My recent encounter at PET Supermarket on SW 8th Street in Miami, FL, left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. I had purchased a pet toy from this store, hoping to provide my furry companion with a fun and engaging plaything. However, this experience quickly turned into a nightmare due to the store's inadequate management and a defective product.The pet toy I bought initially seemed promising, but it fell apart after a mere two days of use. The stitching unraveled, rendering the toy unusable and even posing a potential threat to my pet's safety. I was not only upset by the toy's poor quality, but I was genuinely concerned about the potential harm it could cause to my beloved pet.In the hopes of resolving this issue, I returned to the PET Supermarket store to inquire about a refund or an exchange for a better toy. To my disbelief, the store manager displayed a complete lack of understanding and empathy. The manager, Angel, refused to acknowledge the flawed nature of the product and instead insinuated that I must have mishandled it. This dismissive attitude was both infuriating and disappointing, as I expected better customer service from a store that caters to pet owners.Adding insult to injury, when I sought help from the owner, their response was equally disheartening. Rather than addressing the product's poor quality, the owner suggested that I should have taken better care of my pet and discouraged me from letting my dog play with the toy as intended. This contradictory advice undermines the very purpose of a pet toy, which should be designed to withstand normal play and interaction.The overall experience left me feeling unheard, frustrated, and disrespected. A store that fails to stand behind the products it sells and lacks empathy toward its customers is not one that deserves support. PET Supermarket on SW 8th Street has proven to have both inadequate management, as exemplified by Angel's behavior, and a disregard for the importance of customer satisfaction.I strongly caution anyone considering shopping at this PET Supermarket location to reconsider. Not only did they sell a defective product, but they also exhibited poor customer service and management. In light of this disappointing experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future, and I encourage others to do the same to avoid the frustration and dissatisfaction that I have encountered.

Good evening,I would like to report an incident on my order at the following store#138 (12576 SW 8th ST 33184). I was with my father trying to purchase the buy 4 get 3 Cesar dinner pads and well like any consumer we thought to take advantage. We got 21 of the little food 12 to buy and 9 for free. We get to the cash register and the cashier by the name of Rachel, proceeds to ring us up, and when we give her the coupon she said it was only one per purchase. She proceeded to ask her manager about the coupon. It was our mistake to not read the coupon but my father had offered to do three transactions as the coupon says "Limit one per purchase" yet the manager Alexander lied and said it was one per person. My father then separated the seven dinner pads since the manager Alexander said that we were only allowed one per person but the cashier Rachel rudely spoke to him and proceeded to blame us for having to delete the transactions and ringing the items up. Due to the manager Alexander and cashier Rachel lack of respect or accommodating the customer as we were willing to do three different transactions as the coupon said "limit one coupon per purchase" We will no longer be returning to this Pet Supermarket. :)Thank you for taking the time to read my story and hope that customer service for this store improves.-Elizabeth Comstock

We went there to get what we needed for the arrival of some fish for for the house. The service was VERY VERY good. The young lady working in the fish dept. was super helpful, and very knowledgeable. It's ALWAYS a wonderful experience to visit this store with my children.

Parking ample. Store well organized. Wide variety of products. Prices competitive. But during my visit, about 15 minutes, some of the staff could have used some management instruction... the whole time there, they sounded like kids in a high school cafeteria; loud and rowdy, while stocking products on shelves.

Pro...the store was very clean and organized. Con...when we checked out the fishes, the comet tank was very cloudy. Which I totally know from personal experience it can get after fresh cleaning or adding water. As the sediment in eater has to settle. Buy i would say 70% of the fish were at the bottom either dead or dying and the water pump and filter were not working. I let the folks in front know and was met with "oh they're alive, if you touch them they swim off." Seriously!?!?! Anyway, let them know I'm not a novice about fish and those were certainly dead and they needed to check and scoop them out as well as prime the filter. Again, was met with basically I was wrong they were right deal. There were a couple employees just standing chatting about their weekend and another at the register. There is certainly no work ethics or pride in what people do anymore. Just sad.

Good store to find everyday needs for you pets.They have a rewards program I believe and we signed up with our phone number but it wasn’t explained at all so have no idea what that program actually does or how it might benefit the customer.

Very clean place organized you can find things that you had no idea existed due to the organization. Their personnel are very nice and helpful and if a staff member can't find what you're looking for they will continue asking amongst them or even search other stores for whatever item you want. The customer service is great there. Didn't like that they need your information for a return with a receipt. Collection of data is unnecessary and with all the breaches I don't trust a small pet supermarket to safeguard any type of data. Other than that everyone is extremely helpful and nice.

There was a young gentleman at the register. I was rushing in and instantly went to ask him where I could find something. So he pointed me in the right direction and a few moments later came next to me and asked what I need. He found the right product instantly and explained the other options. Thank you so much, I was really crushed for time and this gentleman was more than kind!

Its a young team in this store but they are very knowledgeable and all seem very caring about the animals in this store. I have personally witnessed their tenderness with the birds and their knowledge of their personalities! I was there one day when one of the cats was being adopted and they were all genuinely happy and celebratory that the cat was going to a good home. They even explained to the new owners what games and favorite toys the cat preferred. Whenever I need advice or help regarding my own pets, they seem to know exactly how to solve it. And rely on each other to confirm that their advice is on track. I am very impressed by the employees of this store.

No employees, if you have a question be ready to wait until the single employee charges all the other customers. Teacher discount posted and they could not honor because the cashier called the manager to help him and after waiting for 10 minutes the manager never came.

The staff here is always friendly, however, the last two times I been to this store they been out of the Royal Canin German Shepherd food. I had to go to a competitor. The young lady tried to explained how it was on demand......"is that my problem" I want to support local businesses. We all know I can order via internet and never worry about it again.

This store has a great staff all around and very good selection for all of your pets needs. However, I want to highlight a particular employee there that always makes it an amazing experience for my dogs and I. The Employees name is Damarys. Damarys is consistently amazing with great service and suggestions. She has great product knowledge on what she offers and and never in a pushy way. Damarys always provides that specific outstanding service that keeps you coming back. I have also observed in several occasions what great leadership skills she has and not only how she communicates with other co workers but how they look up to her as well. Damarys always goes above and beyond to make sure not just myself but other customers are taken care of. I mention these things because I am a business owner myself and having these qualities that Damarys displays, is a true asset to any company. I applaud Pet Supermarket for recognizing great talent like Damarys and I truly appreciate her amazing service. Just went in and my wife asked a female associate for help and got an attitude response.I called an associate and pointed that the 50 count mealworms were either empty or dead, no where near a 15 count, and he ran his finger thru the container and placed it back and walked back to the front.How sad to see an employee ready to rip off customers either cause he was trained to or cause he simply doesn’t care.I used to come to this location and the staff was nice friendly and cooperative, and the last two times it’s been a sad experience just like today.Never coming back!Check your product before buying specially if it’s by count.

Guy with glasses and beard (seems to be manager of store or supervisor) has a very nasty attitude. Just asked a simple question on return policy and I got snapped with very nasty attitude. Don't recommend coming here as in customer service isn't that good.
