Very unhappy with “puppy trim” on my 4.5 month double doodle. I gave specific instructions and pictures. They completely shaved her without my consent. This was not their decision to make. If they didn’t want to groom her long fur I would have gladly picked her up and found someone who would give me what I asked for. Of course it’s easy for a groomer to say there is “matting”. I brush her every night and that is not the case. I was robbed of my puppies fur and that is not something you can replace. Devastated!

The guys at VLP Grooming are amazing! Renato did such a great job, this was Lola’s first hair cut and I loved it.. she looks gorgeous even a week after her grooming. Thank you guys and will see you soon!!!!

The original owners sold their business, therefore, I deleted my old review and writing a new one.The grooming is not professional, my dog's hair was not even after being groomed, they scraped his belly and he came home with a little wound (nothing serious, but I'm sure it hurt him), they have raised the prices for boarding, and they close waaaaaaaay earlier (at 4:30) than before, which makes it inconvenient if you want to leave your dog for daycare and want to pick them up after work. I've been going to this place for 2 years but I am NOT going back anymore.

*Recent new owners* I had been taking my dog here for over a year and LOVED them, they made my dog look cute and were extremely nice. Then I brought my dog recently for just a bath/dry, called back over two hours later because I was worried I missed the call and the girl informed me they hadn’t started yet because they got “VIPs” ??? I don’t want my dog waiting there nervous all day. I decided to try again- they did the haircut in a timely manner but they cut her pretty badly and didn’t inform me, plus the haircut was not good. I also noticed they had a new sign up saying $45 charge if left for over an hour. But how can you plan when to come back if you don’t know that it could take 45 min or 3 hours? Two stars because the guy at the front was very nice and friendly.

When Renato was the owner this place was good. Last 2x I took my dog here, he came back scared and with back pain. He won’t let me pet him. They brushed him too hard and it hurt him.When I picked him up, they complained saying he’s a difficult dog and he sheds too much. Guess what, he is a dog.And with the old owner, my dog was always happy.

I would like to update my review to more stars and a happy experience but truthfully I didn't even get to make it there because the tone and the attitude with which they speak to potential clients over the phone basically implies take it or leave it, not sure we'd love to have your business... They don't have a captive audience in this area and the ones who've been here before them have been here for years and years. Let's see if they make it with that type of treatment of people. It's great to treat animals nicely but their owners deserve decency as well.*** Response to owner comment.Yes, everything you said is true and my point still stands. Your tone is apparent on the phone and in your reply to my review. In general, the number of toes are the same but there is a difference between a 100 pound dog and and 6 pound dog. Are you charging the same for a full grooming no matter the size?? Your attitude won't keep your business open very long. I have seen so many in this area come and go... Good luck.

I just picked up my fur baby from VLP. I took him in for a full grooming experience, and I'm so glad I gave this place a chance. I checked out the facility a couple of weeks before taking in my puppy (he doesn't do well with strangers) and met Chuck and Renato, who are real animal lovers. I appreciate how clean and well organized their space is. Also, they are personable, professional, and compassionate.I highly recommend this place and will be back!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Been coming here since their opening and I'm extremely happy everytime I take my chihuahua Phoebe to get groomed! She's a fiesty little one but they handle her perfectly. I truly recommend taking your dogs here for a beautiful cut evertime!! And their boarding is great too!!! They treat your dog like their own ♡

VLP does a fantastic job of grooming our dogs. They are happy to go visit so that tells me they are well taken care of while there. The facility is clean with open spaces that can be divided for multiple dogs to safely enjoy. I always see very happy dogs there when I take mine in for grooming. I highly recommend their grooming and boarding services!

A terrible experience, I spent over $100 to have my two dogs get a flea and tick bath, and they came back more itchy than ever before. I called the place they told me to bring them in only to want to charge even more money which we absolutely refused and they never mentioned on the phone. The only way these people probably get repeat business! Never ever again, all they did was take our money, they did a horrible job. Don’t waste your time or money with them!!!

We have tried many times to have our dog groomed and she would not tolerate it from anyone. VLP Grooming is the only grooming professional that our dog would not only stay with but enjoyed the whole grooming experience with. They were patient, loving, caring and did an excellent job. We wouldn’t take our dog anywhere else. Five stars across-the-board!!!

I'm so impressed with VLP! Such a beautiful clean space where you feel like you've known everyone forever. They treated my dog, Ruby, like a Queen and she seemed so happy to be there. They posted an adorable video of her getting her bath (real time so it was a nice surprise to see while I was working) and she looked perfect at pick up. They even have a huge room for the pups to hang out before pick up so they're not in a cage all day. They clearly love what they do!We will be coming back for sure! Highly recommend!

This place is great! The owners are very attentive and kind. They ask a lot of questions about your dog. I wanted his beard alittle shorter and they had no problem fixing it when I arrived to pick him up. My dog seemed very calm and happy in their care. Definitely coming back.

We brought our dog here for the first time and had a great experience! The owners (I believe that’s who I was dealing with but I might be wrong) were super kind and showed so much love to my dog, Walter. Service was super speedy and Walter looks so cute! The facility is super clean and modern as well. Will definitely return.

Worst ever!!! Groomer is total unprofessional!!! Doesn’t know his job!! He almost made my Pomeranian bold, despite the fact that i pointed and the beginning several times just to trim my dog very very little. Horrible horrible experience. I don’t even know if it will grow back again! Stay away from this place! They don’t listen and do with your dog whatever they want.

My dog loves these wonderful people. He’s a big poodle - they handle him expertly. He’s happy to arrive, goes right to “Uncle Renato” and back to the grooming table. When I pick him up he’s so happy, and looks so great. Chuck and Renato are the best!

Wish I could leave zero stars after spending over $100 here and both my dogs came back itchier than ever after supposedly having a flea and tick bath for each, these people do a terrible job. Does not seem like they did what they said not at all!
