I'm grateful for an experience that could have turned out negatively (from a mix up with the shipping address), but ended positively due to accountability for the error, open communication about my needs & expectations, & excellent customer service. The owner made sure I was well taken care of, my package got to me in time, & even followed up with me to ensure that everything was received without any issues. Be careful when ordering online. I paid 17 for priority mail and received my package 1 month later. I called several times and I was told it was coming. I reported it to Paypal for no show but they provided a "delivered" status so I got screwed. When I received my package, items were missing. I contacted the manager but she didnt even aplogize! Or tried to fix the situation. Waste of money and time

I went and although the people were very nice, they are insanely overpriced. A doll I've seen in other botanicas for only $75 was $150 here. I didn't realize that they are a pet shop either because there weren't any animals visible. Maybe they are by reservation or something. They have a great selection of items though, just I am 100% certain I can find EVERYTHING much cheaper elsewhere.

They are rude and bigoted. After customers pay for service they completely change and throw slurs at customers. The woman working there is too daring and low that accuse customers of hitting on her "husband". They charge a lot of money for the work and you never see the results. Low class and nasty people.

I bought some products online trying their services for the first time. I did this with another 4 online botanicas. Viejo Lazaro was the first one to complete the sales. In 3 days, I got the products, not only that, they got me free shipping and finally they have the best price from the rest in the specific products I bought. So glad I found this place by my house that's open on a Sunday. I wish I would've discovered it sooner. Very clean, organized and spacious. Great variety. Found my new go to spot for my religious supply needs.

I currently live in Boston but I’m originally from Miami. I was there on a business trip, therefore, I decided to stop at this botanica. I liked 3 soupterines and let the store attendant know that I would call her to place an order when I got back to Boston, so I did. I paid using my credit card via a text message.Here are my issues:1. They promised that I would receive my items on Saturday, September 7th but I did not receive them until Thursday, September 12th. I had to text her multiple times to get the Fedex tracking info.2. When I finally received the box; one of the soupterines was broken, they did not send the style I asked/paid for. I even sent then photos of what I wanted. I was also missing one item.3. I let Leisy know right away, but she did not even apologize instead she lied and said that I would receive the missing item the next day because it didn’t “fit” in the box with the other products. Again, she took a while to text me the tracking info because she shipped the missing item only because I pointed it out.As a business owner myself, I expect respect and responsibility. Now I’m stuck with a different item than what I paid for. I’m so disappointed that I will never order from this place again.

I love this little store. They carry a lot of different products at reasonable prices. They do consultas, sell yerbas, Palos, clothing. Everything you need. The people there are really nice.

El Vejo Lazaro Online Shop is overpriced and they take little to no care in packaging contents well. Shipping costs are off the roof and yet every single package that stops by my doorstep is tattered and battered to the extreem. A package recieved today has no support; meaning no bubblewrap, no paper filling, no means of securing the contents I paid $200 for inthemselves and $70 in shipping alone. Seriously needs to re-evaluate their handling. I am forced to now look elsewhere.
