I don't think I've ever experienced more apathetic customer service. Actually, it may not be apathy as much as it is stupidity. Either way, plan on waiting a long time at the register. The store is understaffed. And the people who are working there really couldn't care less.UPDATE: I contacted the 866 customer service number, and provided details of my disappointing experience. Hopefully, the store manager will take what I said to heart, and correct things accordingly. Thank you for listening.

Really outstanding service. The guy who helped us was really really patient. My mom had a ton of question and he was beyond accommodating. Kudos for that patience and customer service skills. The lady at the cash, who was being trained, was not super helpful and just said that’s all we had or we don’t carry that, but she was new, so she gets a free pass. Aside from that, the location was nice (albeit a lot of dog hair on some counters near the grooming and self-grooming areas). And it carries a bunch of different products.

I was taking my dog to the Supermarket closest to me on 152 st. Unfortunately their Pet wash stations always filthy. They hand you the shampoos all mixed in the wrong containers or overdiluted and full of dog hair. Towel bins are always full. Nobody there cares and it shows. However this Pet Supermarket on 88th is the best and CLEANEST one I've seen. The manager Terry is a gem, always helpful and keeps the place running great. The staff is always great! Love bringing my dog here for his bath. It's worth the drive if you use the wash stations regularly.

The staff there is great, and I'm so happy they brought back the whiting shampoo!! Definitely love going there to use the baths for my boy. Plus you can't beat $10!!

I had a pet emergency, and the manager, Kiamilee, was knowledgeable, super helpful, and really nice about it. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a pet store! Highly recommend the pet washing station and thought the pet supplies were good quality for a reasonable price. Thank you, Kiamilee!

They have an assortment of goods for all types of pets. Also had rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and 2 cats up for adoption. The fees are reasonable and come all inclusive when adopting. May have to consider at another time. Everyone was helpful and friendly although they didnt carry my brand of cat food, I'll definitely be back in for more goodies! I signed up for the rewards. For those who CAN find their brand you buy 10 bags and the 11th is free!! So be sure to sign up!

I like this Pet Supermarket. I come here every other saturday (or try to) to look at the dogs that are out for adoption, even though I can't adopt one just yet. They have rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, some reptiles and birds for sale. A decent selection I would say. Unlike other petstores, you can touch/pet the hamsters/gerbils. I recently got 2 healthy gerbils from here, and a lot of the nessary supplies. The staff was very helpful with giving me advice and tips on what I needed for mt gerbils.

This place has everything you need for your car. The manager Humberto is berry helpful and humbled. The employee named Javier is also very helpful and friendly" he knows alot about your needs for your car, very respectful. I definitely would recommend my friends and family to shop at this store.

I don’t write reviews but wanted to take time to do so this time around. I went in earlier this week into this store and what a wonderful experience I had, the staff was great and so friendly I believe her name is Steph and the tall gentleman with tattoos is Robert I remember looking at his tag. They walked me to the dog food I needed and I ended up buying a few toys and treats for my little guy. Again great help and knowledgeable staff, this is how every store should be.

Ms. Nicole and Mr. Jessie are simply amazing!!! Today, I visited to purchase tags for my beautiful meow and unfortunately, I got my PIN wrong a million times. Nicole, was super patient and understanding(I can't thank you enough). Jessie helped as well and they were both great energy under the circumstances I was in. Pets are important and I needed to make this purchase. Thankfully, I live close by and they helped by holding the items until my return with an actual card. I love this store and the associates are the best. Thank you guys, you are the best!!!

The only place that carries ECO BEDDING. (It's great bedding for small pets.) Big assortment of items for every creature imaginable. Very nice associates.Clean and well organized. Jessie is doing a good job 😊👍. Enjoy your visit and adopted a companion. They have them with fur, fins, feathers, scales, 2 legs or 4.Don't forget to say "hi" to Santos. He great🦋

Was treated very disrespectfully by some young high school sales kids who thought they knew better than me, a grown adult who’s owned and loved many pets throughout my life. Was going in to purchase a new fish tank for my new apartment and was belittled by the girl who told me that I would kill any fish I bought unless I purchased a specific expensive tank when this store offers a variety of cheaper options. She was extremely condescending and told me that it makes her angry to see fish treated the way she THOUGHT I would treat mine based simply on products I was LOOKING at that are available on the shelves. I couldn’t get a word in until she finished her rant about how I didn’t know how to care for a fish, mean while all this starting with her coming up behind me, asking if I needed help based only on where I was looking. I will never go back to this store.

These guys were close to closing down and we regrettably forgot to pick up dog food before family dinner. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to let us linger and chat with us before the night was over, and that felt more welcoming than seeming like we took up their time. A small gesture, but it made a huge difference. This all came days after I tried to explain why I prefer Pet Supermarket to the competitors so, thank you again for giving me a reason to patronize and enjoy doing so.

I recently visited this store because I needed to buy Science Diet formula for sensitive stomach and skin for my pet. The shopping center has been given a major makeover and it appears that the store may have done the same. I haven't shopped at this particular Pet Supermarket for about 3 years.I was impressed by the layout of the store! The signage makes it easy to find products based on what kind of pet you have (i.e., dog, cat, etc). The aisles are nice and wide and uncluttered.They have a great variety of products and brands available to suit almost any owner's needs. During COVID, the employees wear face coverings and the aisles are marked with 'one-way' arrows to avoid congestion in the aisles (social distancing).The employees are polite, professional and very helpful. All in all, I am very pleased with this store. It is spotlessly clean, organized and nicely laid out for customer convenience.I highly recommend this location of Pet Supermarket.

The store was fairly clean. I wide variety of products to choose from and friendly service. There was a wait at the register because no one was managing it which was an inconvenience. A lot of people bring their pets too so it would be a good idea to include a cleaning station so the owners can clean up after their pets in case of an accident. Overall a good place to shop for your pet.

I have been a long-time customer of this location, and most of my experiences have been good. Today however, I urgently needed to get some food for my pooch, and when arrived the store had closed early, yet there was a staff member by the register who just turned to look by the entrance door but didn't open it. I had also had a long drive before getting to this place. Saw some comments where customers have opted to start going to other stores, I might just start doing the same. Sad 😔

my visit to this location was great but most importantly the assistant manager named Shantai was phenomenal, highly intelligent, bright and friendly. Highly recommend getting the answers to all your questions by her she’s truly amazing and has a warm and furry heart!

Customer service is everything- unfortunately the employees of this store have nothing to lose when a customer is unhappy or mistreated. This is the third occasion where I arrive 5-10 minutes prior to closing. Employees are just standing around doing nothing or the girls are sitting up on the counter waiting until they can clock out. They don’t even have the decency to say “sorry we’re closed or we decided to close early today”. They sit there with a grin on their faces waiting for you to figure out that they are not opening despite you arriving within their store hours. I don’t see the sense of spending money on relocating and stocking a new store only to treat customers so poorly. Going to start shopping at Petsmart.

I was treated poorly by the round fish salesman. Big fat guy that does not care about the customer.I explained the whole situation and they deleted my review. They will not honor their fish return policy. Every tank has dead fish in it, but it’s the customers fault their fish dies the day after they get it.
