I have a mini golden doodle and have tried multiple groomers in Miami, the most recent one being an absolute disaster that resulted in multiple trips to the vet because of the grooming service. Then we found Kanu and could not be happier with the care and quality of service for our pup. They do an amazing job and actually listen to our requests for his cut, he always comes out super cute, fluffy and extra soft! They also are super knowledgeable and gave recommendation to help fix the ear infection our dog had that was a result of the horrible grooming service from the last place that didn’t clean the water out of his ears. The store is also small but has a nice variety of food, toys, and treats. Highly recommend!

Brought my 3 month old puppy Swiss to Kanu for his first grooming. He’s super friendly but super excited and doesn’t like to be brushed at home so I wasn’t sure how he would handle it. When I picked him up, he looked great, but was also very happy! Thank you Kanu!!

Kanu Pet provided the cut for my pomeranian exactly as I described and expected. Most recent visit was on a Sunday and she was finished in around 2 hours.Also for every visit so far, the staff members have been very friendly.

We stopped by Kanu Pet while in Miami for vacation to get a bandana to bring back home for our very large dog (it can be hard to find bandanas that fit him). They did not have any on the sales floor that were big enough so they gave us one from their grooming area that would fit him. Very welcoming and friendly customer service!

This is my pup Walter's favorite store in the world! We can't walk by without him running inside. The products are great and reasonably priced and the groomers and staff are wonderful, especially Luisa. She is so friendly and helpful and Walter is obsessed with her!

I can’t say enough about Kanu. We just moved to Miami and googled the best groomers. But before going we stumbled into their cute boutique, and the ladies there was so great to our puppies. I just knew it would be a great place every time they leave they have such a great cut. They listen to all my instructions and the dogs are so excited to go in. The ladies know exactly what to do to make them fall in love and lure them into getting groomed. If you want great grooming and even better puppy love- this is the place. And I am VERY PICKY.

They hurt my pomeranian nails. To the point i cant even touch her! Im so sad and disappointed. You take your furry one to this places trusting they will treat them with love and they leave them terrified to come to this places.

Title: "A Traumatizing Experience for My Pomeranian - Avoid at All Costs!"I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and care exhibited by Kanu Groomers during my recent visit with my precious Pomeranian. I had heard positive things about this establishment, so I was hopeful for a pleasant grooming experience. However, the result was an absolute disaster, leaving me and my pet in utter distress.I was very clear with the groomer about my expectations for a bear haircut, and I explicitly asked them not to shave my Pomeranian. The breed is known for their fluffy coats and is susceptible to sun damage when shaved. Imagine my horror when I came to pick up my pet only to find them completely shaved down, exposing their delicate skin to the harsh elements.This unacceptable outcome indicates a severe lack of knowledge and understanding on the part of the groomer regarding the specific needs of different dog breeds. By disregarding my explicit instructions and shaving my Pomeranian, they have put my pet's health and wellbeing at risk. The sunburns and potential skin irritation that may ensue will no doubt cause significant discomfort to my beloved companion.I urge anyone considering Kanu Groomers to think twice before trusting their pets to this establishment. It is clear that they lack the necessary expertise to care for dogs properly, and the consequences can be both heartbreaking and costly. I will never return to this salon and will ensure others are aware of the disastrous experience I had at the hands of their supposed "professionals."I hope the management of Kanu Groomers takes this matter seriously and takes the appropriate steps to improve their services. No pet owner should have to endure the distress I experienced. Zero stars.

I was excited about this place opening. I’ve been buying food and supply there since they opened and finally I brought my Yorkie in for grooming. His hair was about 2" long. I told them to "take off half". When I came to pick him up, I was pretty shocked. They shaved his body to about 1/4" and there's a big section where it's even shorter. You can see his skin. I complained and they acknowledged the error and offered me a discount for next time. I said “why not this time?” After a little commotion with the manager, she came back and offered me 15%. I told them to keep it. I've been in customer service businesses my whole life and when I make a mistake, I try to make it right. $60 instead of $70 is a slap in the face for this big of a mess up. They also took almost nothing off his legs so I had to send him back in twice and wait 20 min. Sad because I live next door and loved the convenience.****UPDATEThe store manager replied to my review, apologizing and giving him number so that I might call and give them the opportunity to make it right. Well, I called and left a voicemail about a week ago and got no response. I also called the store and left a message- also no response. Doesn’t seem like there is any sincere wish to resolve it…just a nice reply for P.R.

The space is incredible and the selection even better. This store is very well located in the middle of Brickell and you can find high quality products and fun toys for pets here. The service was also great which is rare in Miami :)

They botched my puppy. The cut was super uneven and frizzy! I wanted to try a new place but Animal Crackers is the only place in downtown for grooming. The woman who groomed my dog said she used the same machine throughout my dog but she honestly left her worst than when she came in. I’m so upset because it was a waste of my time. I’ll be taking her back to animal crackers tomorrow to get her fixed.

The staff are some of the most caring, friendly people I've ever met. I've gone there a few times now and my puppy is always so excited to see them. He always gets bad separation anxiety but not when he's here. Even after my puppy stepped in gum on the sidewalk and was so scared, they were so helpful to calm him down and take him in for an emergency grooming last second. I am so appreciative of them and would highly recommend coming here!!

I have a cat and a dog, and we got to know some new products, as the frozen treats that my pet babies simply love them. This is already my dog’s favorite place. My dog has really eating problems, I been in the store one hour ago and a helpful friendly girl called Luisa helped me a lot to find the right food for my dog and recommended me this goat milk that it is really a miracle, now papi is eating very well and loving his new food. It was really a need here in brickell a pet store with that quality of customer service. Thanks Kanu and thanks Luisa ♥️ papi and me love you
